Row 1 of the Doepfer MAQ16/3 drives the Synthesizers.com Modular, row 2 the self built Modular and row 3 the Creamware MiniMax ASB. The solo's are performed by the AKAI AX80 with the P1 piano preset and the Korg 900PS wih the Voice and Clarinet presets. The cello like bass is performed by the Clavia Nord Lead 1."

"Partial cover version of Chicago's hit Colour My World using Yudin Workshop Pulsar tongue pan drums and a Mellotron Micro keyboard.

I started this last fall and never finished it. I was going to add drums, bass, maybe some sequencing/arpeggiations, and I even made a futile attempt at singing the vocals but no amount of editing could save it! 🤦‍♂️😅😊 So for Valentine's Day I decided to just put together the last third with just the tongue drums and Mellotron.

Did this rendition of 'All of Me' by John Legend on my Behringer Blue Marvin 2600. I was sending the MIDI from Ableton through the Intellijel µMIDI eurorack module. "wes has bene practicing for his show this w/e. it will be fun to see him play from the front. i only ever see him from the side.

next up, we are going to do the couples love duets for valentine's day. and a movie we made bits of muz for is hitting some festivals. and i'm in it. singing. and i might be helping a friend with his puppet opera. perhaps playing or singing or doing voice parts... this is going to be an interesting year.

also i am going to grow my hair out. but i may keep it brown. it's mellow and easy like sunday morning.

also wes is getting good at raquetball and is turning into the incredible shrinking man.

also i am happy knitting quick knits and getting out of my rut.

Roland Jupiter 6 and DSI Tempest downtempo electronic track

"Here's a quick track I made using the Roland Jupiter 6 and a drum loop I made on the DSI Tempest. I had about 45 minutes to do this - so it's a bit rough around the edges. But to make this track I used the Split-1 mode on the Jupiter with two separate patches.

It's kind of fun to use, but I see it as a live sort of thing, kind of finding two patches that work well and then just jamming with it rather than using it in general. So I probably won't use it often. I like to have the whole panel as one patch. Anyway, it's Valentine's Day - so hopefully you have something fun to do - or you had something fun to do, whether it's by yourself or with someone else. I am going to go hang out with my wife.
