4) Unison mode is working now

5) Three sets of 100 factory sounds in EPROM:

a) 80 Max + 20 Six track Unison factory sounds

b) 100 Six Track factory sounds

c) 100 Multi-Trak factory sounds (without chorus or vel sens, of course)

d) CC parm changes to current program can be saved to program 99, then copied to any other program

NEA Rhodes Chroma Polyphonic Aftertouch Demo

Published on Jan 27, 2016 New England Analog LLC

"This video demonstrates the NEA Polyphonic Aftertouch Upgrade for Rhodes Chroma. In this video, the Chroma is transmitting polyphonic aftertouch messages via MIDI to control the sounds on the Kurzweil Forte, which also supports polyphonic aftertouch. All of the sounds heard in this video are from the Forte. The arpeggiated background synthesizer was created using the Forte's new step sequencer arpeggiator function. The pad is a VAST model of a CS-80 style synth voice, where the poly AT is routed to volume and filter swells. Each note can be modulated by poly AT independently of the others. It's a lot of fun to play."

Audulus 2 Minute Tip - 12: How to Turn a Timer into a Saw LFO

Published on Jan 27, 2016 Bimini Road

Get Audulus for: iOS | Mac | Windows/Linux

"This is a simple way to turn a timer into a Saw LFO for those who want to shave away every bit of CPU time they can (the Phasor LFO uses fractionally more CPU time). Unlike the Phasor LFO, however, you can see that it doesn't act predictably when you change the speed, and the speed control is not independent from the amplitude.

For more reading about the modulo operation, check out this enlightening Wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modulo_...

The 2 Minute Tip series breaks apart topics on Audulus into bite-sized chunks. I don't talk during the tutorials (though there are a few notes that pop up), and this is so that international viewers who don't understand English well don't feel left out. Familiarize yourself with the node menu and my navigation won't be so mystifying. In the future, we'll develop a finger press indicator so you can see where I'm tapping.

Yamaha UD-BT01 and MD-BT01 - Turn any MIDI Controller Into a Bluetooth MIDI Controller

Yamaha Bluetooth MIDI - NAMM 2016 Published on Jan 27, 2016 Ask.Audio

What's cool about this is you can turn any device with MIDI into a Bluetooth MIDI device. You do not need to attach anything to your phone, tablet or computer. Just enable Bluetooth and pair it.

"Yamaha UD-BT01 and MD-BT01 Offer Bluetooth Wireless Connectivity for Electronic Keyboards and Drum Kits

ANAHEIM (January 21, 2016) — Yamaha today introduced the UD-BT01 and MD-BT01 Wireless MIDI Adaptors. The MD-BT01 and UD-BT01 connect synthesizers, keyboards and electronic drum kits to Mac computers and iOS devices for a variety of applications – from education and instrument editing, to full-scale music production.

Both the MD-BT01 and UD-BT01 send and receive MIDI data over Bluetooth LE. The UD-BT01 connects to instruments with USB to HOST MIDI connectivity, while the MD-BT01 is designed for instruments with traditional 5-pin DIN MIDI in and out ports.

'These products give keyboardists and drummers unprecedented freedom,' said Mark Anderson, director of marketing, Keyboard Division, Yamaha Corporation of America. 'Now, connecting instruments to a computer can be done wirelessly, making it even easier to tap into the wide variety of creative and educational software applications.'

The wet/dry is adjusted until %50 wet signal and then I play with the global pitch shifting and then assign one of the Aux controls to Grain size.
Towards the end I freeze the buffer to create a loop that I manipulate and then unfreeze it at the end to go back into realtime input processing."

Roland Jupiter 6 Europa Magnetic Quick Reference Cheat Sheet Overlays

Seven different styles. Pictured in order: Neon, Spectrum, Monochrome, JP-6 Basic, Blue "OUTLANDER", Green "Alien Gutz", and RED "Terminated". Click here for all.

"The kit is comprised of 12 tiles that magnetically adhere to the Jupiter 6 operations panel. The process of adding the magnets is quick, easy and with zero mess. As no gluing, sticking or adhesives is involved the process is totally reversible and will not affect the condition (or the value) of your synth. The tiles can be added and removed at the operator’s discretion.

The magnets are of high quality durable materials and are UV resistant. It is the same material used on car magnets.

To further customize the look and visual feel of your Jupiter 6 the kit is available in 7 different “themes”. Buy one to transform the ease of use and look of your Europa’ed Jupiter 6, or buy them all and continually change up the look of your synth!

o JP-6 Basic – designed and colored for the Jupiter 6 traditionalist who wants the Europa Quick Reference kit to blend in with the original look of the synth. Original JP-6 fonts and colors (blue, purple, orange, Arial) are used along with a few new accented highlights.

o JP-6 Neon – Subdued yet colorful, this scheme lends city night life subtlety to the look of the Jupiter 6.

o JP-6 Spectrum – From ultra violet to infrared, this fun color scheme crosses the full visual light spectrum to give your Jupiter 6 a look unlike any other synth on the planet.

o JP-6 Monochrome – This bare bones, stripped back color scheme is a tip of the hat to the look of synths of old such as Moogs, Arps and Modular Synths.

o JP-6 Terminated – It was the early 80s, and the Jupiter 6 hit the market at the same time as some iconic sci-fi movies. Themed on a movie about a time traveling cyborg, it comes in an angry, slow burn Red, just like the cyborg’s eye. This is the first of the 3 sci-fi movie themed color schemes.

o JP-6 Outlander – It was the early 80s, and the Jupiter 6 hit the market at the same time as some iconic sci-fi movies. The Outlander theme harks back to 1981 when Sean Connery appeared in a classic Sci-Fi space western that just happened to be set around the planet Jupiter. Quite fitting, don’t you think? This ice-blue kit is the second of the 3 sci-fi movie themed color schemes.

o JP-6 Alien-Gutz - It was the early 80s, and the Jupiter 6 hit the market at the same time as some iconic sci-fi movies. This eerie green color scheme is themed on a vicious gut-busting deep-space predator. Alien-Gutz is the third of the sci-fi movie themed color schemes.

Please note this is not an official product from Roland or Synthcom."

ROLAND System 100 Model 102 SN 681608

via this auction

"The model 102 is keyboard less version of the System 100 model 101 synthesizer. The model 102 creates very rich and easy to control analog sounds. These units can be added to make the sound fatter and richer. The model 102 is identical to the model 101, but the Portamento/ Glide function is replaced by Sample and Hold feature of the LFO, Ring Modulator, Noise Generator and A-440 tuning osc.

This unit is an excellent way to add more osc, synth effects to another synthesizer and off course it is the perfect match with a System 100 model 101!!!"

Linux Sound Design: Experimenting with Ingen, Ring Mod, and Bitwig

Published on Jan 27, 2016 Chris Beckstrom

"Today I realized how amazing Ingen is: run any plugin, connect them however you like- basically a virtual modular synthesizer that can use anything you have installed. You can add as many inputs and outputs as you like, which includes ins and outs from the real world (i.e. sending audio from my modular into Ingen!). This is a quick patch ring-modulating two LFO-modulated oscillators together, sending the output through some delays, then into Bitwig Studio where more delays and distortion are added. I mapped some of the controls to some MIDI controllers and move them in real time."
