Update new pics of the inside via this auction.

"The background: this synth is in no way functioning. I was told by the previous owner that I purchased it from that he rescued it from a barn fire and it hasn't been working for a while. Over time he had a few of the modules repaired to fully working condition and ended up selling those off but never got around to the ones that are still contained in the modular 10 case. This means that 1. this is NOT a complete Modular 10 system and 2. this is NOT functioning. The modules that were fixed up and sold off were replaced by the previous owner by Synthesizers.com modules, which I would assume are working but cannot guarantee. I am not in a rush to sell this auction, so please don't send comments arguing about the price - it is what it is.

Included in the listing are the following modules:
911 R.A. Moog Envelope Generator
907 R.A. Moog Fixed Filter Bank
904-A R.A. Moog Voltage Controlled Low Pass Filter
902 R.A. Moog Voltage Controlled Amplifier
903-A R.A. Moog Random Signal Generator
910 R.A. Moog Power Supply
901 R.A. Moog Voltage Controlled Oscillator
Moog Model 10 bottom panel includes a Mixer, Reversible Attenuators, Controller Outputs, Trunk Lines and Power modules
Additionally, a Synthesizers.com Q124 Multiples Module"

Verbos Electronics - Voltage Multistage

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
via this auction

"In theory, a sophisticated enough control voltage source can replace all of the control voltage sources in a modular system. That includes saw, square, pulse, triangle LFOs, AR, AD, ADSR, multistage envelopes, tracking generators, quantizers and of course sequencers.

It is not practical to actually replace all of these with one module type, but the Verbos Electronics Voltage Multistage can create any of these control signals.

As a sequencer, it has switchable slides and gates on each stage. Gate are output musically to match slides and stepped stages. As a multistage envelope, any stage can be the sustain. Stage "TIME" can be voltage controlled.

The "ref." output is a falling ramp the length of the entire stage. This is usable as a decay envelope the length of the stage.

When the "strobe" input is pulsed, the setting of the "analog" control and CV input selects the stage. This is usable as a reset or to jump to any specific stage of the sequencer."

Verbos Electronics - Complex Oscillator

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
via this auction

"In the West Coast philosophy of synthesis, one oscillator modulating another is a classic way of creating rich timbres. Voltage control of the modulation and of the waveshape is essential for evolving the sounds from whatever CV sources.

The Verbos Electronics Complex Oscillator is configured as a master oscillator with an voltage controlled waveshaper and a modulation oscillator that can be used for FM or AM.

The waveshape of the modulation can be set to triangle, square or saw, each with a dedicated output. Modulation amount can be voltage controlled with a reversing attenuator on the CV input.

The master oscillator has dedicated outputs for triangle, square and sine waves. The master output can blend from sine to square to saw to folded sine all from voltage control with reversing attenuators on all of the CV inputs.

The oscillators are analog triangle cores with discrete transistor exponential converters. Each has inputs for linear and exponential FM. Both have 1 volt/octave trimmed CV inputs as well."

Verbos Electronics - Amplitude & Tone Controller

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

"The Amplitude & Tone controller is a totally discrete VCA with simultaneous exponential and linear CV input. It also contains an all discrete, Vactrol based VCF with diode limited resonance. It also has a discrete input gain stage. Careful balancing of the input gain and resonance control sets the mix of self oscillation and input signal, distorted on the VCA input if desired. There are no ICs in the signal path."

Innerclock Systems Grid-Lock Now Available for Download

via Innerclock Systems

"Grid-Lock is a useful utility when used in conjunction with Sync-Gen II allowing accurate delay/offset calculation between your externally synchronised hardware and the DAW quantise grid with minimal fuss.

There are two separate causes of this delay:-

1: External Hardware Start Lag – Slave Sync External Start Lag is the time it takes for any hardware sequencing device to respond to external tempo-sync and begin playback.

2: DAW/Audio Interface Driver Processing Delay – All computer audio interfaces and audio software processing applications take a certain amount of time to get sound in and out of the computer. Depending on the computer specification and hardware audio interface driver design, you will have various options to adjust this processing time using the audio driver buffer value – less means faster real-time I/O processing but this pushes the computer to prioritise audio throughput above other tasks and it will eventually trip over itself and start to glitch and drop audio. Larger Buffer settings work well for mix down where real-time soft synth playing latency is less of an issue. It also means large track counts and heavy plug-in use will not compromise the audio playback. However, there will always be some DAW I/O processing delay and getting an accurate value is indispensable for creating rhythmically tight productions."

Buchla 100 Synthesizer Modules

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

" Three Buchla modules including one of a kind hand made Lag module.

First 2 up are an original Buchla 124 patchboard module which has been coupled to a custom patchboard module that converts signals to RCA jacks from the 1/8 jacks making it easier to interface with newer amps and other equipment. After some recent repairs all jacks and wires are intact. There is one jack that looks like it was designed to feed a wire through it so I have left it untouched. It has various labels that I thought best not to remove, they are fun to look at and imagine who may have made them.

Also included is a Buchla 100 type Lag controller module custom built.

This is a very interesting module for the Buchla 100 modular system. It came from a fully functional Buchla synthesizer and is totally compatible with the other 100 series modules. The cool thing is it seems to be a one of a kind custom module. There was no Lag controller in the standard line up of modules in either the 100, 200 or 200e series, so apparently some one had one made. It's very similar to the other modules from the system, same connectors, etc and will add a totally unique sound ability to any 100 system. I purchased the modular system in the late 70's in about 10 year old condition, so this module was made around the same time as the standard modules which gives it that great vintage analog sound. Also interesting is that I purchased the Buchla modular from a studio on Bleeker st, NYC, where Buchla himself used to teach and build beta modules, so who knows. It is very rare to find a custom vintage module for these systems and will turn any Buchla modular into a truly unique machine. This is a one of a kind item.

The creator of the module definitely took it seriously. It's made of similar materials as the other modules with a brushed stainless steel plate. The connectors and knobs are measured out evenly and are professional labled. It's in decent condition for it's age, some small scratches, but the electronics are intact, pots turn smoothly and appear operational. One of the knobs was missing when I bought the synth and I replaced both with new ones to make it functional. It worked fine on my modular years ago with no need to connect to power as the pots and caps are just delaying the signal. I no longer have the modular system, so there is no way to test the module again. It is sold as is as a vintage collectable. Serious bidders only please. Buyer pays actual shipping and insurance."

"Great little analog synth from the 70's,

Has a great built in spring reverb and flanger

This synth also has aftertouh which makes it extremely versatile

Lovely sounding filter which can also be moded to have an input

The synth itself is in very nice cosmetic condition for its age,
the only bit of damage is a missing cap for Trombone/Tube Slider but the slider is still fully functional (pictured)

Electronically the synth is fully working other than the flanger working intermittently when turned on, this is most likely a loose connection"

Light Controlled Toy Organ Circuit With Power Starve And LFO

Published on Jun 23, 2014 randalllundy·23 videos

via this auction

"Based off of the schematic for the 'toy organ' I have built this handmade electronic musical instrument, called 'The Wench'.

It has a series of 8 buttons, which are not in any particular musical scale. There is a photocell to the right of these buttons that can control the overall pitch when selected. You can also switch to the low frequency oscillator for siren like effects.

There is a "starve" knob that controls how much voltage the circuit is getting. For "normal" operation, have this knob turned all the way up. When you turn it down it changes the character of the sounds dramatically. Use it in conjunction with the LFO, even if the LFO is not switched on, for interesting effects.

There are 2 body contacts to the left of the buttons. These effect the pitch of the notes when you touch them both at the same time.

The Wench has a built in speaker, and a 1/4" mono output jack so you can process it's sounds or plug it into your amp, mixer, etc.

Runs on 1 9v battery.

Housed inside a sturdy cigar box with rubber feet added to the underside for grip.

A great toy for experimental musicians, as it lends itself more to "noise" rather than "music". Use the power starve, light sensor, body contacts and LFO to get crazy sounds from sputtering sqeaking and bleeps to screams, lasers, squeals and video game sounds. The built in speaker is very loud and the ultraviolet leds will pulsate with the sounds!"

"Experimenting with my latest Frequency Central & Steffensen modules.

Hard at work are:
Frequency Central's
Loop/Env Generator, Trans Europa and S/H Noise
modules irritating The Maths as it tries to be cool.
FC's Continuum Phase Shifter is getting rattled by the other
bits in it's range.
The Frequency Central SystemX Oscillator provides arpeggiated
bass duties going through the FC Raging Bull, not forgetting the
FC range of mental LFOs Waverunner and Ultrawave also
confusing matters, and really pissing off the Doepfer Xtreme filter.

It's also worth mentioning the main VCOs at the heart of this
mayhem are a pair of Steffensen Oscillarps, having their FMs and PWMs insulted by FC, along with it's ADSR
companion The Envelarp.
They are all being pumped through the new god of all VCAs, the mighty Arplifier.
A new module based on the ARP2600 VCA.

Somewhere in there a Synthrotek EKO is trying hard to justify
being in such good company, and the Doepfer A-147 LFO is making something move a bit.

Coming soon: Doepfer Wave Multiplier and Spring Reverb!

This is self indulgent shite. Only I will enjoy watching this. :) xx"
