Using innovative pitch detection circuitry, the DEEP IMPACT pedal can track your playing quickly and responsively to provide fat bass synth tones. You can use the synth sound on its own or you can mix in a proportion of your bass guitar's sound to the output.
Synth presets are selected using the footswitches or the effect can be completely bypassed using Akai Professional's 'true bypass' feature which allows the straight sound to pass through with no unwanted colouration from the pedal's circuitry.
The SB1 has nine preset programs which you can switch between using the PROGRAM UP/DOWN footswitches. Each of these presets are fully customizable with control over attack, decay, envelope depth, dynamics sensitivity, filter cutoff, filter resonance, synthesizer and direct balance, program level, synth trigger level and noise gate."

In this video I'll try to show the capabilites of the sequencer along with the creative limitations of 8 note polyphony. The notes seem to drop right when you want them to.

A MFB seq-01 instructs a simmons SDS8 and two baby ten sequencers.
The baby ten in exchange controls the patterns of the MFB seq. In addition you can hear some chaotic vc-delay wobbles and a basic bassline via curetronic vco / vcf / vca / adsr.

It has been a long time since my last video, but I am back and once again thoroughly fascinating to be sure! Stare blankly at my mountain of synthesizers as I attempt to impress you with my continued reign of three-fingered kung fu wombat wizardry! Gawk splendidly at my three-ton brick of stupefying, scarf-wearing ho-hum I'm bored of typing.
This song is called "Circumfusion" and you'll find it on my CD "umop apisdn." If you like it, buy it! If you don't like it, buy it for your math teacher!"
