"Dude is a portable battery operated 5 channel audio mixer with mini jack inputs and output. Each channel has a dedicated mute button and up to +20dB gain to boost weak signals and saturate line level signals. It is a monophonic mixer but can drive your headphones and therefore its perfect for small portable rigs or submixes on stage. It runs on four AA batteries (or external power supply) and it is almost as small as its battery pack. Because each channel has enough gain it can be turned into a tone generator by feeding the output back to an input thru a passive eq and other simple circuits.

"My first 24 hours with the Vermona Retroverb Lancet - tested in different setups - at first with Roland Jp-08, then with the Arturia Microbrute and at least with the Roland Tr-09. The Microbrute was sequenced with the Dreadbox Kappa2.

"ROLAND SH-1 monophonic analog synthesizer, the first of Roland's revolutionary SH line of synthesizers that spawned such classics as the SH-101, SH-09 and SH-7.
The unit appears to be working fine, all the keys and knobs and sliders working well to the best of my knowledge. Maybe a slight scratch noise on some of the sliders, which could do with some adjustment/servicing if required.
Cosmetically the unit is in nice condition as you can see. There are some wear and minor marks here and there but nothing too major."

"A small patch with four voices being sequenced by one sequencer, but only one voice (STO) plays the actual sequence. I used a sample & hold on another voice (AJH VCO+VCF) to make it play a reduction of the sequence. I used Maths and uScale to create two voice polyphonic noodle from Complex Oscillator on top of the base sequence. This makes it sound a bit like a crossover of chiptune and carnival music."

"Just a quick test of the new 1.3 Firmware update for the Intellijel Metropolis. I tested the Ratcheting per stage feature as well as using Aux A to transpose the notes from the QuNexus Keyboard, and Aux B to play the Ratcheting in realtime. I couldn't get the new Saving feature to work for some reason. Metropolis is sequencing the Make Noise 0-Coast, with Delay from the 4MS Dual Looping Delay, and Reverb (and a touch of granular stuff) from the Mutable Instruments Clouds."
"Here's a long delayed (excuse the pun!) video on using SGS (SLice groove sequencer) to do a live reverse.
If you're accustomed to using the SGS feature of the Reflex then this will be easy for you! If not, better look at the manual first.
The idea is to record a single loop in R/P mode, which will also create a single Slice.
That Slice is then hand played as a simple SGS being cohesive to the original loop's "beat" or length.
(This can also be done with a clock on SGS etc etc, but by hand is so much more fun and quick to do!)
Now the SGS is playing the single slice (as a groove ..or not) with the song or track still playing into the Reflex, hit the Record button to start recording inside the SGS loop area.
Your SGS sequence will be updated with the new recording, and as long as the tempo is still the same, it'll sound great!
Now try reverse on PlayFX STart/End knobs and voila! Live reverse, in sync, and on time."

Sebastian at diysynth.me lovingly built my Ambika last week with custom peek-a-boo clear front panel.
I have to say I have NEVER jelled with a new synth like I have with this Ambika. It's great fun, the menu is simple and the sound is amazing and I'm not saying that lightly. I've only had it a few days and just scratching the surface but the modulation matrix and individual voice parameters just bring every patch alive. It's got a similar "living" sound feel that my AN1x has. The Ambika is a hybrid digital/analogue synth.
I thought I'd make a Multi and a quick melody - I've used 4 voices for the first patch and one each for the other two patches. All played together in one take, with drums from the Revolution plugin and just a touch of reverb on the Ambika."

"Special Stage Systems has taken the SN76489AN chip that was the sound chip in many 80's video game machines and built a synthesizer voice around it with function generators, CV controls and presets. The Oscilliographic Block can create great 8-bit drum sounds and melody lines. It has two square wave voices and a noise voice with white and periodic noise types. There are 6 programmable function generators that can produce smooth or stepped waveforms. These function generators can be used like modulators, LFOs, envelopes or sequencers. 4 CV inputs can control pitch, amplitude and the speed of the function generators. The clock that runs the SN chip can even be adjusted to over or underclock for different pitch ranges. There is a 1V/octave scaling for playing the sounds in tune as well.

"William, the founder and lead designer at WMD hardly finds time in his busy schedule to make music anymore. However, to celebrate the release of the Arpitecht, our newest module, he put a patch together showing off what he had in mind when designing the module.
The result was an awesome, lo-fi vibe paired with a half-time, hip hop style beat that brought every one in the shop out to the front room to see what was going on. We had a blast filming this performance and hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it."
"Prophet ’08 Successor Boasts Expanded Polyphony, Digital Effects, Waveshaping Capabilities
San Francisco, CA—May 18, 2017—Dave Smith Instruments today began shipping the Prophet Rev2, a new 16-voice analog synthesizer designed to be a successor to their popular Prophet ’08 poly synth. Like its predecessor, the Prophet Rev2 features two DCOs per voice, and Curtis filters at the heart of its sound engine, but boasts a number of significant enhancements designed to make it more powerful.
Said Dave Smith: “The Prophet Rev2 came out of our desire to enhance and improve everything we could about the original Prophet ’08 and, in many cases, double its power. The most obvious difference between the Prophet Rev2 and its predecessor is polyphony. The Prophet Rev2 has 16 voices as its standard configuration — twice the polyphony of the Prophet ’08. (An 8-voice option is also available, as is a voice expansion card for 8-voice users wishing to upgrade to 16 voices at a later date.) Since the synth features bi-timbral operation, two completely independent sounds can be stacked or split (layered together or assigned to two different zones on the keyboard).
Additional features include waveshape modulation, a sub oscillator per voice, digital effects, a modulation matrix twice as extensive as its predecessor, a polyphonic step sequencer that allows up to 64 steps and up to 6 notes per step, a gated sequencer that provides 4 different 16-step sequences for complex modulation, and an arpeggiator.
