India's Eastern Peripheral Expressway (NE2), with original music

video upload by CatSynth TV

"In our first highway video from India, we explore a portion of National Expressway 2, also known as the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. This 6-lane freeway runs as an outer belt around the Delhi metropolitan area. We cover the segment starting in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, running north to its interchange with the Delhi-Meerut Expressway (NE3). Along the way we cross several other highways connecting Delhi and various towns and cities in U.P., including National Highways 9 and 334C.

Original music composed and performed by Amanda Chaudhary/
Several of the instruments in this composition use an unusual scale and tuning that uses 12 tones taken from 22edo (equal divisions of the octave) tuning, for a more unusual and colorful sound. This including the main mallet pattern played on Arturia Pigments.

Full set of instruments includes:
Arturia Pigments, Pure LoFi-, CP-70 V, Jup-8 V, Delay Brigade, LX-21 Reverb
Cherry Audio SH-MAX, Elka-X, Solovox, CA2600, Crumar Spirit, Stardust 201
Vintage Minimoog
Stylophone Theremin

Arturia Pigments Dark Rhythmical Presets/Patterns Sound Demo

video upload by Anton Anru

"Echoes of Night Traffic" is a collection of 50 rhythmic presets for Arturia Pigments, designed to bridge the gap between surreal dreams and aggressive cyberpunk realities.
The bank contains timbres heavily focused on sequences and rhythmic textures: 29 Sequences (SQ), 17 Rhythmic timbres (RH), and 4 Arpeggios (ARP).

📦 Get these presets: https://antonanru.sellfy.store/p/pigm...
👤 The author of the soundset is Daytona Carter.
🔔 Pigments presets can be imported into Arturia Analog Lab V.
If you like these sounds but don’t have Minifreak or Pigments and only own the Analog Lab V plugin, you can still purchase these sets and load them into Analog Lab V.

💎 The library moves effortlessly from hypnotic, cosmic sequences to hard-hitting, aggressive rhythms that cut through the mix.

The soundset creates the atmosphere of a dystopian city, which would suit the soundtrack for a film, game, or electronic music (Techno, IDM, Ambient, Cinematic, Synthwave, Retrowave, Electronica, Acid, Industrial).

via The Alan R Pearlman Foundation newsletter:

"Our West Coast Whirlwind!

At NAMM:

Anthony Marinelli visited our booth
The Blue Meanie was at our booth for a whole day!

ARP 2600: Drew Schlesinger demonstrated patches using the 2600 software included in the Korg Collection VST 6. 2 Lucky folks won a signed CD and poster from Martin Gore

And Congratulations to Violet Burns who won the Korg Collection 6!

Then it was off to Buchla & Friends – January’s biggest two-day collection of hands-on synths on the West Coast!

Remember: The Most Creative Part of an ARP synthesizer is You!

NAMM 2026 would not have been possible without the help of the following people and companies:

Thank you to Korg, Inc for the Korg Collection Giveaway and helping us make NAMM possible.

Thank you to Sean Weizmann of Arturia for the midi controller

Thank you to Beyer Dynamics for the headphones

Thank you to Ryan Hawkins of Hawkins Restorations for use of his Blue Meanie, Tonus 2600, OMNI and Odyssey, and for being the best Booth volunteer along with his assistant Miles.

Thank you to Julie Lewis for volunteering at the booth and for her donation last year of a rare ARP Soloist that was owned and played wonderful late husband synth legend Don Lewis.

MICROFREAK & PIGMENTS 7 DEMO

video upload by elz production

"Microfreak:
We can think of many reasons to freak over the MicroFreak. Yes, it is small, but it does offer some of the most unique sounds we’ve heard when it comes to budget synths.

If you’re new to the synth world, you really can’t go wrong with this instrument and it’s a great option with which to learn your skills. It’s well-built, comes with plenty of sound options, and the interface is intuitive.

Synths are evolving and growing in power every year. While some of us might love the crispness of an analog synth, as well as their bulky size, we still love the fact that you can have a powerful synth that can fit in a traveling case.

It makes us wonder about what the future holds for Arturia and the budget synth market in general.

Pigments 7:
Arturia have done it again. Pigments has grown in terms of features and become leaner and meaner under the hood, with those CPU and workflow improvements. It retains its place at the top table of software synthesizers, sitting alongside the likes of Omnisphere, Absynth 6 and UVI’s Falcon.

For the MPE enthusiasts amongst you, Pigments further cements its place as a showcase instrument for such endeavours. Pair it up with an Osmose, Rise or even Arturia’s own PolyBrute 12, and Pigments 7 becomes next-level superb.

If I had one quibble, it would be the lack of day-one support for AstroLab. They always seem to be playing catch-up, which will leave AstroLab owners slightly frustrated that they can’t take advantage of these new sounds straight away."
