My greatest memory of this artist was from the beginning of his career his ability to go alone with his synths on stage and take us into his sonic, cosmic and fabulous universe.
So i plug my synths and recorded live this musical piece, for Klaus, with humility,, and start an improvisation in 3 parts around a sequence work under his influence.

"Sofia is an unusual analog oscillator based on an original waveforming principle. The sound is a mixture of a warm saturated base tone and two modulating ripple elements. A wide array of control inputs coupled with separate outputs for numerous components of the sound shaping chain allows for extensive self-patching and complex animation of the final waveform. The resulting range of possible sounds is surprisingly vast, including but not limited to: vowel-like, tearing hard-sync effect, woody pings, warm and fuzzy sine-like evolving tones with a touch of bright sparkle on top. Sofia pairs very well with filters, but it also shines with just a VCA.
"Koszalin is a full stereo frequency shifter (2 ins / 4 outs) offering both quasi-exponential and linear frequency change of up to +/-5kHz as well as full stereo feedback under voltage control. Frequency shifting results in linear translation of signal spectrum producing all kinds of atonal sounds. It should not be confused with frequency scaling, also known as pitch shifting. Complex phase cancellation patterns occurring with frequency shifting and deep feedback produce spectacular barber-pole effects. Koszalin offers direct control of feedback amount, feedback routing, and feedback response. It also facilitates frequency modulation of any stereo audio signal, thanks to the linear TZFM input.
Gera is a component of the Leibniz subsystem that allows masking individual bits of the digital data by the use of logical AND operation. It features 8 individual gate inputs that affect the individual bits of data, as well as 8 illuminated tact switches for manual inverting of each control input. When connected to Drezno that is processing a waveform or voltage, masking of individual bits yields various forms of quantization.
Bit processing logic in Gera is hardware based, hence there is virtually no latency, and the binary signals may change at extreme rates.

Poczdam
Poczdam is a binary data routing solution for the Xaoc Leibniz subsystem. It allows manual and remote switching between two Leibniz data sources, modifying individual bits of the data stream, and re-clocking the data with its onboard voltage controlled wideband oscillator, or with any external clock signal. Poczdam is particularly useful with complex Leibniz setups that need to reconfigure the data flow between multiple modules. However, it can also be employed in small creative patches, e.g. for waveform splicing, disrupting rhythmic loops or generating digital chaos.

"Classic 40 year-old Oberheim OB-8 in great condition with original manual included. 2 years ago I had the "OB-XA MOD" done on it by a synth technician which gave it a bit more low-end, but I've never owned a Xa, so I do not know how comparable it is to it. The OB-8 also has factory MIDI and the Page 2 functions have been labeled. It also has a Gooseneck light connection that the original owner had installed. I also purchased a new Fatar keyboard by a Swedish company that makes them for the OB-8. The new Fatar keyboard is not installed yet in the photos, but will be installed in Philadelphia at the synth service shop."
"All features and functions of this synth are working very nicely and it sounds wonderful. When we received this synth we very much expected it to be buggy and to require some servicing and updating and the usual sweep of replacing worn components. After giving a thorough internal and external cleaning, we found that the unit operated consistently even after multiple power up and down cycles over several weeks. The fan on this is the original and it causes some light vibration. Being that it has been working nicely we decided that "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". While we cannot say it has been serviced or "Future-proofed", we can say it is currently working great and sounds great. The new owner can decide on whether to put some expense into servicing it or not."
"When I first heard of the existence of the rare MIDI controlled turntables VESTAX made, the super rare Controller One namely, I was amazed. A turntable that can can be played with a keyboard? I went on a search for a cheaper alternative to the rare and expensive Controller 1 (6000EUR, only 100-110 made), which luckily worked out. While the turntable was en route from Japan, I commissioned http://darkroom.lt to make dubplates for me. On these special one-off vinyl records I had put sounds I created in my studio that I thought would work well in a track together. I had no idea if it would all work out, and the result surprised me."

"Antonelli Syntorgan 2445.
Lovely and quirky machine with a mono synth and high / low pass filter controls.
It came with legs, preset overlays for a handful of sounds, and a songbook.
There’s a very simple drum machine and auto bass/chords on board as well.
The Antonelli Syntorgan 2445 is actually fun to play and compose with, the two filter types really save this toy keyboard and elevates it beyond Bontempi standards.
Marketed for beginners and kids, it was apparently manufactured by Siel - it’s basically a slimmed down and tinny sounding Siel Cruise : a mono section and a poly section.
On the Syntorgan you can route the poly section through the mono filter, plus it has a kind of hidden two octave bass preset, a drum machine and auto-bass and auto-chord section too.
We used some external effects, this machine really needs it :
the Tekson Fading pedal for phasing the drums, then an odd and crazy rare FBT Dual Channel Equalizer rack-unit for some color, and a Montarbo Analog Delay (actually digital) with a broken chip that somehow distorts things wonderfully.
On some sounds we also pulled out our FBT R-21 Leslie simulator, an optical rack device based around a spinning disc, it looks almost like a tape echo.
