Learn More → https://www.minimal.audio/products/lucid
Unlock sounds that couldn’t exist until now with Lucid—our dream granular effect built for creating vivid textures, harmonies, rhythms, and transformations that stay in key and in time.
Explore over 350 presets across 13 packs, covering everything from harmonic layering and synced rhythms to shimmering spaces and total transformations—each built to get bold, track-ready results fast.
Check out the manual → https://www.minimal.audio/lucid-manual"
"Lucid is a next-generation granular effect that rebuilds any sound grain by grain into musical textures, harmonies, and rhythmic effects—always in key, in time, and fully under your control.
Lucid provides complete musical control over time and pitch, producing vibrant sounds that couldn't have existed before, always in key, without breaking creative flow.
Industry-first grain scale-locking automatically tunes every grain to your chosen scale, while timeline sync keeps stretching, freezing, and playback locked to your session. Together, they let you reshape pitch and time freely without losing the musical foundation, while additional per-grain effects provide detailed granular shaping capabilities.
With a music-first workflow, Lucid can be dropped onto any source and shaped immediately. From subtle layering to complete transformations, its presets, per-grain processing, harmonic tools, and deep modulation make it easy to start quickly and go as far as you want."

Vacuum Tube Ring Modulator Demo | Gritty, Raw & Analog
video upload by Stoel Music Systems
"What does a vacuum tube ring modulator actually sound like?
In this video, I take the Stoel Music Systems Vacuum Tube Ring Mod through a series of patches to explore its raw, gritty, and surprisingly musical character.
We start simple with sine waves and gradually bring in a second oscillator, different waveforms, detuning, envelopes, subs, and effects. Along the way, the Vacuum Tube Ring Mod goes from crunchy analog textures to metallic bell sounds and some surprisingly usable bass patches.
I also compare it directly with the Stoel Dual Ring Mod, our solid-state ring modulator. They perform the same basic job, but they definitely don't sound the same. The Dual Ring Mod is cleaner and more defined, while the Vacuum Tube Ring Mod has all kinds of grit, leakage, harmonics, and organic character.
Neither one is better—they're just very different flavors of ring modulation.
If you're into Eurorack, modular synthesis, vacuum tubes, or just making weird noises musical, this one's for you.
Let me know in the comments: tube or solid state?

Evolving Patch - Double Knot | Peterlin | Etherealizer
video upload by Lo-Fi-Si
"Lorre Mill - Double Knot V3
Ciat Lonbarde - Peterlin
Walrus Audio - Qi Etherealizer
Teenage Engineering - Sidekick
"Two banana synths patched together, sent into the 2 channel mixer with an effects loop via the Etherealizer.
Just a simple desktop noodle for nothing more than it was fun.
DK sends CV from Envelope B to the blue CV input on the Peterlin. This creates some synchronised pitch variations. Output from the Sidekick to the Etherealizer is via the Cue channels. The little mixer allows me to mix and mute the synths as well as introduce effects with more control for a small basic set up."

First Patch // Whimsical Raps - Atrium | Dark Ambient
video upload by Luukke
"This is the first preset/patch I have made on the Whimsical Raps - Atrium, and it was made in the first hour or so of getting it home.
I wanted to show it here, as I feel like a lot of the stuff I've heard online so far is in the pretty/beautiful category. But the Form engine in particular is wonderfully chaotic and capable of getting into much gnarlier territory. The patch itself tonally reminds me of some of the feedback patches i've done with the Serge.
Many many thank yous to Trent + Dani and everyone at Whimsical Raps. Atrium is incredibly inspiring, immediate and interactive. A true musical instrument.
Lightly processed in Ableton with delay from Echoboy."
TERRA LUNA MERCURIO | Doctor Fungus #arpoloop
video upload by LepLoop
"🌍 Voyage 5: A Meditative Return 🧘♂️
In the penultimate installment of The ArpoLoop Space Sessions, Doctor Fungus guides us through a more relaxed, reflective journey. We drift through the familiar resonances of TERRA, the soft pulses of LUNA, and the quiet, sun-drenched orbits of MERCURIO.
This session highlights the ArpoLoop’s ability to generate gentle, evolving textures. Watch as the note generator creates a space for meditation, with slow-moving sequences that mimic the peaceful drift of a satellite in orbit.

SuperStarSaw: Far beyond conventional supersaws!
video upload by CatSynth TV
"We present SuperStarSaws, a new instrument from Native Instruments and A. G. Cook that expands on the concept of supersaws. It has two supersaw oscillators, or swarms, where the individual sawtooth partials can be spread both in frequency and space beyond the traditional detuning associated with supersaws to create dynamic swarms of sound, strange arpeggios, and more. The graphic morpher in the center allows one to quickly and smoothly change parameters between saved settings.
Please consider supporting this channel to help us bring you more synthesizer tutorials and other content."

The Tone Garden - free generative browser based synth by Mycelium Sky
via Mycelium Sky
"The Tone Garden is a free generative synth in the browser. Fifteen voices, each hand-written in Web Audio, over a weather-driven ambient ground. Nothing to install, no signup, zero third-party requests — and the whole patch lives in the share URL, so a sound is a link you can pass around.
The licence on the page: anything rendered is free for anybody to use, monetized or not, no credit required — and it's forward-only, so if the terms ever change, whatever's already been made stays free permanently.
Plain fact, since your readers care about this one: the record behind the project was made with generative AI; the instrument has not one AI-generated byte in it. Both stated on the site."

Beetlecrab Tempera meets Novation Mininova sounds - sonic chaos!
video upload by hirundo1984
"Alright, there are nearly endless possibilities of exploring various sounds and creating something new. This might be a very interesting combo."
Beetlecrab Tempera - after 3 days of using it
video upload by hirundo1984
"I recently received my unit from Beetlecrab and was super excited about it! At this moment I'm still learning the very basics, trying to figure out what is what, how do things work etc.
There are things that I find pretty straightforward, others are still confusing. Overall, the menu diving isn't bad at all, most of the things are pretty intuitive.
What is new to me (that's my first granular device) is how exactly do these emitters work, I will need to spend some time with the manual. They all behave differently.
Anyway, so that's one of my first attempts to create something on this wonderful device. Hopefully within next week or two I can learn a thing or two and come up with something different."

The Strangest, Most Interesting Synth He's Played This Year (Morphor Echon6)
video upload by Starsky Carr
"The Morphor Echon6 is the world's first analog modal polysynth — a genuine departure from the wall of subtractive synths flooding the market right now. In this review and demo I dig into its Karplus-Strong-based exciter and resonator, six voices you can split into six independent monosynths, and a modulation system so intuitive it doesn't need a menu. Full raw demo at the end so you can hear it completely unprocessed.
WHAT IS MODAL SYNTHESIS?
Modal synthesis uses a Karplus-Strong oscillator — an exciter (like a pluck, bow, or hammer) run through a resonator (like a string or instrument body) — to fake physical, plucked/struck sounds. First proposed by Kevin Karplus and Alexander Strong back in 1982, you'll recognise the concept from modules like Mutable Instruments Plaits, Rings and Braids, and digital oscillators in synths like the Arturia MiniFreak and Korg Minilogue XD. The Echon6 takes that same idea and builds it entirely in analog circuitry — as far as I know, the first synth to pull that off.

MY TAKE
The Echon6 is a genuinely fresh alternative to the current glut of subtractive synths — your Jupiters, Junos, Prophets, and OB-style clones. It felt natural within minutes, the modulation is some of the cleverest I've used on any hardware synth, and the build quality is excellent. Compared to the Erica Synths Steampipe (digital modal synthesis), the Echon6 is easier to learn, while the Steampipe can get more chaotic, faster, thanks to its distortion and reverb. Both are worth a look if experimental modal synthesis is your thing — but the Echon6 gets a big thumbs up from me.

MOOG Sound + Drone Sound
video upload by Laurent Baloran
"In this example of The River 2’s multitimbrality, Timbre A is a typical 'MOOG' sound, while Timbre B is a heavily modulated sound with the VCA constantly open. Also note the musicality of the glide ;)
All of this is achieved with a 4-voice prototype ;) The final version will have 8, (12?) or 16 voices. The final panel won’t look exactly like the application, but it will retain the same ergonomic layout and organization as the software.
-------------------------------
