"With recently obtaining the Squarp Instruments Hapax to act as my main standalone sequencer, I've been diving deep into all the functions it offers. This is the first track I've made putting together a number of items such as automation, assign controls, creative MIDI effects (register, arpoly, etc.), BPM elasticity, and adjustable start/stop loop lengths. I've added notes in the video explaining some key points for the track and additional equipment used, but below is a more detailed list of the sound sources:

Multigrain Resampling | Recycling and granulizing sounds to create ambient textures

"In this video, we explore the resampling feature on Multigrain to create ambient textures.

Resampling on Multigrain allows you to internally record the audio from the output of the module - so you can capture your granular sounds, morphing, modulation and audio input as a sample to re-granulize as a new sound.

Matt aims to answer the question: 'what would happen if you resample up to eight times to fill all eight sound buttons?' These patches feature Sealegs, Swells and external sounds through Jellymix and MEMS Mic 3U."

A classic sounding 'dark hall' reverb. This reverb sounds like a natural space, which makes it perfect for lots of different applications. But of course, being Swells, we can bend it and shape it for some more experimental patches too.

Asterion is our 'gateway to the stars' - based on the architecture of a certain digital reverb unit from the 1980s. It brings out the lush sound of the original, but expands its capabilities through the medium of Swells.

This is an exploration of Swells model Z-1: Buckets

A matrix of BBD Delays that create a dark, noisy reverb. Oozing with character and grit, this reverb is great for complimenting all kinds of audio material, as demonstrated in these patches.
