All tracks are different lengths. Some are in 6/8 and some 4/4. Everything just keeps looping in an unpredictable way (to me). You call it a polyrhythm, I call it a never-ending walk on the treadmill."

"In this video I'm playing my ARP 2600 through an Audity One recording amp from Curious Audio. https://curiousaudio.us

The 2600's balanced output is connected to the Audity One's transformer balanced line input. The mics I'm using are a 414 and an SE VR-1 ribbon mic through a pair of 1073 preamp clones. This amp is ideal for re-amping synths or anything really because of it's broad frequency spectrum and surprisingly low noise floor. This patch is using relatively little of the Audity One's available gain, just to illustrate the character of the amp. I hope to do some more extreme sounds when I can really let it rip!"

Modules used: @synthesistechnology MOTM-300 VCOs, MOTM-650 MIDI to CV (for transposing the sequencer only), and E102 Quad Temporal Shifter, @moonmodularhq 517 VCFs and 569 sequencer, Oakley Dual VCAs, @cluboftheknobs_synthesizer C911P poly ADSR and C969 Euclidean clock/divider, and Modcan 55B quantizers. Effects used were @strymonengineering BigSky and Timeline pedals and a @lexicon_pro MX400.

Record short audio samples and infinitely loop them.
Slow things way down with four different freeze methods:
Latch Mode uses a foot switch (or the aux key) to freeze at your discretion. The sound will be frozen until your next foot switch press.
Envelope Mode has additional controls for attack and release - so your frozen sounds rise and fall.
Auto Latch uses the incoming audio’s amplitude to control when it freezes. When sound level crosses a threshold, that audio is frozen until the next time the threshold is crossed. Here, the footswitch cancels the freeze.
AutoEnvelope also uses the audio’s own amplitude to control when it freezes, but features the attack and release controls for additional automation.
The keyboard transposes the frozen sound so that you may play the frozen sound on its own. Furthermore, transposing the freeze with the keyboard allows you harmonize with your external instrument.
