"The STRETCH expander on is a rare piece that could be purchased separately that had to be installed on your own or by your favorite tech... he Stretch adds the two things DX owners want most of all: more sounds and more features for older model DX drum machines. For Those DX Machines, features are added like variable clock, auto start, cue tempo, midi clock out & more.
Each stretch voice has its own buttons, tuning, output jack and level control for the mixed output of the DX.
Zif sockets are included to make it easier to add new sounds, containing chip locations for 4 more rows. 4 position: 3 Pitch row(1 chip), 3 Volume(1 chip), 2 Sounds(2 sounds on 1 chip), Long Sound(1st chip 1 sound 2nd chip 2 volumes)"
The DX line had plastic wood sides. You'll find some pics of the inside below.
"Here's a patch we made to show the new Analogue Systems rs450 CV Recorder/Sequencer and the Cwejman MMF-2 Stereo Multi-mode Filter module. The Cwejman MMF-2 is filtering a basic saw wave bass from the Cwejman VCO-2RM running into a version of lowpass on the MMF-2. The kick and snare were created using Analogue Systems modules. The sixteenth note percussion is a modulated Cyndustries Zeroscillator through a Cwejman VCA, opened by the Cyndustries Four Transients module.
We've pre-recorded a few CV sequences into the incredible new Analogue Systems rs450 CV Recorder/Sequencer. It's being clocked by an A.S. rs200 sequencer (which is running the whole patch actually). We are switching between four or five preset sequences which in turn is controlling the pitch of a Cwejman RES-4 module.
The rhythms for this patch are derived from the 4ms Shuffling Clock Multiplier and we're also using a 4ms PEG module as a slow modulation source for the MMF-2. Rad!"

"Here is a demo of 3 apps working together on the same iPad. MIDI is being sent from BeatMaker 2 to sunrizer synth for iPad, and MoDrum is Clock Syncing with BeatMaker, to make all of the apps play at the same time. This can be of use if you're looking to experiment with a drum machine on top of another synth app, for example...
Development update on the upcoming Raspberry Pi synth. See the label below for more.
"OK, I cannot tune the latency to any lower than this without totally busting my head, so I'm pushing this particular stack and will move on to how to get sounds of out I2S. Which involves getting my hands on a rev 2 board or 2."

"Synth jam / music video featuring Korg R3 synth/vocoder, Korg Monotribe analog synth (routed to guitar amp sim + reverb in Live), fretless bass for melody part, some prepared loops in Live, vacuum cleaner that was recorded and then mangled with Sugar Bytes Turnado (which in turn is controlled from iPhone TouchOSC).
I made 3D fractal scene with amazing free app Mandelbulber and wireframe model in Poser. Other videos from youtube (Japanese vacuum cleaner ad, vintage Hoover ad and NASA's Kepler space telescope videos)"

"The MS-10 is a cool & classic analog synth known for its great bass and percussive sounds. It was released by Korg in 1978 as an entry-level, simple monophonic single-VCO analog synthesizer. With the authentic look of a mini-modular its single VCO is patchable using standard 1/4 inch patch cords to the VCF and VCA. It really is a powerful little mono-synth with plenty of knobs and a compact 32-note keyboard. It is CV/Gate controllable. A very cool feature is its external input to filter which allows you to filter external sound sources!..."

"This is an as new unit. Perfect order throughout. It is the model without the cv/gate on the back however it does have predrilled holed for the cv/gate.
4 mono synths with LFOs each envelope for amp pitch and filter, glide , FM for osc or VCF. sync to osc or lfo for each synth section. can be played in a number of ways for each section with an option for a 4 note polyphonic synth.
Has the meatiest and warmest sound of any modern analog i've come across, obviously they have spent alot of time working on actual sound quality aswell as features.
good midi implementation for the controls available. Individual outputs (aswell as main stereo) and EXT in on each section. Very good for plugging other kit in and using the filters or FM to further develop sounds.

"That's right, it's a RES-4. Cwejman stuff is built like a freaking tank, plus it sounds amazing. This module gives you four channels of resonant parametric equalisation with notch and bandpass outputs, which lets you change the character of what you put into it either subtly or dramatically. These don't come up for sale very often, either new or second hand, so don't miss out on this chance to get the module that all the cool kids want. In this case, the hype is justified!"

"Here's a quick rundown on the philosophy behind the JD-800, taken directly from the User Manual...
'Today, fewer and fewer people actually create their own sounds, and simply play presets or sounds created by programmers. However, the original purpose of the synthesizer was to "create sound". It's easy to simply select a preset you like, but that sound will always be "someone else's sound". We at Roland asked, "Why don't we return to the roots of synthesis; the enjoyment of creating original sounds?" We considered many different ways in which we could bring back the fun of creating sounds, and the result is the JD-800 before you. "Creating sounds" may seem like a highly technical process, but it's actually just a matter of moving a slider to make the sound change! This is easy for anyone, and the sounds that you get will always be your very own. The JD-800 is designed to make it fun to create sounds. So please go ahead and move those sliders! We hope you will make lots of different sounds; original sounds with which to play your original music.'"

"This is the earlier model and is capable of duophonic (the two oscillators can be played separately) and each oscillator has a separate S/H feature, but it is not an SRM version because it doesn't have SRM written on the back and also looks different from the SRM (i.e. no LFO delay in the ADSR section, different knobs, etc.). The unit is in excellent cosmetic condition and is working great. Note the noise level slider is missing its slider cap. Similar in design to the Arp Odyssey but with its own unique sound and tone and has a more complex modulation matrix. You can mix all different waveforms and suboctaves of each oscillator with the output of the other. Overall this unit is a very good example of this rare synth."

Micromac-d casebuild by macbeth synthesizers "Whilst fitting up the Micromac-D for test within the casing that I’ve been given a sample of…I tested the unit for sound- It’s sounding fabulous! I couldn’t resist recording this track. I plugged the CV OUT into the Voltage in of LFO2. LFO2 is set to a ramp wave. LFO1 is set to S&H and it’s sampling LFO2 as it’s sample source. LFO1 is gating the synthesizer. What you hear from the start is Oscillator 1 and 3 in the left and right channels direct into the right and left. The filtered synthesiser mix is brought up shortly after. Resonance is pretty high here adding some real squelchyness! This has been recorded as a one take direct into my Fostex FD-8. Also used for the echo is an ART LTX preset reverb/echo unit…fascinating sounds…completely analogue and olde school!"
