“Vangelmon” - a Vangelis tribute with Strymon Cloudburst and Sequential Pro3

"The new Strymon Cloudburst it’s an instant inspiring new reverb. It immediately inspired me to craft this new patch on my Pro3 and called 'Vangelmon' a tribute to Vangelis. This reverb sound reminded me about his music.
The sound it’s entirely produced by the Sequential Pro3 with reverbs and fx, other than Cloudburst I used the Microcosm by Hologram Electronics for the pluck rhythm at the bottom.
Maybe it’s going to be a track in the future. Who knows !!

"1977 Korg Micropreset MP500, in time capsule condition, including the (rare) music stand. Monophonic synth with points of interest: the ‘traveller’ filter (the same as on the MS10 as far as I know), the ability to combine multiple presets, and the random repeat, which can (surprisingly) take it into experimental territory. It excels at Thermin-like sounds (with a beautiful ‘woody’/‘flute-like’ quality) and can handle the classic 70s range of bass, lead and noise. It was famously used in early OMD recordings. Serviced something like 2 years ago, 100% functional."

"Korgs classic 800DV - has been fully serviced this year which included a complete recap of all the electrolytic and tantalum capacitors. Synth was also recalibrated at the same time. Switches and sliders were lubricated. Also has the essential dual CV/Gate/Filter upgrade for independent control of both sections of the synth. Currently set to 240v - can also be switched over to continental voltage. Nice cosmetic condition too."

"Nearly mint, serviced, perfectly working Juno 106s - smooth sliders, fresh battery, grounded power (standard 3 prong.) vcf/vca chips replaced, fully calibrated. Factory sounds loaded. Chorus sounds fantastic. New Speakers.

The speakers have been replaced as nearly all original 106s speakers have deteriorated, so these sound great, nice low end, great stereo chorus.

The juno 106 and 106s are the same machines, but the S version has two speakers (and audio input for the speakers as well), which makes it fun for writing and working without monitors."

"Doing old school Italo Disco with octave bass and haunting melody line.
Synths used: Korg DW-8000 (bass), Roland Alpha Juno-2 (bell melody), Roland JX-8P (pads) and drums from Akai S1000 triggered by patterns from the Roland TR-626 drum machine.
The DAW is providing sync for drums and DW-8000 arpeggio which is the octave bass.
The pad part I'm not playing live is overdubbed later.

"This piece was created using ‪@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC‬ MORPHAGENE, ‪@teenageengineering‬ OP-1 field, and ‪@SequentialLLC‬ Prophet-10. It unfolds as a quiet minimal ambient composition that gradually converges into a distorted piano loop.

In the modular synthesizer, a sampled piano is played back on MORPHAGENE, with its output split into two paths. One signal passes through a Clouds clone, while the other is processed through ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ GENERATION LOSS MKII, adding saturation and a tape-like effect.

On the OP-1 field, a sequence is played using the ENDLESS sequencer, with manual filter adjustments opening and closing the tone throughout the performance.

The Prophet-10 is performed with reverb applied through the ‪@strymon‬ blueSky, adding depth and atmosphere to the sound."
