EVERYTHING SYNTH
"Rare 1986 Casio SK-100 8-bit sampling keyboard custom modified with a 25 point modulation patch bay and pitch control section mounted on a metallic graphite externally attached console with a unique solid aluminium 1970s Hitachi 'wedge' knob. This is a weird, unpredictable, lo-fi and chaotic sampling instrument with a warm gritty sound which will inspire any alternative electronic musician and sound designer.

We have rebuilt the algorithmic structure and user interface to better suit modular usage. The 700 Voice features a unique sound synthesis approach, incorporating elements of both classic FM and phase synthesis. Although it is a monophonic oscillator, we have endowed it with complex and powerful sound-shaping capabilities, as well as the design space to continue developing new algorithms in the future. The module is available in both standalone and expanded versions.
"I purchased this Fairlight CMI IIx about 6 years ago from a music store out of Colorado. After having the unit freighted to New Jersey, I would take yearly trips to have a good friend and excellent repair tech Mike Walters out of Chapel Hill, NC to do various repairs and general maintenance on most of my vintage gear. I had purchased both a IIx and a Series III, which he documented part of the journey on his Mystery Circuits website (Google to have a look!)
