"I purchased a Korg Volca Keys this weekend at the excellent Nerd Audio analog shop in Chicago. really having a blast with this and the monotribe, so easy to cook up some 90s alt rock loops.
Korg, if you're reading - how about a little volca mixer/sampler to connect together all your other fun boxes?
Volca Keys is playing through the Monotribe filter. no effects except some mild compression inside the box. note the stuttering sync - i think i've got some issues with clocking, but i also sort of enjoy the glitches."

The picture seems to come from Dieter Doepfer himself , the latest panel design comes with new features like mute , invert , and left/right buttons for each row that can shift a row one step to the left or right.
This is probably the final design, and forms a complete trigger sequencer with the A-157-2 (8 separate trigger output module) and the A-157-3 (basic controller)..."

"Monophonic synthesizer Altair-231(plant Estradin Zhitomir) is designed for playback of sounds of various character - from simulation of natural sounds of the instruments to achieve complex synthesized electronic voices, effects, percussioni of sounds and so the Synthesizer has a 4 octave keyboard, wheel pitch, controls front panel settings, exit to the phones, the entrance to the pedals. Consists of four main blocks of synthesizing sound Generators, a Mixer Filter Circuit.
Synthesizing part is based on 3-setpoint generators, each with an independent parameters registers, waveform, frequency modulation. There is a generator of white and pink noise. The filter of low frequencies from main parameters allows tracking keyboard. Synth includes a feature portamento with speed adjustment. Here is a guitar effect and drone synth thinggy i've been working on. It is build in a slendertone muscle workout device. I posted the guitar effect in use on a video some time ago. I added a pitchtracker to that and a vco. The vco can be used when there is not a guitar etc. pluged so it can make sounds by itself.
It is hell of fun. For some reason i always get a similar sound than in the beastie boys track intergalatic when i use the vco."

"Short demo of the Aion Modular Lowpass Filter. A filter module designed to sound like the vintage MOOG Modular lowpass filter (NOT like Minimoog!). In essence it looks like a Eurorack version of the 5U Club of the Knobs module - soundwise, I cannot tell.
I have used 3 (!) Macbeth VCOs here to feed the filter with equivalent powerful basic sound (2 sawtooth, 1 pulse w/mod). The filter does like strong VCA amplification to boost the sound. Some echo/reverb from Lexicon. I think it is an awesome filter and I can't wait for its sister modules to be ready :)"

Mode Machines SL1 - Old recording. I only had it a couple of days before returning it due to a fault (it was secondhand), but it produced more bottom-end than anything else I've owned so far. This is subjective, but for the sake of reference, it took my Minitaur to the cleaners! Most of the low frequencies will be lost in the video compression, but I liked the sound of it, so here it is. Caked in lashings of fatty, unhealthy reverb, as always - I don't demo gear just for the benefit of manufacturers, or buyers even, it's mostly just to amuse myself."

The two aluminum boats are old originals, fitted in this really nice vintage case, its lid is included. Professional switching PSU, working voltage 110 volts.
Modules are old originals and ALL come in near mint conditions and work perfectly, this is a truly magical instrument..
There are huge sound possibilities from the ingenious mind of Donald Buchla. This is a truly amazing system for making every type of special effects, space drones, cool rhythmic sequences and ethereal textures.
The 259 onboard is mega rare because they are early genuine examples. In the past some were sold with dubious origin and were half clones, passed off as originals.
Serious offers only. It’s not cheap as the original modules are extremely rare and consisting of components of the highest quality (old US military parts), and in my opinion it is very hard to find better sound quality. Some old original banana and audio patch leads are included.
Some trades in parts will be taken into consideration only around EMS, old modulars like Moog, Polyfusion, Korg PS series, Arp.
I can ship worldwide and local pick up is welcome."
