Bastl Pizza v1.1 - Full Video Manual and Example Patches

video upload by Oscillator Sink

"Bastl have just released the first major firmware upgrade for their digital VCO: Pizza.

The Pizza from Bastl is a flexible and cool sounding digital VCO based around FM (phase modulation) with variable wave shapes, ring modulation and wave folding. Beneath its simple interface, it is a module that urges you to approach it from many different angles to explore its surprising depth.

In this video I have attempted to create a comprehensive video manual, followed by a selection of example patches, showing the module in a wide variety of guises.

Synclavier Regen

Synclavier Digital is proud to announce its new product, Synclavier Regen. Drawing on the rich history of the Synclavier, while simultaneously breaking new ground in what’s possible in a desktop synthesizer. Stop dreaming, start creating. Synclavier Regen is waiting to be your new companion for sound. Additive synthesis, subtractive synthesis, and sampling have all been given equal reverence in this unique hardware Synclavier .

The new buck in the Synclavier stable
Synclavier Regen is the newest in an auspicious line of Digital FM synthesizers. Designed for desktop use, it contains the power of the Synclavier II DSP engine, enhanced and optimised. Full colour screen, liquid-like touch controls, high fidelity audio output coupled with a sound design powerhouse makes this the synth you always dreamed of.

Regen supports additive synthesis for full control of 24 harmonics. We’ve now added subtractive synthesis to the Synclavier synthesis engine, especially for Regen, allowing creation of super saws, PCM square waves, and noise generation. Or you can use samples for your carrier waveform.

And these different waveform generators can be mixed. You have up to 12 partials to use in your sound design creation with crossfades assignable to inputs such as velocity, pressure, mod wheel, and of course, keyboard.

Regen is loaded with content to get you inspired fast. There are over 250 timbre presets including 6 newly-commisioned artist timbre libraries. On top of that, there are 2 exclusive sample libraries with over 300 new samples and one mega library with over 700 original samples from the NED era.

When you’re done exploring the factory content, you’ll have fun with the sound design possibilities. You can layer up to 12 partials with different sound generators (additive, subtractive, samples) then apply dynamic effects per partial. It’s truly an expressive instrument, both to program and to play. Polyphonic aftertouch and MPE is fully-supported and there’s a sophisticated modulators section where you can apply responsive curves to properties driven by pressure, velocity, mod wheel position, and so on.

The Daddy of digital synthesis is back with a punch. Results are immediate. The DC-coupled audio outputs really kick on basslines and percussion. The pad sounds shine with that satisfying FM that is so unique on Synclavier. And now there’s a bunch of other effects, such as reverb and bit crush to play with.

Features
255 Regen timbre presets
700+ samples of royalty-free factory content
Additive waveforms, subtractive waveform generator and multi-sample patchlists
12 partials to build your sounds.
12 tracks for multi-timbral playback or stacking (layering) of sounds.
4 USB ports for keyboards and other peripherals plus one USB port for connection to DAW. And 5-pin MIDI standard (TRS).
2 full-colour high resolution screens
Senstive liquid-like touch swiper and 12 selector pads.
Multiple effects per track, including chorus, reverb, vibrato, tremolo, arpeggiator, bit crush, and multi-mode filter.
High fidelity DC-coupled audio out (stereo XLR or TS) with 130dB of dynamic range.

Intuitive Instruments Exquis Hexagonal Keyboard

video uploads by dualo by Intuitive Instruments

Playlist:
Exquis - The smartest way to create expressive music
Loïc, accordeonist and du-touch player, is testing Exquis
Knarf, synthfluencer at LesSondiers.com testing Exquis

Currently on Kickstarter

"Making music is all about finding the right notes and assembling them in rhythm. But whatever the instrument, device or software, it still takes time and effort to master theory and technique.

At Intuitive Instruments, we have figured out a smarter way to play and compose today’s music, that makes it intuitive and logical for anyone.

Explore, have fun, surprise yourself, find inspiration. Above all, composing music is about emotion. Exquis provides an intuitive way to lead you to the right path, still allowing you to play out of it. No need to think: just choose a scale and follow its illuminated path.

Thanks to our patented layout, making chords is easy; Exquis puts notes that sound well together right next to one another. You’ll be amazed how harmony falls under your fingers.

Your notes, your chords, your music

Beginner, amateur or professional musicians, we all want to shorten the time between an idea and its execution. Exquis gives you the fastest access to the rules of harmony, so you can improvise with or without any theoretical background.

Then, thanks to Exquis’s unique and spontaneous creative workflow, just pick a sound, play, record your own loops and create a full song in minutes!

Expressivity at your fingertips

There is no need to play lots of notes when you can bring them to life. Exquis’s expressive keys are designed to be mastered in minutes while offering a huge potential for expert gestures. Inspired by the finesse of acoustic instruments, Exquis keys are both firm enough to play percussion and short notes with precision, and soft enough to modulate long notes with sensibility.

Sculpt your music with emotion; hit, press, and bend the keys independently thanks to the MIDI Polyphonic Expression protocol (MPE).

And in addition, use the 4 clickable potentiometers and the touch slider to increase the possibilities of sound and music control: effects, note/beat repeat,...

The Exquis multi-platform app is the perfect companion for the keyboard, as well as an autonomous MIDI-compatible DAW. Compose entire songs within seconds thanks to a unique workflow we have been perfecting for 15 years, which is approved today by thousands of musicians worldwide for its spontaneity and efficiency.

The app and the controller work in symbiosis to provide an easy and chronological music production logic. From left to right, pilot the essential actions with simple gestures, directly on the keyboard and/or in the app:

Settings : prepare your song (tempo, scale, default quantization…)
Sounds : pick a sound plugin and preset to create a new “track”
Record : record “clips” and preset the recording behavior (start condition, length, overdub)
Tracks : just like a director in an orchestra, decide which clips to launch and stop in real time
Scenes : save and launch states of your song (e.g: intro, verse, chorus…)
Play/Stop : play/stop your song, and select another project"

We designed the Exquis’s workflow by taking into consideration two temporalities: you can both play live safely and take your time to create in your bubble. Most usual actions only require handling the keyboard, whereas advanced actions taking more time like programming (clip/scene duration, follow actions…) are to be made via the app.

The interface of the app is designed following the same logic, turning your device into a customizable heads-up display and an alternative interface to all your actions, especially if you play with another MIDI controller.

In order to allow musicians to create new rhythms and moods, the Exquis app natively includes exclusive functionalities never seen in a DAW before. For example, as we were inspired by the workshops of Jacob Collier, the app provides an easy way to play with tuplets: uncommon beat divisions such as 1/5 or 1/7, useful to create grooves with a drunk feel."

See the kickstarter campaign for additional details.

MIDI Wave Theremin by Horst with DIY Piezo Trigger Pad

"This is just a demonstration of the sound. Everything else is here http://www.wave-theremin.com/video-tu..."

Midi Theremin made in Australia !

We have a beautiful Midi Theremin for sale and we are shipping to Australia, UK, Canada, Europe, USA and more. If you are considering to buy a Theremin, please take a closer look at our Midi Theremin ...

midi theremin for sale

o Standalone Stereo Theremin

o MIDI Theremin Controller

o MIDI Drum Trigger Interface

o Unique Finger Drum Theremin

o Theremin Controlled 24 db Filter

o Theremin Controlled Ring Modulator

o Automatic Tune and Stabilise

The Midi Theremin in a "nutshell" :

We are exited to introduce you to a revolutionary approach to an old theme. We have re-invented this almost ancient electronic musical instrument and brought it into the 21 century. Using the power of modern electronics, we have unlocked new frontiers and enable you to make creative music in a new way.

Our Midi Theremin is more than just a simple Theremin:

(1) It can be played like a normal Theremin producing audio from a variety of build in oscillators, wave-forms and modulators, to create a multitude of different sounds and effects.

(2) It is also a very flexible Theremin Midi-controller. It is capable of producing a stream of midi messages like pitch-bend-messages, control-messages and note-on/off messages to control other midi-capable instruments or samplers. Using a "trigger-pad" , the Midi Theremin becomes a percussion instrument that can trigger samples and modulate them accurately in various ways.

(3) The Wave Theremin can also be used as a theremin controlled filter and ring-modulator, processing signals from the audio input or internal generators and sending the resulting wave forms to the audio output. The ladder-style self-oscillating 24 dB resonant filter is one of our favorite, allowing you to "play harmonics" in a new way.

A note from the designer:

Obviously this Theremin is more geared towards the "electronic music experimentalist" (like myself) and the Techno performer, and therefore demands it's own niche in the market (Sorry all you Theremin-Purists out there). Having one hand occupied with accurately controlling the pitch, leaves the other hand free to create improvised rhythms or to adjust all those parameters i.e. octave skipping, auto-trigger and volume etc...

Friendly Regards, Horst Gruhle, Design Engineer.

Noise Engineering Introduces Polydactyl Versio Tymp Legio Eurorack modules

video upload by Noise Engineering

"We are taking pre-orders for both these modules NOW. Modules ship Thursday, August 25, 2022.

Pre-order Polydactyl Versio and Tymp Legio here: https://bit.ly/3A9Q5Ab

The press release:

Los Angeles, CA — Noise Engineering is excited to announce two new modules: Tymp Legio for the 6hp Legio platform and Polydactyl Versio for the 10hp Versio platform.

Tymp Legio
Tymp Legio is inspired by the Noise Engineering team's love of all types of bang/ crash/ kick/ boom sounds. This is not your normal drum-kit module with samples or simple emulations, though. Instead, they took the challenge of a small percussion module as an opportunity to fit the drums they wanted quick access to in 6hp. “We really wanted the module to showcase our sense of playfulness. We don’t take ourselves very seriously here and we had so much fun designing this module. We wanted the panel to reflect this,” said Markus Cancilla, Chief of Destruction. Tymp Legio has three modes—labeled Boot, Cat, Boing—each an onomatopoetic reference to the sounds it makes. The Tang switch offers variations within a mode. If you want to duck other signals in your patch to your percussion, run your audio into the stereo Quack input. Tymp Legio’s simple interface puts a massive tonal and textural range under your control.

Availability and pricing: Preorders open now. In stock in black and silver. Shipping from Noise Engineering and retailers starting August 25, 2022; MSRP US$279

Notable features: Tymp Legio
● 6 HP
● Stereo percussion
● That’s not a kick but it’s kickin’ my butt
● Release the quack in: Stereo ducking
● Intuitive controls but powerful sound
● Platform: many modules for the price of one!

Polydactyl Versio
Polydactyl Versio is Noise Engineering's take on a stereo multiband dynamics processor. Equally at home on single-instrument timbral processing and on end-of-chain gloss and mix cohesion, Polydactyl Versio is sure to be love-at-first-patch for anyone looking to zest up their mix. Polydactyl applies a unique and transparent algorithm across three adjustable bands for maximal dynamic impact. If transparent doesn’t suit your needs, add in some multiband saturation. Polydactyl also features a noise gate and limiting capabilities; this is a processor that gives ultimate control of color and dynamics in just 10hp.

Availability and pricing: Preorders open now. In stock in black and silver. Shipping from Noise Engineering and retailers starting August 25, 2022; MSRP US$355.

Notable features: Polydactyl Versio
● 10HP
● Three-band stereo dynamics processing
● Optional saturation
● Limiting
● Noise gating
● Platform: many modules for the price of one!

Platforms
Both modules are part of Noise Engineering’s platform concept: Tymp on the 6hp Legio platform and Polydactyl on the 10hp Versio platform. Owners of a platform module can swap between firmwares, completely free, at the Noise Engineering Customer Portal. The new firmwares will be available when the modules are shipping on August 25, 2022 so current platform owners will get to try them out at the same time. Both platforms are also built on the ElectroSmith Seed and open-source support is available through LibDaisy for customers interested in creating their own firmwares.

Modular Monthly - Manis Iteritas Magnus

video upload by Ultra-Vox Studios

"Welcome to the first Modular Monthly! This will be a monthly video series showcasing my favorite modules, explaining there functionality, patching strategies and of course the sounds they create.

It was an easy choice to pick which module I wanted to show first. The @noiseeng Manis Iteritas Magnus is a staple in my sound design. In this video I thought what better way to show its sound and flexibility by just hooking it up and start turning knobs! The first half of the video is different kick/percussion possibilities and the second half I open it up to show the brutal and gritty chaos it can produce.

Based on the architecture of Basimilus Iteritas line, but designed to be more gritty and aggressive. It accomplishes this by producing only sawtooth waves that are manipulated, modulated, and distorted through a rethought interface. It has the ability to make anything from drums, bass, leads or detuned madness or just pure mayhem!

If you’re interest in this module or others by Noise Engineering you can find it here - https://noiseengineering.us/products/..."

99bpm Dubby Chill [with a Sweet Hybrid Setup!]

video upload by Electronisounds Audio

"Track Recording Date: 07/26/2022
Tempo: 99bpm
Key: Fminor Pentatonic (Yes, AGAIN! lol)

DETAILS:
Fully hybrid setup with Polyend Play as the main sequencer as well as playing back drum samples and lots of chord samples.

The iPad is connected to an audio interface that has midi in, and i'm sending midi to miRack for the main kick and main snare sounds, as well as loads of percussion, fx and the 2 main evolving pads/texture sounds - all coming from miRack.

*ALL SIX* Individual Outputs from the iPad's audio interface go to six individual inputs on the Eurorack FX System!! I am processing ALL of the miRack sounds through real-world Eurorack !!

The Syntakt provides a LOAD of sounds, from the main bass to chord stabs to percussion, all being sequenced from the Play via midi!

ALL AUDIO is being fed into a 1010 Bluebox mixer/recorder where i'm mixing, doing some gentle EQ and compression, and recording the track. The track was then loaded into Soundforge audio editor and I ran it through my Favorite: Waves L3 Ultramaximizer plugin - to get the track levels a bit more glued, consistent, even and to make the track louder!

I then sync up the audio/video manually in my video editor: Luma Fusion on iPad.

Whatever kind of music you are making - KEEP IT UP, Friends!
Don't stop making *YOUR MUSIC*!!"

New Patch Presets for the Roland JX-3P Synthesizer!

video upload by SynthaTone

Note seeing a link for the patches. Check with SynthaTone on YouTube if interested.

"Roland JX-3P Organ, Pan Flute, Saxophone and Brass Section preset patch demo. These patches are examples from a soon-to-be-released sound set that will be available at an affordable price.

These patches can be loaded into a stock JX-3P from a cell phone headphone jack to the input jack of the Tape Memory interface on the back of the synthesizer. An old phone that you have but no longer use makes a great dedicated storage device that you can always have hooked up for easy access. This is a good workaround if your JX-3P has a dead battery and you want to load sounds until you get the battery replaced.

These patches can be programmed manually into a Kiwi-3p KiwiTechnics or River Creative Technology (Organix) modified unit or a Roland Sound Cloud ACB VST instrument using the included data chart decoded from the tape memory audio file.

The JX-3P has a 3rd memory bank with 16 additional presets in the Service Mode. This memory is shared with the Sequencer and is overwritten when a sequence is written. However, if you write a short sequence of no more than 32 steps, it will still be there after you write patches into the 3rd memory bank.

Service Mode is accessed by pressing and releasing the Tape Memory button, then while pressing and holding patch button 4, pressing and releasing the Tape Memory button again. An alternative method is to press and hold patch button 4 when the JX-3P is switched off and then switching it on.

The JX-3P factory presets only hint at the sonic possibilities of this instrument. With the same basic sound as the Jupiter 8, I have found that the JX-3P's only real limitations are the shared envelope generator, and lack of a 2' pitch for the oscillators even though there is a button available for it, something that is found on the Jupiter 6 and Jx-8P. There are workarounds to these limitations that can still enable the creation of fun-to-play sounds reminiscent of the Yamaha DX7 and the Roland D-50. I have come to believe that the JX-3P really should have been named the JX-6, with the JX-8P designated JX-6A or JX-8 if it were upgraded to 8 note polyphony.

The soundtrack for this video was produced in Reaper with the plugins MT Power Drum Kit 2 for percussion and Sanford Sound Design Reverb for ambience. The JX-3P was recorded live in monophonic audio. The music is an original composition."

Noisebug’s 4ms Sound-on-Sound System

video upload by NOISEBUG

https://www.noisebug.net/

"Running guitar through the 4ms Sound-on-Sound System, a Noisebug Exclusive! The 4ms Sound on Sound System was designed here at Noisebug to offer a small, compact sampling system that can be used in a variety of different situation, using a variety of different instruments. The Percussion Interface (PI) and PI Expander are a pair of Eurorack modules that generate gates and envelopes from acoustic drums, samplers, drum machines, and virtually any audio source that is plugged into its input, making this system a true sampling powerhouse! Next is the Stereo Triggered Sampler, a high fidelity, two-channel stereo sample recorder and playback module. The STS can record high quality stereo files, while simultaneously playing two different stereo files. A maximum of 600 samples can be loaded from the removable/swappable microSD card, in a variety of formats up to 96kHz/32-bit/stereo WAV. All sample parameters (1V/oct pitch, sample file selection, length, and start position) are CV controllable and can be controller directly from your incoming audio's amplitude using the envelope outputs on the Percussion Interface. Just to the right of the STS is the Dual Looping Delay. A modern looping devices grew directly from hardware digital delays of the late 70s and early 80s. A looping delay, modeled on units such as the classic Lexicon PCM42, has the very long storage times associated with dedicated looping, but without triggered record and playback functions. By default, a looping delay records and plays continuously, though recording can be suspended at any time with Infinite Repeat. Sustain of delays and loops is mainly accomplished with regeneration, allowing an organic, evolving approach to sound creation as new material replaces old, more or less gradually. The 4ms Dual Looping Delay also provides advanced clock input and output facilities that allow for locking delayed and looped material with sequencers and rhythmic devices. The final stage in this system is the Listen Four Quarters, a four channel stereo mixer with 1/4" (6.35mm) TRS balanced outputs and 1/8" (3.5mm) headphones output. Two mono channels with Pan knobs and two stereo channels with dual inputs provide optimal compatibility with both stereo and mono signals. The Listen Four Quarters can be daisy-chained to other Listen modules to create a larger mixer with sub-mix outputs.

video upload by Patrick Manderson

"'Starfield Bound' - was recorded live early Sunday morning on January 16, 2022 using a MIDI sequencer, 4 mixers, outboard compressors and a room full of synthesizers. This music originated from a shorter music sequence that later evolved to what is here now. For several weeks I considered breaking it up into 2 separate pieces sharing the same theme and later left decided to keep it as is. I'm still not sure it was a good idea to keep it as one.

The MPC X was used to compose and arrange all the MIDI data and control all the synths during recording. Most of the modulations were made with note velocities. Many parts were controlled with continuous controller messages. This is my second piece of music composed on the Akai MPC X and despite the complexity of all the automation and modulations, working with it at this level was very easy and comfortable. Much more so than the Yamaha RS-7000.

The Oberheim Matrix 1000 and Korg Minilogue XD provided the primary sonic textures for Startfield Bound - aided by the wonderful percussion textures of the Boss DR-660. A custom kit was mapped meticulously so accomodate layering of sounds using the pitch, decay and nuance parameters. All 4 outputs were used and careful consideration on routing the sounds to each of the 4 channels on the Soundcraft GB4.

The Roland JX-08 and ASM Hydrasynth were added late in the development of the music. I am really impressed with the sound of both, especially the JX-08.

During the summer of '21 a pair of new mixers were added to the room. The Soundcraft GB4 and a Allen & Heath MixWizard WZ3 replaced my aging Mackie 1604 VLZ3 which had nothing technically wrong with it, but it drove me crazy there were no eq disable switches on the channels.

Why two mixers? I would have preferred a single larger frame (24 or 32 channel) console but I don't have the physical space for it. Two smaller mixers works out great better for the room.

Dynacord ADD-One : Advanced Digital Drum Synthesizer sound demo

video upload by Cro w

"Audio is direct out from the ADD-One into the interface.
The lagging of audio in the first half is what happens when using the internal sequencer AND tweaking parameters at the same time (remember this is mid-80's CPU power ha). When sequenced/triggered externally (as demonstrated in the second half), there is no lagging of course.
The ADD-One is a real beast of an electronic percussion instrument. It's a thick and rather high-end sound that is interestingly vintage yet modern at once. It doesn't sound 'period' or dated like other classic drum synthesizers and samplers of the 1980's, and gets avant-garde and experimental easily, if your into that. If not, you're really gonna hate the bulk of the video... haha
Enjoy."

Introducing the Vectra Synthesizer...

The Vectra is a unique digital-analog hybrid synthesizer providing four oscillators, white and pink noise sources, four ring modulators, a four-channel mixer, five LFO’s, six morphing envelopes, six primary multimode analog filter types, a main analog VCA, and numerous internal modulation routings and VCA’s controlling modulation amounts.

It really is like having a powerful self-contained semi-modular synthesizer with approximately 500 internal signal routings, and around 256 storable sound parameters.

The Vectra's synthesis architecture is designed to allow the greatest flexibility in recreating multiple synthesis techniques of the past while introducing several new innovations and methods.

The oscillators are digital as this provides the highest degree of tuning stability, while allowing both traditional virtual analog waveforms and 500 digital waveforms. With features like oscillator Sync, PWM, our new waveform Phase Slice, and Fade features, independent glide times per oscillator, constant beat detuning, monophonic and eight paraphonic voice modes, not to mention FM, AM, Ring-modulation, and dedicated LFO’s, Envelopes, and VCA’s per oscillator really make these oscillators a power house.

The four-channel mixer is unique in that it provides an even balance when mixing multiple sources, either manually with the joystick, or applying automated vector mixing, or mixer modulation.

The five LFO’s provide 500+ waveforms to choose from, with their frequency spanning from sub-audio to well into the audio range. Their frequency can be stationary or track keyboard notes with glide. Waveforms can sync to any waveform phase at a note-on, and they can be frequency modulated as well. In short they can be used as LFO’s, complex envelopes, or audio rate oscillators.

The six morphing envelopes are really something else. With each envelope providing initial Delay, Attack, Hold, Decay, Sustain, Release, as well as a loop time when set to Repeat. Ultra precise and snappy, they provide envelope times from 0ms to 14.7 seconds per each stage. Each envelope provides multiple envelope curve selections, and can be one-shot, normal envelope types, or looping. And did you notice they can morph? Yes, that’s right! All six envelopes can morph and modulate between two individual values per each envelope stage.

FORCE 3.1 Feature Update introduces 3 new synth plugin instruments, 7 new plugin insert effects including a Vocal Suite, Disk Streaming, Class Compliant USB Audio Interface Support, and many other major upgrades for new and existing Force users.

Ft Lauderdale, FL USA (October 19, 2021) — Akai Professional, a leading manufacturer of music equipment for performers and producers, is proud to announce FORCE 3.1, its latest and most substantial update to the FORCE standalone music production system. FORCE 3.1 introduces the next chapter of standalone performance with revolutionary features and functionality alongside inspiring new sounds and sound processing. Powered by the unrivaled tactical control and interface of FORCE standalone hardware, the FORCE 3.1 update will engage the modern music creator like never before.

New Instruments, Insert Effect Plugins, and AIR Vocal Suite
From the beginning, FORCE set a new bar for what standalone hardware music production could be. The FORCE 3.1 update builds on that precedent with 3 new plugin instruments: AIR Solina, AIR Mellotron, and WayOutWare’s Odyssey. These new plugin instruments are faithful recreations of iconic synthesizer and keyboard instruments, now with powerful graphic interfaces for visually striking feedback and interaction. Mellotron and Solina feature the Flavor effect processing sections, enabling creative applications of additional texture and character to your sounds with Distortion, Noise, Flutter, and more.

FORCE 3.1 also introduces 7 new plugin insert effects for creative arranging and performance, as well as mixing and mastering. The versatile group of insert effects including Stutter, Half Speed, Granulator, Diffuser Delay, and Stereo Delay will quickly insert an inventive spark into your tracks for unique drops, edits, and transitions. Diode Clipper will add grit and distortion to any source while AIR Limiter will bring dynamic signal processing to your music for a punchy, finalized mix.

The creativity doesn’t stop there as the new AIR Vocal Suite delivers the power to create, record, and mix the perfect vocals right inside FORCE. The adaptive Vocal Tuner handles any tuning tasks from subtle pitch correction to the modern auto vocal tuned sound found in all genres of modern music. AIR Doubler adds depth and dimension to solo or group vocals with spectrum-filling width and presence. Finally, the AIR Harmonizer will transform any single voice into 4-part harmony instantly. Create full background vocal arrangements with ease and accuracy with built-in volume, pan, delay, and eq.

Now Streaming Superior Performance
The essence of the standalone experience is hardware that responds immediately to the needs of your dynamic workflow. Users can now enjoy a more accessible and efficient workflow with the power of Disk Streaming from external storage devices. Disk Streaming enables better system resource allocation and performance for expanded creativity and performance. Record and playback longer audio tracks, perform an entire DJ set, or create larger keygroup programs all while enjoying faster project load times.

Major Workflow Enhancements, Engine Updates and Expandability
With the power of Disk Streaming comes added expandability. With FORCE 3.1, instantly expand your hardware connectivity with Class Compliant USB Audio Interface Support. Route up to 32 audio inputs and outputs to-and-from FORCE, all via a single USB cable. Increase your input count to record more tracks directly to FORCE, or route audio into your favorite outboard gear.

Get more performance out of the drum and keygroup engines with the new portamento function for gliding notes and percussion, like 808 kick drums. Dial-in the perfect sample shape with dedicated pitch envelope. Smooth out your drum breaks and chops with Akai Sample Tail and access up to 10 drum pad effects including Ringmod, Bitcrush, Tubedrive, Lowpass, and more.

Force 3.1 also ads new functionality to Buses (Submixes/Returns/Masters) for more control and creativity. Now the Recording, Playback and Editing of automation follows the same workflow on buses as other tracks. Control submix and master tracks with the “Select,” “Rename,” and “Clips” functions as well as dialing in automation on the fly.

Finally, Force 3.1 expands MIDI integration with the ability to load and export MIDI files to and from FORCE. For even more MIDI integration, assign your FORCE parameters to your 3rd party MIDI controller for additional tactical control.
