"Fantastic animated light-up Moog sign. Measuring 31" by 14", this sign lights up beautifully and the animated pattern bursts with great color.
This sign is all original and in good working condition. The finish on the aluminum top and sides is slightly scratched (as would be expected) the finish on the face of the sign is very good with very minimal scratching that is not noticeable when the sign is on. This is an extremely rare piece of music/advertising memorabilia."
"Cosmetically- Nothing is ever mint in my opinion and this one is no exception. It is in exceptional cosmetic condition in my opinion, but please check out the photos and judge for yourself. The original wood cabinet was pretty beat up so it was replaced with a new, cherry wood cabinet. The metal housing was also professionally repainted and textured (not spray painted like the others I've seen lately).
Internally- Apart from any repairs, it's been disassembled and cleaned, all sliders/panel controls cleaned, it has a new SPSU power supply (this drastically reduces heat & weight), the CC+ Midi upgrade installed (please read the specifications on the rhodeschroma.com website), all electrolytic capacitors have been replaced (entire unit + voice cards), several trim pots replaced, and it has been fully calibrated. The original factory sounds are retained with the CC+. This will be updated as much more servicing was done!"

"Just a quick play with one of the loops from the Reverb drum machine giveaway inside Arturia's CMI recreation. Similar to what I love about old hardware samplers, sometimes the results once interpreted by the sampler and pitched around are quite unexpected."
"As per my usual, I didn't have any idea of what I was going to perform until the day before the performance, but for what it's worth, here it is! ;-) I had fun none the less and a big thank you to Mollie, Bradley, Chris, Philip, Justin, James, Kevin, everyone else who helped out, all the other great performers , and big hugs to the wonderful members of the audience!

As per the MOTS tradition, I only used a modular synthesizer, you can get a good look at it at 2:35. I had three stereo patches on the modular, a sequenced background and then two different lead voices I controlled with an Arturia KeyStep keyboard and Mutable Instruments Yarns MIDI to CV/Gate module:
1) The background patch was the most complex, it was a four voice shift registered sequence featuring an Erica Synths Black Clock, a Division6 SQ816 sequencer, a VPME T43 precision adder, a Synth Tech E102 shift register, an Instruo Quad Performance Quantizer with micro keyboard, 4 Synth Tech E330 VCOs, a Modcan Quad LFO, a 2hp clock divider/multiplier, a Doepfer quad envelop generator, a Xaoc Devices stereo mixer, and a Strymon Engineering Magneto delay/reverb.
2) The rich fat typical synth voice was a Modcan Triple VCO into a Synth Tech E440 low pass filter along with an Erica Synths EG and VCA for voicing and an Audio Damage reverb module and then finally to a Circuit Abbey mixer.
3) The plucky voice was simply a Mutable Instruments Rings into Clouds and then to a second Circuit Abbey mixer. I had the patch set up in stereo where the output switched sides every time I played a note but unfortunately there was a problem with one of the cables so only every other note was heard! Whoopsie! ;-)"
"I only had the Omnichord for a single evening, so this isn't the full performance video I would have liked to make. As usual, though, all sounds you hear in the track originated from the OM-300 and were recorded to a DAW, where compression, EQ, reverb, delay and chorus were added as required. I sampled individual drum hits from slowed-down OM-300 rhythms and processed them, to allow me to build fresh beats rather than using the rhythms found on the OM-300 itself.
"Named after the famous Philip K. Dick novel, Scanner Darkly is one of the most dedicated coders in the monome community. He got his start creating the Orca firmware for the monome modular devices, but really caught his stride working on updates to the Teletype - a coding module that features an exposed scripting environment. By adding a lot of new scripting functions (including a complete set of grid support tools), Scanner has made the Teletype a much more exciting for a lot of users.
In our chat, Scanner Darkly talks about his background learning coding, his interaction with electronic music and computer, and the variety of opportunities that he is currently pursuing. One of the 'soon-to-release' things includes some VCV rack work, so a lot more people will get to engage with his work. I think we all have something to look forward to enjoying!

"Moog Sub Phatty in immaculate condition with heavy duty aluminium flight case. An awesome sounding mono synth with patch memory. Comes with quick guide, full manual and power lead.
The flight case has been repurposed from an army tool case with DIY adjustments to some of the interior foam. It does a great job and is a nice snug fit that is extremely road worthy (even has a lock). There are some stickers on the lid that could easily be removed if necessary."
"For sale is an insanely rare EMS Vocoder System 3000. A once in a lifetime chance to own one of these? We think so. In our 10+ years of synthesizer hunting, this is the first ever 3000 we have encountered. The 2000 is quite rare, but the 3000 even more so. We've owned almost every major vocoder made (Roland VP330, SVC-350, Korg VC10, EMS 1000/2000, Sennheiser VSM201 (3 total!), Moog Vocoder etc) and to our ears the EMS is the best for dialing in intelligible vocals with synthesized tones. It just sounds excellent, easy to use and all around fantastic vocoder. The EMS 3000 adds level controls for 16 bands which makes it incredibly useful for dialing in more specific tones.
This unit is fully functional, recently serviced and in excellent shape. Don't pass this one up!"

The VM-1 is a complete voice module with an oscillator, multi mode filter, amplifier and two different envelope generators.
The OSCILLATOR can produce seven basic waveforms. The pitch is controlled manually by knobs COARSE and FINE and by attenuable CV1 and CV2 inputs. The pitch CV inputs are carefully trimmed for 1 Volt/octave sensitivity.
The pulse width can be controlled by knob 'PULSE WIDTH' and by external signals inserted to attenuable input "PWM". The SYNC is provided by an external signal to input SYNC.
The Multi Mode Filter consist of an audio mixer (MIX), filter and modulation controllers for cutoff, q-peak and output morph. The MIX control mixes two signals or allows ring modulation; oscillators output and external audio signal (AUDIO). The MMF is a four pole multi mode filter. The low pass, band pass and high pass mode are mixed at filters output by morphing function; knob MODE MORPH and controllable by an external CV signal MORPH and outgoing level is attenuated by a voltage controlled amplifier."
"Studio Electronics Midimini synthesizer, essentially a rackmount version of a Moog Minimoog Model D. It's the best of both worlds, providing a smaller easy to transport rack version of a Model D synth along with Midi and a few added features. This unit is fully functional and in good shape, front is very clean mint, with some signs of wear on the top/bottom/sides of the unit. Sounds absolutely killer, one of the best for phat leads and basses."
"The Hardware Challenge this weekend was to explore a particular mode. Ionic, Dorian, Phrygian, Mixolydian... I built a module a while time ago for my ribbon controller that DOES some modes, so this little jam is based on the Dorian mode. The rest of the arpeggios and the bass line are just sequencers playing notes tuned to the notes my ribbon controller could do."
