'Stranger Things' Theme - Played Live, Roland Boutiques, Roland Aira, Korg EMX2

"A tribute to the netflix Tv series 'Stranger Things' not 100% accurate but near enough for my fumbling ability! and it is played live!

Since the whole world and his dog seem to be doing this theme I thought I would have a go at it, and I've not see anyone using the boutiques yet for this theme track.

There's a few clicks at the end due to cranking the sequence up on the ENV mod on the JX-03, we'll call it realism!

All three boutiques, used, 2 for sequencing and one played live - also used is the System 1,T B-3 & Korg EMX2

"Today, Roland celbrates the 33 years of the TR909. I never played on this machine but today I got the luck to try the roland tr606, so I decided to make a little video, with a great 303 acid bassline on Patchblocks. A few transition fails, but great pleasure to jam!

Strymon Postpones the Generalissimo Eurorack Module

"At the NAMM trade show earlier this year, we gave a sneak preview of our first Eurorack prototype, the Generalissimo Four Head dTape Echo. Our experience at NAMM was overwhelmingly positive, with an enthusiastic response to the sounds and real-time playability of Generalissimo. In fact, our typical experience hanging out with modular enthusiasts as they played Generalissimo was that they got really into playing it, said they really wanted it, and then started asking us if there was a way we could make it also do this or that! That wish list of feature suggestions, based on what modular synth artists told us about how they wanted to use Generalissimo in their modular setups, led us to the decision to take the time to rethink the feature set and to rework the user interface, including additional sound sculpting options, a whole lot more CV control, and assignable CV inputs for more flexible control.

We’re a very small team, and our development cycle includes a lot of research, discussion, deliberation, and testing. This means that our entry into the modular world will be delayed until 2017. We also came to realize that the name Generalissimo has very negative connotations in Spain. We want to be inclusive to all of our customers, so in addition to changing the scope of features, we will also change the name.

We have never before announced a product that hasn’t eventually shipped to customers. For those that were anticipating a summer 2016 release of Generalissimo, we are sorry that it won’t happen. But we are hard at work on a platform that will greatly improve on the Generalissimo prototype that we showed earlier this year. Thanks for your patience and support."

Thought it was kind of interesting that Nile's picture is on the cover of the manual rather than the EPS. For those not familiar with Nile, via Wikipedia:

Cimmerian Caves Dual Echo/Vibrato/Chorus + Fuzz Demo 2

"Cimmerian Caves, the newest product from Artificial Noise, is a dual Echo/Vibrato/Chorus effects unit with Fuzz Distortion.

Dark, warbly and tape-like. Dense modulating echo's bouncing from ear to ear. Thick, wooly tube-like distortion. Most definitely NOT a sterile clean delay, but warm and full of character.

When the poet Homer talked of Cimmeria, he called it the land of fog and darkness at the edge of Hades. Artificial Noise has taken those words as inspiration for the Cimmerian Cave effects unit.

In the unit are two Echo "Blocks" that can be either Echo/Delay (approx. 925ms max delay time), Vibrato, Chorus or some combination of above. Each block can run in parallel and panned Left to Right, making for great Stereophonic effects, or they can be run in series (Echo 1 into Echo 2). Along with the two effects blocks there is also a Fuzz effect, which runs through both blocks. Cimmerian Caves is a hybrid of analog and digital circuitry, utilizing both worlds for maximum effect.

Cimmerian Caves works great with synthesizers or any line level instrument. And yes, it also works great with guitar and bass too!

No audio processing (effects, eq, compression, etc) was used in the video except Cimmerian Caves.
