Dr. Bob’s SoundSchool, a 10-week nationally standardized curriculum, teaches children the science of sound through the magic of music. As part of Jam Cruise's Positive Legacy Program the Bob Moog Foundation brought Dr. Bob's Workshop to children in the Grand Turks along with Bernie Worell and Rich Vogel. The Little Phatty Stage II is a monophonic analog synthesizer manufactured by Moog Music, Inc. since 2006. Yamaha's new Mobile Music Sequencer enables composers to combine a range of phrase patterns and create musical compositions intuitively, following the flow of composition, from phrases to sections and from sections to songs.
Wherever you are, you can now sketch the outline of a composition. In addition, you can use the ingredients to delicately craft songs on a Yamaha synthesizer, or in Steinberg Cubase.
First, try loading the demo song (a number of demo songs are provided). Tap on the settings icon in the top right of the screen, select [Digital Sympathy] from the Presets under the File tab, and press the Load button to read in the song.
Create a song right away as follows:
Step 1-Create phrases
You can choose from a rich selection of 382 preset phrases (the phrase is the smallest unit in the structure of a composition). Under Phrase in the View screen, tap on a cell in which no setting has been made, then tap on the Select button on the left. To listen to a preset phrase, tap on its name. It is also possible to use real-time recordings made using the keyboard within an application, or user phrases which have been created using piano roll input. Using the powerful Loop Remix function, it is possible to divide selected phrases at specified intervals and then order them automatically insert rolls or breaks, and thus rework them into new phrases.
Step 2-Create sections
Combine multiple phrases together to create a section. Phrases are arranged in a vertical block and playback is turned on and off using the Section button at the bottom of the screen. The phrases can be managed as a single unit.
By specifying codes for individual sections, you can easily create variations. Using the Create command you can also create a succession of new sections based on the phrase that is currently being played back, which allows production to proceed smoothly.
Step 3-Create Songs
Put together complete songs by pasting together sections. This is easily accomplished by touching the Section area and then just dragging and dropping sections into the data area. Naturally, you can also input sections by recording in real time or by using the piano roll screen.

This particular MIDI example, serial number 1989, is in very excellent all original condition and includes; the original owner's operation manual, the original sustain pedal, the original rescue cassette tape with factory presets, as well as, the original Anvil ATA flight case. This is a particularly excellent original and intact specimen with all of the original accessories. It is a one owner instrument in excellent shape that was actually used in both the film and soundtrack for Fast Times at Ridgemont High. so take advantage of this opportunity to get a particularly fine example.
This Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 features: the upgraded MIDI in/out port, 5-voice polyphony with 2 oscillators per voice, modular LFO, 24dB lowpass filter with resonance, VCA with ADSR, 120 memory patches, and 61 keys.
Purchased originally in Los Angeles, it has not been toured nor gigged, and has always been pampered and appreciated by the original owner. It does exhibit some slight superficial wear, but is generally nicely preserved.
The original Anvil case's protective foam is deteriorating, but it can be replaced by the factory for a very reasonable price."

NAMM 2013: Steady State Fate PTG Low Pass Gate Persussion

"Really quick video of the PTG as a LPG doing some percussion.
Left side (PTG A) is in gate mode and being used as a VCA. A FM'd Triangle wave from the VCO2-RM is the source.
That signal is fed to a uHC filter which is being controlled by the PTG envelope from the right side (PTG B). PTG B is also in gate mode and is providing independent envelope control over filter frequency.
Pressure Points provides the gate source.
Sorry for the crappy editing! Just wanted to get this out to interested parties before we leave for NAMM =)"

"VCO for main pitch. can be controlled by knob or optical theremin (optical theremin changes pitch in reaction to light any kind of light.) has lfo 1 for modulation and lfo 2 for more modulation. it has a high octave with volume and a low octave with volume so you can mix the seperate octaves together this act also as your main volume control. this thing makes crazy sounds for days and makes a great addition to whatever artilary you are already using"
