One synth per left and right channel. "The filter is the only knob being changed and Jesse Creed kept both matched by eye. Everything else is set and left as is. There are subtle differences but they seem within the range of what various 303s would sound like side by side after a few years [Imho].
Keep in mind the comparison is slightly skewed due to the fact the 303 has 30 year old parts inside. Still, the cyclone has the overall same tone range and the same sweet spots so it does the right things at the right part of the knob turn. I think it's awesome so far. Well worth the price.
The sequencer is also pretty rad. It has neat little features like when you're in pitch mode, you can play with the transpose, accent and slide buttons while it's playing and it will mangle the playing sequence accordingly. That's a lot of fun for live noodling on a sequence."
