"Good qualiyty video, best on here. Very rare, I recorded this from Top Of The Pops in 1981..Classic. .British New Wave rock band. They were one of the primary exponents of the British electronic pop music movement of the early 1980s. The band was particularly associated with the New Romantic and New Wave movements. Until 1979, the frontman of Ultravox was John Foxx who left the band to embark on a solo career. Following Foxx's departure, Midge Ure took over as lead singer, guitarist and frontman, and he helped to steer the band to commercial success. Ure left the band in 1987 after establishing a solo career and the group disbanded for a while. A new line-up, led by sole original bandmember Billy Currie, was formed in 1992,.."

"Hi my name is Solvent and this is the first video I've made with the Eurorack modular system that I'm currently putting together. Mainly it's demonstrating the sound of the DinSync OSC303 VCO (Roland TB-303 VCO clone) and Bubblesound Sem20 VCF, as well as an interesting effect I came across when sending a Portamento'd sequence through a CV quantizer module, in this case an Intellijel uScale.

Drums are coming from Ableton Live, which is also clocking the MFB Urzwerg analog sequencer. When I turn up the MFB's glide/portamento amount, you can hear the quantizer changing the note glide into several quantized intervals, for a cool video game / 8-bit type of sound.

The key changes are coming from the SH-101's CV-out into the uScale's Shift CV-in. This input is not 1v/oct, which explains the fact that the key intervals I'm playing don't match the Shift intervals you hear."

"Generative patch recorded live. Some details include two Oakley Equinoxe (one Deep Equinoxe) phasers. A new Oakley Super Diode Ladder filter. Yusynth Random Gates module for long period modulation routing.
The Deep Equinoxe phaser sports a bastard front panel made from a 1U Dotcom blank which has been drilled many times for other prototypes. The finished panel is developing in two stages. I am making an engraved panel in my shop as an interim until the final panel is made by Big Blue Wave. There is a paper layout next to it at the beginning of the video.
This is a live take and the outboard gear includes a Strymon Blue Sky reverb, a TC Electronics D-Two delay and a Lexicon MX200 delay in dual pitch shift mode."

Synth-Project The Alphatron SP - Rack Controller

"The Alphatron SP - Rack Controller for H.G.Fortunes VST Instrument in combination with the Pure-MCone Controller

The Alphatron SP Controller is a Rack Version. This Rack Version will be sitting above the Pure-MCone. The advantage is, that i only need one 10“ Touchscreen and one 5 Keyboard to control both VST Instruments.

With the HOST Program „Candabile Solo“, which is a Multi-Rack Software for VST Instruments and Effects, i can load both VST Intruments into two different Slots and give them a different Midi Chanel.

That means, that i use at the end 4 Doepfer Midi Interfaces with up to 254 ! Midi CC to control both VST Instruments at the same time.

So i have a total of 3 Oscillators, 3 Sample Player, 6 LFO´s, 4 Envelopes, many Modulations and 2 Step Sequencer. That all can run together.

With the Midi Keyboard i can choose the Midi Channel very quickly, so i can play both VST Instruments together or one with the Keyboard and the other with the Step Sequencer or, or, or .
This case is total 90 cm x 57 cm (about 35 inch x 23 inch)"

My external audio recorder wasn't set right so I only have the sound from the camera's mic and I'm using a new camera and lighting so I still need to experiment with settings to get it to look good. Also first time recording and rendering at 1080p. (not sure why the border is flickering :-/)

"Roland TR-808 Analogue Drum Machine, with original flight case, plastic cover sheet, owners manual, and a Kenton Kadi conversion kit...

I had previously installed a Kenton Kadi kit, which is included in the sale, but when I powered up the 808 and programmed a few rhythms into it, it didn't play the hand claps or hi-hats as they should, although sound was still coming out, just a bit quieter and a little oddly. I then played the 808 via my Kenton Pro2000 Kadi port, and all of the sounds worked perfectly. I decided to remove the Kadi port, and since then the 808 has been playing all of the sounds perfectly well. The Kadi port is included in the sale, so if you want you can re-install the kit so that you can play the 808 over midi. That is if you have a Kenton Kadi controller, and you are reasonably good at soldering! The down side is that removing the Kadi port has left an unsightly hole in the right side panel of the 808, but this does not affect the sound or performance in any way."
