Analogue Solutions TC5000 "Deep Looper" Sequence No. 286

video upload by Analogue Solutions

"Here’s a simple sequence, 'Deep Looper' from the Analogue Solutions #TC5000 Patch Pin Matrix Synthesizer—recorded with no external instrumentation, FX, or processing. It demonstrates how you could build a track from a single analogue sequence.

With the TC5000’s vast sonic range, no single video can fully showcase its capabilities. We’ll be sharing more sequences to highlight different aspects of its sound design potential.

About the Patch:

The TC5000's pin matrix provides an extensive array of routing options, allowing for highly intricate and dynamic patches. A single pin can introduce subtle nuances or completely transform the sound.

In fact, the complexity of just one patch could warrant an entire essay!

In this sequence:

You'll need speakers with bass 🔊

-A simple sequence from the 5054 Sequencer modulates pitch for Oscillator 1 (VCO Module 5004) and is built upon by waveforms from the other 2 Oscillator modules.

-Oscillator 2 features a deep bass, and is being manually "played" via Module 5052 (Preset Voltage Module).

-Dual filters—the VCF-Multi (5047, SEM-style) and VCF-LP-CEM (5012, low-pass)—are actively modulated by the sequencer’s preset voltages.

-White noise is later introduced via the Dual Noise / Random module 5032."

Introducing Suonobuono Polyvera

You can find additional posts featuring Polyvera here.

"Polyvera is Suonobuono's first synthesizer. It is not a copy of old gear, but a modern homage to the iconic wavetable synths and samplers of the early 80s. It combines the characteristic digital artifacts of that era with true analog multimode filters for added warmth and versatility.

Suonobuono is a truly boutique manufacturer designing, prototyping and assembling its products in Stockholm, Sweden.

GForce Bass Station synth goes perfectly with Launchkey

video upload by Novation

"Based on a true story, GForce Bass Station is an expertly modelled recreation of our first ever synth released in 1993. Its digitally controlled analogue oscillators, filters, and VCAs from the late, great Chris Huggett’s legendary WASP synthesiser, gave it an unruly, lo-fi sound. Cementing its status as an underground icon, the original Bass Station featured on pivotal records from Radiohead, Orbital, Nine Inch Nails, and Wu-Tang Clan.

What's better, is how Launchkey MK4's creative tools and customisable mapping capabilities enable you to perform the digital recreation, not just play. Watch to see what you can do with Launchkey and the GForce Bass Station.

Bass Station fans will feel at home here, with the original hardware’s sound, feature list, and much of the interface faithfully recreated in exacting detail. However, GForce didn’t stop there. This digital descendent comes with modern enhancements and quality-of-life improvements we could only dream of in 1993.

The Bass Station plugin is included with every purchase of Launchkey MK4, SL MkIII, or FLkey and has been specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with each model. It is also available for purchase directly from GForce Software.

Announcing PATH an analog morphing router for audio & CV by DivKid & Vostok Instruments

video upload by DivKid

"Come and meet PATH the new DivKid & Vostok Instruments analog morphing router that is OUT NOW as assembled modules and DIY kits. Path builds on the interpolating scanner technology of Trace and performs the opposite function, rather than Trace doing 4 input scanning to 1 output, Path takes 1 input and morphs it across 4 outputs. Like a quad panner, open for creative audio and CV routing."

01:37 What is Path? Feature run down
03:08 Advanced FX sends with trails
06:19 Powerful modulation (+Trace combo!)
11:42 Unique panning FX (alternative to a quadrophonic panner)

Check with dealers on the right for availability.

"Path is a four-channel Interpolating Router created in collaboration between Vostok Instruments & DivKid.

Born from the roots of our previous module, Trace, Path picks its central concept and does something relatively simple yet powerful: it flips it.

The circuit routes one signal to four possible outputs, fading from one to the next following a soft slope response to ensure smooth transitions.

Path counts with Trace’s best features. It shares the same DC-coupled interpolating circuit at its heart, making it perfect for experimenting with any signal on any of its inputs.

Thanks to the fixed voltage normalled at its main input, Path is also a versatile and unique modulation source out of the box.

Its compact size and layout make Path a very performative and handy tool for adding an organic layer of movement and experimentation to every patch."

Moog Grandmother is a Drum Synth. Analog Patches Sound Demo

video upload by Anton Anru

"Drum Synth is a collection of 25 patches for the semi-modular Moog Grandmother, featuring 5 Kicks, 5 Snares, 5 Cymbals, and 10 Percussion sounds.
This is my fourth soundset for Grandmother, and this time, I wanted to explore its potential for percussive timbres.

📦 Get these sounds: https://antonanru.sellfy.store/p/gran...

🥁 Inspired by the character and sonic qualities of analog drum machines, I set out to recreate similar tones on Grandmother. Its analog oscillators, filter, and punchy envelope provide a solid foundation for deep, warm, and saturated drum sounds, while the patching capabilities open up a broad spectrum of sonic possibilities—ranging from FM and metallic tones to wooden, modular, noisy, and experimental textures.

🎹 Try different keys and octaves—the same patch can take on entirely different roles across a 3-4 octave range. If precise pitch is required, use the FINE TUNE control on the back panel, as modulation can shift the overall tuning.

🎛 One of Grandmother’s biggest advantages for percussion is the ability to finely tweak parameters and use the ModWheel for expressive control—something not possible on traditional drum machines. With real-time modulation and parameter adjustments, a single preset can generate dozens of variations, making each performance dynamic and unique.

💾 That's exactly what I did. I recorded hundreds of one-shot samples from each patch, capturing different pitches, durations, and tonal variations.

Alongside the 25 patches, you’ll also receive 678 percussive one-shots in WAV format (44.1kHz/24-bit): 188 Kicks, 105 Snares, 112 Cymbals, 273 Percussion sounds.

📖 The soundset comes in a PDF format, with each page explaining how the patch works, which parameters to tweak, and how to develop the timbre during a performance. If you follow these guidelines and experiment with the suggested settings, you'll gain deeper insight into the synth and its full potential.

🗄 Each patch includes an audio example to illustrate the intended sound.
To recreate these patches, you’ll need up to 8 patch cables.
Additionally, make sure your Grandmother is updated to firmware v1.1.3 or higher to access all necessary settings.

Wouldn’t It Be Good by Nik Kershaw from the album Human racing (1984)
Written by Nik Kershaw, produced by Peter Collins

Featured the Roland Juno-60, the Yamaha DX7 and the E-MU Emulator II

This cover song series contains my own recreations of my favourite songs from the last 50 years. The original music from which I take inspiration belong to their respective owners. I recreate tracks only for personal passion and to pay homage to these tracks.

My intention is not to create covers that sound exactly like the original (if you want to hear identical sounds, please listen the original). It's more of an inspiration with my sounds from the old synthesizers from the past and of course the great appreciation for the original performers and producers."

Perfect Pads - Soundset for Waldorf Iridium & Quantum synthesizer.

"This pack makes use of the various native sound engines of the Iridium/Quantum, which are blended with high-quality recordings of some of the biggest pad monsters in synth history, including the legendary MKS-80, Prophet-10, JX-8P and Matrix-1000. The result is a highly usable pack of presets with some of the widest and warmest pads available on the Iridium & Quantum, immediately usable for many different music genres or a great starting point for further tweaking.

Harry van Mierloo is an emerging international sound- and creative designer from the Netherlands. He blends the sound of classic analog synthesizers with the power of modern machines – perfect for artists seeking highly usable patches or fresh inspiration as a starting point for everyday day studio work. For many years, Harry has been fascinated by the wonderfully rich and emotional touch that pad sounds can add to music. He has now crafted and released his first official soundset called ‘Perfect Pads’ for the Iridium & Quantum.

Perfect Pads: A collection of 33 meticulously crafted pad patches for the wonderful Waldorf Iridium & Quantum synthesizer."

ANA 2 Patch Example - Taming Delay Feedback w/ Multimod

video upload by Mystic Circuits

"This patch is a particularly satisfying way to push the boundaries of delay feedback loops without destroying your ears or overwhelming the input. In this case we are using ANA's XOR output as a hard clipper to limit the overall voltage level of a delay feedback loop while also adding in an input signal using the SUM input. This technique allows us to simultaneously amplify a signal while also setting a hard boundary on how loud the signal can get. By using ANA to tame our feedback we are able to get the characteristic "bloom" effect of a high-feedback delay while making sure that we can always hear our input signal and also constantly add new material into the looping delay line. Here we explore this patch with the amazing Make Noise Multimod, also using our 3DVCA module to mix multiple taps together."

The TENORI-ON creates sequences in real time with its BOUNCE layer, processed through ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ LOSSY to add reverb, lo-fi effects, and filtering.

For the tape loop, a piano performance is pre-recorded and then processed with delay using ‪@gfisys‬ SPECULAR TEMPUS, with volume adjustments to bring sounds in and out."
