"Freshly fully serviced and future proofed Korg MS-10 by one of the best techs in the business for Japanese Synths (Vintage Standard Japan). Power supply was setup for US voltages. Comes with the rare Japanese overlay. Physically as clean as they come for a synth from the late 70's! Check pictures for more details on its physical condition. Notes and pictures of the service are posted and include:
Took apart everything for a deep cleaning.
We changed all the electrolytic capacitors
Cleaned the potentiometers ( replaced one as it had broken trace )
Changed the 4069 hex inverter for better reliability as it was old CMOS.
Cleaned the chassis, the keybed and changed all the nuts with new ones as it was rusty.
It looks and sound amazing now, It is the Korg 35 filter inside, the best Korg filter ever made.
Factory calibration."

The subject of the second Module Spotlight is Mark's new 5x5 Matrix Sequencer. This is a beta version, though it is closed to being finished, and will be included in a future update of Audulus 4.

All 4 voices are controlled by different aspects of the sequencer - two 5-note chord voices controlled by the poly sum of 5 X and Y sequences, and 2 mono lead voices, one taken from the XY point and the other from a Y-sequencer."

"MidSide+ Thru-Zero Stereo Processor
MidSide+ is an advancement of the LRMSMSLR MidSide stereo processor, offering all the functionality of the original as well as an advanced voltage-controlled through-zero width processor and a switchable HPF on the side signal. This gives you not only advanced control of the width of your stereo signals, but also the ability to create new stereo signals from mono using MS processing and then use CV to control the width of the resulting signal.
The addition of a VCA on the Mid return and a 4 Quadrant Multiplier on the Side gives you complete control of the width from Mono, through Stereo and on to Super-wide Stereo, as well as being able to reverse the stereo image and then go on to Super-wide Reverse Stereo. All processing is 100% analogue and responds at audio rate, allowing you to create thick stereo sideband signals when using an audio-rate modulation source like a VCO. The switchable HPF has minimal phase shift in the pass band and ensures mono compatibility in the low end by removing any out of phase low frequency material from your signal when engaged, letting you get as wild as you want in the stereo field.
Like all WORNG Electronics modules the interface is ergonomically designed and doesn't skimp on attenuvertors for modulation inputs."

"The Yamaha TQ5 tone generator is a 4op FM synthesizer with 8 voices, 8 notes polyphony and the usual 8 algorithms. It belongs to the same family of the Yamaha DX11 and TX81Z but it also adds ten built-in effects including reverb, delay and distortion, sharing a lot with the V50 and EOS B200. The unit also includes a 8-track sequencer, which makes it a great all-in-one machine in a rather small package."
"The TQ5 has 100 presets, plus another 100 patches in RAM and an optional RAM card containing an additional 100 slots. The built-in sequencer is capable of storing 999 bars of music (about 10,000 notes) that can be recorded in real time or step time from a master keyboard. It also has a function of dubious utility which shows the current time, date and day of the week after a minute of inactivity. It does however expand on the "easy edit" functionality first introduced with the TX81Z and DX11, letting you modify FM parameters with an analog-like approach.
The TQ5 sits in the middle of Yamaha's departure from the DX era: on one side it still retains full compatibility with the classic 4op FM technology while adding bits and pieces to make it sound better and easier to program, but on the other side it's a hard break with the hardware design and interface paradigms that made Yamaha famous during the 1980s.
Supposedly, the slanted design of the control panel should make it easy to operate when placed on the left side of the controlling keyboard. Yamaha suggest having it on top of a PF1500 electronic piano, which is probably the only place it was designed for, considering that every synthesizer made by Yamaha till 1988 had sliders on the left side of the top panel. It won't even fit on a KX76 MIDI keyboard which should be a better companion than an electronic piano.
Although no further information could be found, the TQ5 has apparently been designed (together with the YS200) by the German design firm Frog, which was also responsible of Apple's successful design language of the late 1980s but probably never really understood how a synthesizer works."

"After a bit of a hiatus on my end, I am back again with my classic FL Studio sessions. FL Studio 21 was recently released and I decided to test the new Luxeverb plugin.
Unfortunately, it is a plugin that requires to be bought separately (unless if you own the all plugins bundle). However, it is a decent reverb plugin. "In my opinion DOC has one of the fattest sounding saw waves of all the VCOs in my system. I don't use words like 'fat' a lot for describing sound, but I don't know how else to put it.
I recently added SED (which is a OTA based low pass filter with a built in mixer and VCA) to the RITS section. I haven't had the time to thoroughly explore SED but I wanted to share this brief exploration with you.
The sequence is completely random, envelopes are triggered by a combo of a Doepfer clockdivider and sequential switch, creating a wonky stream of triggers (faux rotating clockdivider). I probably shouldn't have used the odd outputs like /5 and /7 but oh well."
