Not every module has a bypass. Sometimes that’s lame. Not every source goes into a console with a mute button. Sometimes you want that. Sometimes you want to audition some filters. Send your VCO to some and decide what sounds best. This module allows you to do all these things. Times four.

Input your signal and use the three position switch to pass the signal directly to the output, mute the signal, or send it to another destination, such as a filter or effect, and then return the signal to the module. The outputs of each channel are normalized via switching jacks to the input below them so it is possible to input a signal to channel 1 and send it to four separate destinations via each channels send.

"Let's make a shimmer reverb effect and apply it to a pad sound on the Behringer Deepmind 12 synth. The shimmer effect was created by Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois. It involves a placing a pitch shifter in the feedback chain of a reverb. The important thing is setting a high decay time on the reverb and a +1 octave pitch shift on the pitch shifter. The result is a high pitched sustained tone that rings out as you hold notes which creates this lovely texture."

BEHRINGER DEPPMIND 12 is a 12 voice analog polyphonic synthesizer.

I must admit that I had my reservation after having heard all the demos circulating in the web. The synth appeared to be soft und dull. And srue it is not the grittiest but it has a nice an sweet sound and seems to be very adpted to ambient and pad based music in general -- but that is only my first impression.
What definitely sucks is the keyboard. On some keays there is sometimes a little resistance to overcome as you can find it very old pianos and since you cannot predict when and where you will encouter it it is irritating. Also the edges of the keys scratch your skin when touched more than they should."

"For sale here is a rare OSCar Oxford Synthesiser Company. This OSCar has midi and is 100% fully functional. It came just back from servicing and plays perfectly. Cosmetically it's in excellent shape. It sounds AMAZING, with a huge set of features for the time, including programmable harmonic waveforms, patch memory, sequencer, an awesome arpeggiator, duophonic capabilities (yes you can play two notes at once) along with one of the best filters I have ever played, allowing for LP, BP, HP, overdrive capabilities. Huge bass, leads, effects unlike anything else. One of my favorite monophonic synthesizers of all time, & I've played them all, from Minimoogs to Arp Odysseys to Synton Syrinx. If I had to describe the sound I would say it's instant Boards of Canada, smooth, bubbly, analog with an aggressive Aphex Twin side that can get gritty & rough."

"Rare and unique compact Paia modular synth in original folding case with handle. Most likely built from one of their kits in the late 70's or early 80's. (The included guide has a copyright date of 1976) I bought this a couple years ago as a project but never got around to it and no longer have the space. The synth turns on and the LED lights up but I do not have the proper cables so am not able to test everything in depth. Therefore this is listed 'As Is'. Tascam 388 - Fenix Modular Synth - Dynacord VRS23

"I was setting up my Tascam 388 (or Studio 8) and decided to record a small sequence I had setup. The fenix patch was playing 3 parts, the Kick and 2 sequences. I recorded that in one take anonto 3 tracks and overdubbed the Waldorf XTk twice. Effects are an analog delay pedal and the Dynacord VRS23 for reverb.
I did it mainly to test the 388, so the tune is dead simple, but hopefully it shows how nice the 388 records. Enjoy!"

"This is a very rare Rev 2 version with the sought after SSM chips. It's in great shape and fully functional. Huge warm analog tone, maybe the most classic of all the polysynths, the Rev 2 is THE Prophet 5 to get as it has a warmer tone than the Rev 3 versions with the Curtis Chips. I have both the 3.3 and Rev 2 side by side and there is a noticeable difference in sound. The Rev 2 makes the 3.3 sound like a more obedient younger sibling."
