I must say it's very versatile....Some easy tweaking from scratch and in the end of the clip some vocoder presets... For info about my album 'Little things...' check my record label Angel Dusted Music: http://angeldusted.webs.com/Site/Ange... or http://www.last.fm/music/Alien+Robot+... It's available as a download (free) or as a hard copy."
"Listening to Cowboy and the Vocoder (1 or 10) acetate dubs. b/w MMM demo number four.
The record is a thick aluminum disk with a coat of dub lacquer. It was a heated cut on a modified 1949 Presto cutting lathe using fairchild and ampex equipment for the mastering and RIAA curve."

I liked it so much that the pc it is running in was initially built a few years ago just to be able to run Yava2 without breaking a sweat. It is a Pentium D805, one of the few CPUs at the time that could be overclocked to 4ghz. Not necessary though."

"Ensoniq FIZMO RealTime TransWave Synthesizer ~space machine! :)) here is the linkage for your easy journey :-))..
I just made this little demo of my FIZMO that im trying to sell for only $899. I recorded this demo by laying a handful of tracks with the FIZMO keyboard and nothing else.....just foolin around really, but havin fun.
i wanted to give you an idea of what this beast sounds like....amazing in the right hands :)) if you are a sound designer, a soundscaper, a cinematic soundtrack creator, then you need my FIZMO now!! go and buy as fast as you can cuz it wont last long at $899. its a steal for one this nice. AND for all you FIZMO heads out there, this puppy HAS the proper Voltage Regulator upgrade repair done by TheSoniq, the dude who used to work for Ensoniq before they went under. AND i have used the proper Power Adapter from the original Nintendo machine with all the proper specs. so, in other words, YES, this machine has all the electro necessities handled by me. i humbly advise you to not purchase a FIZMO if it hasnt been upgraded electronically. These came from Ensoniq with an under power Voltage Regulator as well as a wrong-speced external power supply. SO, you need the eletro upgrades. Check with all the FIZMO experts on line and you will see :)
This puppy has plenty of miles left in it and sounds like it was made in another world. its very Orphean! :) Aye!"
"A first jam with my latest project for the Lemur. It is a generative sequencer with nodes controlled by two cyclic waveforms that trigger notes as they move through defined zones. I have a little control over it as I can set the scale the notes are played in and which ones are able to be triggered. After that it's all generated by the interplay of the waveforms. This composition is very rough, this was only the first couple of hours of playing with it after developing the template."
"Doepfer MAQ16/3 controlling Yamaha TX-7 and Korg MS-20 through Roland SDE-1000 digital delay.
Row 1 is controlling note on TX-7
Row 2 is controlling velocity of TX-7
Row 3 is controlling gate of MS-20 for "drum" (actually CV-out controlling Trig in because no control over MAQ gate :P)"
YouTube via TheSynthFreq "Hi. This is a new composition written 3.2.10. I wrote this song on a Yamaha DX-7 at an awesome vintage synth store (a heavenly place too!) here in Austin Tx. I had the chance to play the DX-7 and the awesome Roland Jupiter-6. This song is inspired by the classic "Full Tines" sound of the famous Yamaha DX-7 synthesizer. Synths used: Roland D-50- synth patch Yamaha Motif-6: DX-7 patch ("dark DX-7") Bass Drums Roland Alpha Juno-1: TSF's E-guitar patch This song was recorded at 120bpm, real time rec. No editing, computers or vsts used. Just track by track.

YouTube via hotchk155 "Somewhere between the Omnichord and the Stylophone lies this thing... simple but suprisingly effective... a PIC16F688 microcontroller, 2 shift registers IC's, 36 switches and a bunch of wire. The buttons select major/minor/maj7/min7/7/dim/aug chords based on any root note, and you "strum" across 3-4 octaves of notes from the chord by touching bits of exposed wire with a "stylus". The output is all MIDI (circuit makes no sound by itself) and Reason is being used here for sounds. I will post a link in the notes for this clip to a schematic (when I can make one) and the PIC source code

You can find more info including samples on the Benjolin here.
"The Benjolin is a ‘noise box’ that is ‘bent by design’, meaning that it always has a definite amount of unpredictability while it is still intuitive to play. The Benjolin features two eighteen-octave range voltage controlled oscillators that drive a ‘rungler’ circuit, circuitry that in essence uses a special interference technique feeding back into the oscillators to force them into wild chaotic behaviour.
A special slightly chaotic filter is both excited and modulated by the signals from the rungler circuitry processes, producing sounds between fat drones to grungy noise havoc."

The GS1 has eight operators per voice but these are arranged as four modulator/carrier pairs. The sound "strips" have settings for four operators on each side, so you can mix the different presets.
