"Like nearly all the high end vintage analog synths we sell, this item has been METICULOUSLY disassembled, cleaned inside and out, FULLY serviced by professionals who’ve been servicing and selling vintage synths and drum machines for more than the last 3 decades, and systematically tested multiple times over a long period to ensure it’s working exactly as it should. "This is the big boy 8-voice Maximus. It's in superb condition and includes everything it would if you purchased it new. Analogue Solutions makes the most 70's sounding synths in the modern era IMO. Raw, present, fat, but with all the modern accoutrement (modern MIDI, connectivity, etc). I have owned all the legendary vintage big boy polys at some point or another and the Maximus is on another level. Most would agree the 8-voice Oberheim is (EVS) is one of the greatest vintage polys of all time. The Maximus is essentially the modern equivalent but with a dedicated sequencer per voice, more global controls, built in delay per voice, and a superior mixer section. This is unit 15, but serial #22 by special request. I suspect no one will ever build an analog synth like this again as it's a labor of love and costly.
I recommend local pick-up here in Vegas, but I have the original crate it shipped in from England. These rarely come up for sale, especially Stateside, and now with tariffs the way they are you're gonna get hammered buying a high ticket import like this. If you were considering a Maximus, here's your chance.

"Live Composition in the Studio with the Sonicware ELZ_1 play V2 and CyDrums.
In this video, I’m in the studio composing and performing a new track using the Sonicware ELZ_1 play V2 alongside the CyDrums drum machine.
I chose not to synchronize the two machines via MIDI to keep a sense of freedom, tension, and natural drift in the performance, letting the track breathe and evolve on its own.
On the ELZ_1 play V2, I’m working with one of my favorite engines: 8BIT WAVEMEM SYNTH, the 8bit Wave memory.
I love how this engine can shape the track through its evolving waveforms, shifting character depending on timing and modulation. I'm using the internal effect session with a ping pong stereo delay and a shimmer reverb. The arpeggiator is running in random mode, loosely aligned with the tempo of the CyDrums. I love to mute and unmute elements on the dum machine to let the track evolve.
All recorded at 24bit 96kHz PCM on UAD Apollo X hardware with builtin FX and UAD FX.

Improvising using the Antonus Step Brother for play the Formant. Very special and particular sound and behaviour in the Formant, but the Step Brother connects in a very powerful way.
