Very odd organ but I feel when I finally get my own repaired that it's going to work it's way into being a useful tool. 1974 I was told..others say 1973. I'd love to find the date the mitsubishi output module came out but I can't see any information on the web. Anyway here it is in all it's beauty. A classic piece of the early/mid 70's. And one of the earliest auto accompaniment keyboards I'm aware of that is this portable. THe bottom speaker cabinet detaches and the top can be carried easily to a car trunk etc."

"The Telefunken Echomixer is a interesting German mono mixer from the year 1961. A great vintage piece with old discrete comoponents (old transistors, no tubes). It is a Mixer + an amazing spring reverberator. the first A channel is dry, and on B and C you can select the spring reverb amount between the two lower sliders.

Overdriving the input sounds also nice. I did this with a Roland TR-606. In the video I also play a Korg MS-20 through the Echomixer.

The Echomixer has only DIN jacks (they look like MIDI jacks).
It was used by Klaus Schulze."

"A 5-second granular sampler I've built. Doesn't actually generate sounds, but samples/loops them and manipulates and mangles them.

Uses an 8bit AVR and was programmed in BASCOM. Has a few inherent problems and isn't very user friendly, so I won't be selling this specific design. I'll redesign one some other time and may make a few available.

Moon Modular 552 - Analyzing The Source Of The Mystery

"It has been discussed quite a bit that the Moon 552 may or may not have some sort of problem reliably converting control voltage to MIDI. Early on I had convinced myself that there was no problem at all, and then later it seemed to only have a problem when fed unstable voltages. And then recently I ran into a situation where it seemed to be totally unreliable! But I have video evidence of it tracking solidly so, all three of me couldn't be wrong! ;-) I needed to investigate and this video documents what I found.

Hopefully the info here will help you if you have this really powerful module and while I don't have an explanation yet for the exact cause or a 'real' fix, I think I've narrowed it down and there are a couple workarounds suggested.

"rare Multimoog synthesizer. Only one thousand of these were made. Many have been parted out to repair others. So there are not many left of this special synth.

This one is in correct working order and is in excellent condition.

This was the last synthesizer designed by Bob Moog himself from the original Moog Music company in New York. He had already sold the company and name to Norlin, but he had a contract to stay on and continue working for a couple of years. He was the designer of this wonderful synth as the slightly smaller version of the Minimoog. It was the last synth he made with the original company.

It still uses the famous Moog filter design and can do a few things the Mini could not do. First of these special traits was its modulation routing. It was, relatively speaking, capable of more routing possibilities for modulation. It also has aftertouch. it is one of the first synths to have this feature. Play a note and then press a little harder to add that extra bit of expression - maybe a vibrato or a filter change. Also, Bob Moog designed the first portable synthesizers to be modular. The Multi and Mini among others (Micro and Prodigy to name a couple) had ins and outs included on the back to you could connect a couple of these gems together for even more power. He wanted to be able to include some of what he had started out with in building his large modular synthesizers."

Sequencer provides CV and Gate signals. I route the Gate to Linear FM, Exp. FM, and PWM. The VCO can output Sine, triangle, and pulse waves.

The camera angle is kinda lame, and the output is coming from a hi-fi amp + speakers. The music sux, but I think this VCO sounds pretty good :)"
