Division 6 Morpheum Eurorack Module Pics

Some pics of my new Division 6 Morpheum SN P004. Just docked it in my case sandwiched between the Division 6 Filtare SEIII and The Harvestman's Zorlon Cannon.  I only briefly fired it up and started plugging modulation sources into it, including the Zorlon Cannon, and I can tell this is going to be one interesting and very useful module.  Don't miss the overview video from George Mattson posted here.

Sound of Science is a transatlantic duo comprising Tom and Jason of Analogue Solutions.

Tom has been building synthesisers for over 15 years. He has supplied synths to people such as Trent Reznor, Martin Gore, Vince Clarke, Phil Oakey, Daniel Miller, and many more. The designs are directly influenced by his love of electronic music.

Jason is an analogue synth wizard, composer and a lover of all things that make noise. He also produces the legendary Rezfilter videos (see YouTube) that highlight these excellent synthesisers.

Together they have pooled their years of combined experience in songwriting and sound design to produce real songs using real synthesisers.

February Ends vocals via Jayden Frost:

Jayden Frost electrified audiences across the U.S. and Mexico as the voice and face of When in Rome (replacing Clive Farrington and Andrew Mann) on their extensive tour bringing his positive energy to stage performance, radio interviews and television. When In Rome, who's number one hit "The Promise" reached top ten on the pop charts, and #1 on the dance charts in 1989-1990 (and was the most recognized song in the blockbuster film Napoleon Dynamite).

In the absence of expression by MIDERA

"This album began as a simple question... can an album be created using a tool that is considered obsolete? After spending $100 on a used Roland MC-303, I decided to test this question. Less than 9 months later, I have found my answer, and it is within the electronic ebb-and-flow of this album I call 'In the absence of expression.' Sometimes somber, sometimes energetic electronica enclosed."

via Michael Dennis Raleigh on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge

"Releasing my second album. It was written using only the Roland MC-303. I've put the price at $0.00, so take it for free if you'd like (no one was buying it anyway!) and enjoy!"

Update: the release has been posted on MATRIXSYNTH CLASSIFIEDS and a link has been added to the top here on MATRIXSYNTH.  Thank you Michael!

"Two Cwejman RG-6's and two Braids (set to DRUMS) going crazy! The RG-6's are triggering the DRUMS physical simulation of the Mutable Instruments Braids. Random CV's from the RG-6's are being used to FM the DRUM models decay and inharmonicity parameters. Further experimentation with sample rate and other physical simulations are added for fun. Both DRUMS are run through the Cwejman QMMF-4."

"Three GREAT improvements that it had over its keyboard version were:

1) External Audio Signal Input that can be passed through its filter, envelope, LFO etc, and mixed with its original synthesizer waveforms
2) An integrated midi-to-CV convertor for controlling another vintage CV/Gate-equipped mono synth
3) 100 memory locations for storing your sounds, over only 7 that were available on the keyboard version."

You can find a video of the same SN unit previously posted here.

"Here is a very nice vintage Korg X-911 Guitar Synthesizer in fine shape, working perfectly 100%!
Shows some normal cosmetic wear, but overall good shape.
These were built like a tank. This is a killer synth with one unmistakable buttery all analog Korg filter on it.

The Korg X-911 is a very underestimated synth. What it was intended to be, was a stand alone guitar
synthesizer. What it now represents, is an all analog, quite unique, signal processor/effects unit.
Whereas a true guitar synth really requires its own dedicated pickup arrangement, this unit simply accepts
a standard 1/4" jack input. Just patch your guitar, microphone, or other instrument into the X-911 and
play one note at a time. Sporting both CV/Trigger inputs AND outputs, these features alone, make it quite
a powerful little synth. Awesome green suitcase NOT INCLUDED."

"Up for auction is a used Waldorf Miniworks 4-pole Filter module. The MiniWorks is a stand-alone 4-pole resonant analog filter and modulation module. Can be used for filtersweeps on entire drum & rhythm loops. Run any sounds, synthesizers or loops through it and filter them with the unique Waldorf filter. Comes with the original operation manual and an aftermarket 300mA DC converter. The finish on the Waldorf is a strange rough texture that shows finger prints and scratches easily. Have some photos to show the surface imperfections on this unit. Nice looking, but nowhere near perfect cosmetic condition. Functions perfectly though. Has 40 presets that 20 can be saved and overwritten by the user.."

Technosaurus Clylodon Analog Sequencer SN TCD-2043

"Up for auction is a rare Technosaurus Cyclodon. These are handmade in Switzerland. The Cyclodon is a 16-step analog sequencer. Uses CV and Gate outputs to control external synthesizers. Has internal clock to advance sequence step or can sync via Roland DIN. (Not a MIDI port just looks the same.)

This is a great 16 step analog sequencer. Fun to use with a quantizer for making melodic lines. Any length up to 16 notes possible with combo of switches.

Technosaurus Microcon Synthesizer SN TMC-2116

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

"Up for auction is a rare Technosaurus Microcon. These are handmade in Switzerland using discrete components. This monophonic synthesizer has a single oscillator with a sub octave generator. Oscillator outputs both square wave and saw waves mixed with the square sub-octave generator. The analog lowpass filter is switchable as either 2-pole (12dB/oct) or 4-pole (24dB/oct).. The LFO can modulate the filter cutoff frequency or VCO by square or triangle waves. Simple attack and decay envelope controls and VCO glide. The Microcon only uses CV and Gate for being controlled externally .Included with auction is an AC adapter and small instruction sheet for external patching. 3.5mm stereo patch cables are needed to access the VCO/VCF/gate/external audio inputs.

The Microcon sounds massive due to using discrete parts. Very vintage sounding with Swiss made quality.

KORG DSM-1 (RARE DSS-1 Rack Version Expanded!) 12 bit Sampler + Synthesizer SN 001702

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

"This is a GREAT 12-bit sampler with a synthesizer built in, which derives from the DW series of Korg's synths, actually the best and most advanced DW ever made! This has the same specs with the keyboard version DSS-1, but with expanded memory, 2x polyphony, individual outputs, most of the DW waveforms and an updated floppy drive. Voice architecture is model specific. Two polyphonic voice modes are provided. See detailed specs on the bottom of the listing….

The instrument works excellent, floppy drive is fully working and the display is great too! Cosmetically this is in a great condition, as you can see in the pictures. This has been treated with care, in a non-smoking studio environment.

This is a truly RARE and HARD TO FIND item, this is a DSS-1 on steroids, without all the wasted space from its keyboard. This sits perfectly in your rack of samplers/sound modules, and it comes with its rack ears (not displayed in the pics, as I've used it in a desktop environment). It also comes with its power cord (220V).

IT ALSO COMES WITH 3 PACKS OF FLOPPIES CONTAINING ALL ITS EXCELLENT FACTORY SOUNDS!!!

This is truly brilliant, both as a crunchy 12-bit sampler AND as a super-fat synthesizer. Treats your samples with all its synthesizer and sampling capabilities!

Detailed specs are as follows:

Aftertouch: routed to LFO, VCF cutoff, VCA level
Architecture Class: sampler additive subtractive
Audio IO: headphones, analog input 1 mix and 16 individual analog outputs
Audio Source: Waveforms can be created via additive synthesis (128 harmonics) or sampling. Samples are 12 bit (16kHz, 24kHz, 32kHz, 48kHz) and can be looped, including crossfade
Communication Interface: MIDI In, Out, Thru
Effects: None
EG: VCF and VCA EGs are 6 element (2 level, 4 rate) with polarity switch (VCF)
Expansion: 3.5" DSHD disk
Filter: low pass -24dB/oct
Form Factor: 3U rack
Key Scaling: VCF cutoff
LFO: routed to DCOs and VCF (with delay). Waveforms are triangle, up saw, down saw, square

Prophet-10 Sequencer Demo 1

Published on Apr 28, 2014 maisonvague·14 videos

"A brief demonstration of the Sequential Circuits Prophet-10 step sequencer. The notes and rests are first input arrhythmically by hand and then played back in strict rhythm according to the order in which they were entered. The tempo is determined by either an internal or external clock (in this case internal). The lower keyboard manual transposes both the sequence and the upper manual at the same time which can be a bit confusing because one is then playing in a different key from that which is sounding. Additional equipment used: Strymon el Capistan, Mackie 802 VLZ3, Zoom H1."

I really tried but I couldn't say no to this challenge!
This is an ineligible entry - but it was fun

All sounds come from the MicroKORG XL
Sounds are both presets and from KorgUSA
The sound 'Mining' is a converted R3 patch by Narfman96
A link to Narfman96 Narf bank-113 can be found here:
http://korgpatches.com/patches/microk...
This is a true treasure place for MicroKORG patches and patches in general.

I have played all parts live and sampled them into the MicroSAMPLER. In the video I play both live on the MKXL and unmute samples (triggered by the pattern sequencer of the MS).

Track name : EUROPEAN PROTEST! (I'd rather use the pen than the sword!)
This is of course an original track by me.

Thanks to VolcaRock for helping me out on my sound issue!

ENJOY!

Personally - if I could - I would vote for Metatron's Cube and their video entry for the Korg Micro Masterpiece Video Contest" [posted here]
