ARP Solus
"The Solus is an awesome portable analog monosynth with the delicious late-model Arp filter. It has two sync-able oscillators, and ring modulation. Additionally there are jacks for full CV/Gate control."
Roland MC-202 with semi modular modifications
MC-202 with Analogue Solutions mod
"Personally the most useful part of this mod is the added cv and gate inputs. These inputs bypass the 202's cpu. By doing this you can then send cv and gate into the machine without the lag an unmodified unit would experience. This means you can control this beast very easily with a cv based synth or even over midi with a Kenton. You can also patch the second channels cv and gate out into the channel that is already playing allowing for more than one sequence to be usable."
Rare Moog Modular CP control panel
"Rare Moog Modular CP control panel. Has passive High and Low Pass filters along with Control Voltage and Trigger outputs. Several light surface scratches but otherwise functional."
Anyone ID this one?

EXP1 DIY Expansion Box for the MFB Kraftzwerg

(click for more)
"My DIY expansion box for the Kraftzwerg. It features 3 multiples and 4 attenuators.
Since this is a passive box, not PSU is required. It adds some missing features to the MFB. Total cost for parts including box: $20 (+6 hours labor). A similar box using Doepfer modules would have cost about $225."

Update 3/11/12: pic of the underside added. You'll also find a link to the schematics and additional details in the comments below.
Rack Mount Casio SK-1 Circuit-bent glitch synth
"Circuit-Bent Casio SK-1 professionally modified Diabolical Devices
The Diabolical Modified Casio SK-1 circuit-bent glitch monster from Diabolical Devices. Create vast sound-sacapes, unique synth sounds and total chaos, all packed inside your favorite childhood toy. The Casio SK-1 is loaded with original features, sampling capabilities, and great sounds (for what it was....)
Diabolical Devices aka Class A Electronics, LLC is a leader in Professionally Modified Synthesizer and Audio Equipment, Expert Repair Services, and has a full line of Hand-Wired Tubes Amplifiers and Effects (Diabolical Amplification). Their work has been featured at NAMM, art galleries, music videos, countless tech blogs, and used by musicians all over the world, professionals and enthusiasts alike. The circuit-bending and synth mods are the work of head-technician James Gramling who has spent the last 12 years in professional audio service and electronics prototyping. Check out the new www.circuit-bent.com for updated specs, custom work questions, and new releases from Diabolical Devices
Rack MIDI Casio SK-1 Circuit bent by Diabolical Devices:
Here we have an awsome custom SK-1 by Diabolical Devices it has been cut down and modified to fit into a standard 19" rack and is about 4-5 rack spaces wide (top to bottom). This is a custom modification and will not be duplicated (by us....) In addition to custom rack ears two plates were custom made to house modifications.
The first plate which is located were the speaker once was consist of 1/4" main audio output, 1/8" sampling input, MIDI input (www.highlyliquid.com) and 1/8" individual outputs for Drums, Bass, and Lead, when one of these jacks is used that voice is removed from the main mix, these jacks can also be used to mute a particular voice from the main output by inserting a cable into corresponding jack.
The second plate which is located were the lowest 7 keys once were has a 15 point 1/8" patch-bay. These are the circuit-bending points, linking patch locations with provided patch cables will unlock an endless variety of crazy effects, playable bends and outright bizarre sounds. the video below should give you some idea of what this devices is capable of.
This custom modification also includes front access DC power connector (this device runs off DC power adapter only) and blue LED color change. There are custom painted buttons and the keys got a cool reverse paint job." Also see this one.

Googlish: "It is against my heart that I let it go. I especially like his bass to the LFO, the rhythmic patterns that can be turned Fitr TB303 kind, and bright tablecloths.
Half presets, half VCO / Filter / LFO ... Mixing signals etc.. (See photos)
Apart from a little cleaning up some knobs that a WHOLE crachotent little, it is nickel. Arrives in a flight case.
Hand delivered to Paris. "

SK50D Yamaha Multi Synth
via this auction
"According to the Owner's Manual… The SK50D is basically composed of six sections: upper and lower organ, poly-synth, strings, bass, and solo synthesizer. Each of these sections can function as a completely independent instrument, or they can be combined and mixed to any desired degree of balance to create ensemble effects.
According to SK50D Users... It has got a [Hammond-like] 9 drawbar organ, monophonic bass synth ; a woofer killer bass with sine 3 oscillators . It has got a monophonic solo synth that can be layered with the bass synth for even more power (and it responds to aftertouch!). There is a fully programmable 7 note polyphonic analog synth with VC LPF and resonance and it has three presets, and a 7 note polyphonic analog string synth It is a very rare instrument. Very playable with lovely key action...
Here's a link to the Owner's Manual. Here's a band [natural sympathy orchestra] that uses the SK50D extensively in performance [bottom pic]"

YouTube via RothHandle | August 22, 2010
"Another little teaser from the Anima Morte sessions...This time it is the Mellotron # 563 that gets a beating using the Sonic Alienator, Moogerfooger low pass filter and the Boss PS-2...I think the Echoplex is involved as well...
The original sound is the MK I moving violins and celloes as well as an effect sound from the BBC.
This little snipet was filmed and edited by Martin Gustafsson, the bands official photographer and film maker. They are working on a small documentary that will come with the album...a sort of how-we-did-it thing"

"A demo of the working (with ease) membrane buttons."

"Legendary ARP Quadra Analog Synthesizer. 4 Synths in one. A Monster Bass Synthesizer. Polyphonic Analog Synth, String Synthesizer, and 2 Oscillator MonoSynth. There is also an external input. There are CV controls for the bass and lead synthesizers. Take Note! All the buttons, and sliders on this synth work! There are 15 broken sliders, and 2 slider caps missing from the non broken sliders. NOTE even though they are broken, they still work, and I can adjust all of the broken sliders with my finger. If you replaced the busted sliders, you would have a most excellent condition quadra."
