"Fully functional, all the knobs, keys and buttons work as they should. Great synth for lush pads, funky basslines and cosmic sound fx and all the fun unpredictability of an old vintage synth. I really love the gigli upgrade beacuse increases the reslolution for sound parameters, faster amd smother filter envelopes, improves the tunning procedure and it has full midi in control of parameters."
"First of the TRAVL series. Music composed and recorded on the banks of Buffalo River, in Jasper Arkansas 1/28/18. Features Warm Juno Pads and Arpeggiating Moog Synths inspired by the surrounding nature."
"Korg Polysix that was recently upgraded with a Kiwisix upgrade and brand new power supply. Work was done by Boomer at La Synth Co. about 6 months ago - He also gave it a complete overhaul and tuneup and restored everything to like new. ($700 in repair and upgrade work) It sounds amazing and is in pristine operating condition. Cosmetically there are a few blemishes - corners scuffs and scratches on edges as seen in pics."
"In my series of demonstrating capabilities of the synthesizers I own, this video is for the E-Mu Turbo Phatt Urban Dance Synth. I got this underrated rack synthesizer at a pawn shop for $110, well worth the price. This synth is aimed towards hip-hop music and dj's."
"First night with the new Moog DFAM. I quickly came to realize that this isn’t just a drum synth. This whole track was made with just the DFAM.
This thing is super fun.
Effects were from Boss DD5 delay, Ekko 616 delay, and MXR M300."
DFAM Moog : song 2

"A big 'thank you' to those of you guys who checked out my first DFAM vid. I’ve been having a lot of fun with this thing since I picked it up!
At the end of my first week with the DFAM I really wanted to get out a second piece of music with it.
I added a few elements from other pieces of gear and sang on this track but nothing too crazy. I wanted to try something on the opposite end of the spectrum from the first DFAM track I posted up showing the unit as a capable melodic synth.
"Formally introduced to synthesis by Suzanne Ciani as her studio assistant, Layne (real name Rachel Aiello) composes field recordings, abstract auditory textures, and rhythmic concrète churns into a hypnotic aural terrain reminiscent of the inceptive work from her seminal female forebears in experimental electronics. Recently released on Karl O’Connor’s legendary Downwards Records, she displays her proficiency in creating a vast soundscape and spatial atmosphere. Most recently, she has performed a collaborative set with Suzanne Ciani for Always On, a Moogfest hosted streaming series.
We chatted with Rachel about how she’s using the OB-6."
"Cactus-powered synths, a bed that vibrates to bass frequencies, a theremin-controlled video wall and more.
Last month, Moog transformed a bungalow in Los Angeles neighborhood Echo Park into a synth wonderland called the House of Electronicus, filled with instruments and custom-built installations. Alongside the Asheville company’s new Drummer From Another Mother semi-modular percussion synth, there was a cactus-powered synthesizer, theremin-controlled video screens and even a synth-connected bed that vibrated to different bass frequencies.
FACT visited Moog’s one-of-a-kind house to experience it first-hand, where we spoke with Moog about how it all worked and beat scene linchpin Daedelus on why the new Drummer From Another Mother could be a Moog classic in the making. Watch above, and check out FACT’s photos from the event for more visuals of the House of Electronicus.

"Experiments with Ornament & Crime 'Viznutcracker, sweet!' mode into Braids generated several minutes of digital glitch sounds. These were then edited into a Morphagene reel (and one-shot sample pack).
The sounds are useful in isolation. Single splices can be looped and stretched into drones, triggered as percussion effects, etc.
Patch Notes: All sounds are generated from Morphagene control via Rene and Pressure Points. The PP selects which reel is played via the top row of voltage relative to the Organize knob. Rene sends static voltage to control both the sample playback speed, and the Echophon's pitch. PP gate pressure is used to change the slice size (more pressure for smaller slices).

"Very cool sequencer. Comes w/ CVIO expansion board installed and Burr Elm wood ends, very beautiful. If CV is your thing you would still need to order the external cvio breakout box to connect to cv hardware, it's available on the sequentix website... Built in December of 2017 out of Sequentix's new Berlin factory..."

"The analog filter #3 is arguably one of the quirky aspects of the Roland JD-XA that makes it stand out, from a sonic standpoint.
In this video, we explore the chaotic - indeed STOCHASTIC - nature of filter 3, and give a few examples on how a touch of resonance can instantly create an organic sound that can move between screeching and gentle bubbling, or just add a bit of useful noise backdrop to your patch."
"A song made with the Korg iMono/Poly and ODYSSEi iOS apps in the form of the Montpellier and Lexington gadgets inside the Korg Gadget iOS app, which emulate the Korg Mono/Poly and ARP Odyssey vintage analog synthesizers. Huh? Oscilloscope visualizations made with K machine iOS app."

"Stranger Things theme remake using OP-1 by Teenage Engineering.
* final song start at: 5':43"
Using stock presets tricked by me except drum sampled from "Savin' The Day" by Alessi (appear in Ghostbuster movie) using a vintage WalkMan DAT player from 80's era to make unique 80's flavoured remix, highlighting the already nostalgia style of famous theme originally scored by Survive.
"My last live jam went down so well I decided to do a round two, this time I used a Korg Monotribe, PO-12 by Teenage Engineering and a Microgranny by Bastl Instruments. For you tech heads the Monotribe is sending a CV sync to the PO-12 and the Microgranny has some external effects running through Logic Pro X. This video was filmed on a GoPro and iPhone."
"Hello. Just playing around with the the Fog Theme. Nothing Major.
Lead is being played by two Mother 32's.
Assist lead by a FM patch from Dexed.
Stabs from Omnisphere and Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch to add more depth and atmosphere. I used Valhalla Shimmer reverb on pretty much everything and Soundtoys Crystallizer to make those fluttering synth harmonics."
"For video 8 of my Freesound Reel explorations with the Make Noise Morphagene I take a look at the awesome NK MS-20 reel Noah Kalos. This has inspired a new ambient modular track from me that I'll be releasing soon. If you're a Patreon supporter you'll have a full patch and track breakdown showing how the track was made.
"This is a relatively short clip, but conveys an idea I’ve not seen elsewhere. The idea is to get out of the monotony of “standard” repetitive LFO shape modulation by applying a wavefolding to a regular LFO, creating much more rhythmically interesting patterns. These new complex LFO shapes can then be applied to any number of destinations (AMP, filter, oscilliator shape, etc).
I’m showing it using the MiniBrute 2 and TipTop Audio Fold Processor but you can really use any “metalizer” or wave folder for this, as long as you can send it an input and receive its output. Digitone is in the background here sending chord pads to show this can be applied to any source of audio."
"A sci-fi, melodic, semi-self-generating modular patch using a small Eurorack setup sent through an Eventide Space modechoverb reverb and an Eventide Timefactor on banddelay setting. No other processing has been applied.
I finally decided to make a patch that wasn't just randomly triggered notes - this is based on a simple looping arpeggio with a bass drone. While playing around with modulation I managed to end up with a loop of 'building up'; the cut-off frequencies, frequency of the synced oscillator, and several other parameters all increase at once before quickly falling. Random stepped voltages from the Mother 32s' Assign outputs make each 'build' unique. I also had bleed from Math's channel 1 LFO through 3 stackcables into the Minimod OSC's v/oct input, which replaced the keyboard output from the arpeggiated Mother 32 - while I ended up liking it in this patch, it's a good reminder to get some proper mixers and multiples, since stackcables aren't perfect!
I decided to call this piece 'Spaceport' because the building and sudden fall made me think of spaceships powering up and then suddenly taking off.
If you want to recreate this patch, you can find it here:

"Here is the Moog DFAM Drummer from another mother being triggered by Pamela's new workout while the DFAMs' sequencer is running.
The Snare sound is the Distings' H7 noise Algorithm. Pam is throwing an envelope at it and modulating the noise type with an LFO at x24 speed to give it that snare rattle sound. Cool trick I thought...
Omsonic Pixel Dust is doing its thing with the high hat sound being swept by Maths Ch#1...
Malekko Noisering is fed into Make noise LxD and the LxD is being gated by the Pulse out on the Erica synths RND module.
Erica synths RND Pluse out is syncing the Intellijel Dixie II+.
The Dixie is in LFO mode and modulating the Malekko Noisering.
LFO and S&H from Erica RND is further modulating the Noisering.
The Noisering is providing the glitchy sound.
The other Disting is being used as a delay which you can see use of at the end of the video...
Honestly I was looking for a way to use the Noisering differently and I came up with this funky groove... it is a good example of the DFAM being triggered by something else while its sequencer is running through some pitch data... If you watch the lights on the DFAMs' sequencer you can see where one bass drum sound will jump between two sequencer steps and do a note glide.... Bass drum Glide!
Hmmm.... I'll have to experiment with that some more....
Sweetness..."
