"I’m thinking about starting a fun new video series where I create jams in my studio on Sunday afternoons.

Today I’ve set up my Arturia KeyStep Pro, ARP 2600M, Moog Matriarch and Arturia DrumBrute Impact 1984.

The KeyStep sends midi clock to the DrumBrute and sequences the ARP2600M. And the Matriarch is dialled in for some tweaking!

Sunday arvo’s do have a vibe and are perfect for music creation with no distractions 😊"

I designed these patches for playing several shows with Herbie Hancock at the Hollywood Bowl. Sharing the stage with Herbie and the original Head Hunters was one of the most surreal and meaningful experiences of my life, a true full-circle moment as a lifelong fan.

These sounds were designed for tributes to Wayne Shorter and Weather Report, Herbie, Joe Zawinul, Stevie Wonder, Chick Corea, and more. From 'Chameleon' to 'Black Market,' these are stage-tested patches built for funk and fusion. "Following the Studio Tour Video I made last November, here is an update with recent acquisitions and changes to my workflow in my Studio.

Some highlights are the Moog Messenger, Arturia DrumBrute Impact 1984 Edition, Synido TempoPAD C16, Aly James Lab Vprom 3.0, Beyerdynamic DT1990 Pro, Modartt Pianoteq 8 and some Franklin Audio Devices.

The biggest change is in my 2nd Studio where the B Team is kept. I have connected those synths to a Franklin Audio SS-6 Switchable Input Stereo DI which then sends audio to my Universal Audio Volt 476 interface connected to a Macbook Pro Laptop.
