YouTube via snipz — May 31, 2010 — "Mainly modular. Soundmaster drum machine providing beats and master clock for the sequences. String sound from XTk...I will one day get the dividing/switching/sequencing right to do away with that!
Using AFG, Hertz Donut, Z3000 and AS95 oscillators going through Polivoks/A108/A101 filters. Bass sequence from A155, random lpg from Noisering/Envelator/Borg combo, 'whale' sound is Z3000 through a Polivoks filter then Sound of Shadows but the pitch being modulated by sine lfo from Vulcan going through a A137 whose symmetry/multiples being altered by the Vulcan and an MFB lfo. Phew!"

Dave of http://umop.com/ with his custom Tron keytar.
YouTube via localbandreview — May 30, 2010 — "I'm really not sure whether to classify this in the 'I only put this up for a goof' category or not, because it's actually pretty good. Nice thing about wireless equipment is you can move around, bad thing about wireless is you can really move around. Where's a cop when you need one to direct you back to the stage, oh never mind...
This was Dave Lovelace's second gig with Driven as the keyboardist and as you can see in this video he is a great addition. Dave shows off his Tron like Keytar which you really have to see in person to appreciate.
Murphy and Scarletti's was as usual a great host and they band was having a lot of fun on stage for this Memorial Day weekend. OK I have to rest now following them around wore me out!
Catch Driven in the many places in Central Connecticut that they play, it's a great night out.

KORG TRIDENT
"Eight-Voice 16-VCO 16-Memory 61-Note Polyphonic Synth The Korg Trident designed as the Flagship product for the Korg synthesiser range Officially released in 1981 but rumoured to being secretly tested as earlier as 1979!"
Circuit Bent Yamaha TG33 Vector Synthesizer
"This is not a circuit bent toy, but taps into the brain of one of the greatest synths Yamaha made.
Bends include
1. AWM extension box - use the supplied db-25 to connect to module (replaces card slot)
2. Pitch knob - replace pitch to greate some incredible granular effects. Oscillator replaces clock.
3.Pitch knob needs top right switch to be engaged. (note: to disengage pitch, you will have to power down, flip switch, power on) because it's a real brain scrambler.
5. rotary switch for #4 mods, giving you additinal 4 flavors of the mod.
This is a very deep synth. It works perfectly normally withought any mods, but shines when you begin to torture the patchpoints (sublte) and the extra clock oscillator panel mods (intense)."

Omenie Mellotronic M3000 Mellotron for iPad
"And here is the wide world's first glimpse at the Mellotronics M3000 HD. Powered by Ellatron and stuffed with genuine Mellotronics, this is initially an iPad-exclusive baby brother to Streetly's amazing M4000 tape-replay instrument, with iPhone version to follow. Streetly have for the first time made their entire tape vault available under license, and the M3000 is stuffed with voices derived from the Mellotronics tape library - *EXACTLY* the same tapes that appear on all those Beatles, Genesis, King Crimson and Zombies records."

[Update: new link via Matthew in the comments: http://cbmdmusic.com/Software.html]
[Update 4/19/12: the links appear to be dead. You can find it mirrored here].
this was a big fix, all sorts of things went nuts when I started to sort
through the bugs and assorted improvements.
*updates include*
-numeric readout for slider values in the modulation page as well as accent
in the arpeggiator page
-fixed broken sysex that was affecting most every front panel control
(thanks gavan!)
-added sound category listing
-fixed all broken modulation patchings
-big update to sysex message handling and ordering, there were some inherent
flaws in the first design
-added trigger type to all envelope pages
-added pitch source and amount in the master section
-added "constant" to source B modifier menus instead of off
-changed the get sound menu to a scrolling type display
Overall I think this build is really stable and it seems like most
everything is working. Please let me know if you run into any more troubles,
I'm ever grateful for your guys' input and help.

YouTube via attorks — May 30, 2010
"On this occasion I am accompanied by my son Mark (Channel Metalrazor02 on YouTube) who plays the Ibanez GRG 270 electric guitar using an EBow. The EBow produces a infinite sustain for a guitar string by oscillating a magnetic field causing the string to vibrate. The electric guitar uses a Boss ME-50 Guitar Multiple Effects board. Mark wanted to accompany me if he was not filmed so that's why you don't see him.
The Nodal software sequencer is were it all starts doing the bass sequence performed by the Creamware MiniMax ASB. The Doepfer MAQ16/3 sequencer and the Zoom RhythmTrak RT-323 drum machine are MIDI synchronized from Nodal. The Synthesizers.com Q960 sequencer and Q962 sequential switch are shifted by gate signals from the MAQ16/3. Row 1 of the MAQ16/3 does a 4-step sequence and drives the Ian Fritz Teezer Through-Zero VCO which saw wave is fed to the Resonant LoPass Gate. Row 2 of the MAQ16/3 does an 8-step sequence driving the self-built Modular. Solo's are performed on the Roland XP80 doing an organ sound and the Clavia Nord Lead 1. The chords are performed on the Waldorf Q Keyboard.
The full video of almost 14 minutes will be available on my website soon."

"Live improve set-up.
Equipment shown:
Two Kaossilators, two mini Kaoss pads, a KP3 Kaoss pad, a Tom Bugs WOM synth, Chimera BC8, BC9 and BC16 synths, two Zoom PFX-9003 effects, an Eventide Modfactor, an Eventide Timefactor, a Dirty-Carter E.S.G.I synth, a portable Edirol mixer and a Zoom H2 for recording. No MIDI, keyboards, laptops or desktop computers were used.
Rhythms were generated by the two Kaossilators - going through the mini KPs, bass loops were generated by the KP3. The Chimera BC16 synth (LFO and ADSR) was voltage controlling the BC9 synth and the two Eventide stompboxes. All loop syncing and BPM matching was done on the fly using 'tap-tempo' on the Korgs and Eventides.
