"Frac version of the Fonitronik Voltage Controlled Ring Modulator"

I realize I don't have a Frac label.  I created a eurorack label a while back for posts that focused on eurorack systems in general vs. the focus being on a particular manufacturer.  I didn't create a Frac label as when you saw a Frac system you could easily identify just a few brands.  I realize now that if you want to sort by Frac only, there is no way to really do it.  You have to know the brands and then you have to check the label for each.  To give Frac more exposure, I decided to create a Frac label with this post.   Two popular formats to look at in the archives for Frac are Blacet and Paia.

On a side note, I do have a Modcan label for that format and Cynthia which was popular in the format but now does most formats.  I also have MOTM/Synthtech, but for Moog/Dotcom/Moon Modular and the like, I still have the labels separate.    We'll see how it goes, but for now Frac and Eurorack will have their labels.

One of the best sounding emulations imo. It's uncanny. So want this for the iPad.

"The PTG makes a great modular - stomp box - modular adaptor.

Patch details:
Set VACTROL DRIVE mode to "ON"
Patch source signal into PTG VCA Input A
For +/-5V signals - set STEP and DAMP to about 10-11 O'clock to start
Patch +OUT to your stomp box
Patch stomp box output to PTG IN A
Adjust makeup gain with the GAIN knob
Patch POST GAIN to your favorite mixer or VCA etc.
That's it!

The video starts with just the raw output from the PDO to the TBVCA which is modulated by the MMVCA.

The above patch is then performed and the effect from the stomp box is switched on/off
Have fun!"

Audiobus SDK Goes Public - Free to iOS Developers

"Revolutionary Inter-app Audio Routing Platform Audiobus Makes SDK Public

Melbourne, Australia, March 20th 2013

Audiobus Pty Ltd, developers of the revolutionary Audiobus inter-app audio routing app for iPad and iPhone are today making the Audiobus SDK publicly available for all iOS developers. The public release comes after having reached over 100 compatible applications during the SDK’s closed beta.
