Lazy music for lazy people by fedaden via fedaden: "here is a song made with an oberheim Xpander all sounds are from the Xpander just a little verb from ableton and moderate compression. you can hear the lfo trigged envelopes it creates evolving "living" sounds. this synth is amazing even with it's not so fast envelopes. the beast has deep programmability."

"Some knob twiddling with the filter on the Elektron Octatrack.
As with the other Elektron gear, you can change values quicker by pressing and holding down the knob while tweaking. I do this a few times in this recording, hence the somewhat "steppy" sound of the filter from time to time.
The filter of the Octatrack is smooooth though, no worries."
"For some days I've got a Ensoniq Fizmo in my studio. From scratch i created a new sound with help of Sounddiver. In this demo you listen live played Fizmo pure .. it means without any external help only this sound.
The Pad includes 3 Transwave OSC and a simple Sinus OSC. From internal FX comes delays and eq.
Transwave also you can description as Wavetable like in the Waldorf Microwave. Waldorf brings more parameters for the waves, but definitely sounds another. Fizmo can sounding fantastic ... of course not only in living pads.
More infos at www.deepsonic.ch in hardware section."
"Cyndustries Milton Sequencer
-4 rows of 16 steps
-can be driven by any control voltage signal including (e.g., plug an oscillator or envelope into the CV IN and the sequencer scans across the values)
-can even input audio rate signals and use it as a 64 stage tunable waveform generator
-gate outputs at each step, and x/y trigger bus, remote enable mode, outputs for each row
-asynchronous clock board (ACB PIC) addition
-Modcan A format"

"This Rev 3.3 Prophet is in like-new-out of the box condition and is 100% functional and stable. It is not the usual mint description which has been abused by so many here on ebay, it is truly like new without a flaw, corners crisp and tight, walnut cabinet not "vaselined"! and has been well taken care of since new in 1983. This one actually has beautiful "bees-wings" in the wood and the original plastic control panel cover it was shipped with!"
Anyone know if all Prophet-5s came with the plastic cover? Here's one posted back in 2008.
via CGS "This module is a much expanded version of the Psycho LFO, featuring six free-running oscillators, each variable between LFO and audio ranges, two of which can be switched to have triangular wave outputs. Each oscillator can be switched between low and high ranges, as well as off, and also has a rate LED, to allow visual determination of the frequency at which it is running. As per the original, there are also level and glide controls."
"Incorporating virtually all of the sound resources and functions of the original Minimoog Model D and Voyager, The Minimoog Voyager XL features extensive front-panel patchability that harkens back to the original ground-breaking Moog modular synthesizers. A host of features previously found only on massive modular synthesizers combined with state-of-the-art analog technology make it a sound design and control dream machine.
Highlights include:
Unmistakable Moog Sound and Quality 100% Analog Audio Path - Moog Ladder Filter 61-Note Velocity Sensitive Keyboard with After-Pressure Extensive Control Voltage Connectivity Modular-Style Patching Ribbon Controller with Pitch and Gate CV Outputs Touch Surface Controller with X, Y, A and Gate Outputs Additional LFO Source with Multiple MIDI-Syncable Waveforms External Audio Input & Effects Loop Insert
Personal side note: The more I see the XL the more I realize this would be the ultimate master keyboard controller for someone like me. Full on brute force analog, full modular capabilities, ribbon controller, touch pad, and full keyboard with velocity and aftertouch for playing racked synths. The knobs transmit MIDI CC messages for software I'd want to map with.
"this is just a quick demo of the app "Bebot" on my iPad. I was holding my iPhone 4 taking the video and playing at the same time so the video is not the greatest, but it gives you an idea of what the app is like"
"I was very surprised when I found out that Native Instruments had reanimated the well known Electronic Instruments XT bundles (1 + 2). Those instruments - based on the Reaktor engine - run as a standalone app and a VSTi as well. A couple of yeras ago NI discontinued the developement and sale and since then these bundles were hardly missed. Now they're part of Reaktor 5.5! THX a lot for that, NI!
What I still miss in Reaktor is the DSQ32 drumsynth/sequencer. It was part of Reaktor4 and in my opinion it is still one of the best sequenced drum synths ever! It is missed since Reaktor 5.0 and it never came back. Well, I still got the DSQ32.ens and fortunately it runs pretty well on Reaktor 5.5. So I made this lil' vid.
The DSQ32 is running in realtime together w/ the sequenced synthesizer Viering (Reaktor 4) and the new Lazerbass (Reaktor 5.5). Lazerbass is triggered by the Monoliner step sequencer (Reaktor 4).
Screenrecorded w/ Microsoft Expression Encoder. It's free, it's damned cool but it has a 10 minutes limitation. But dang, it's the only screenrecorder that works properly on my Win7 64bit system."

What's New in Version V3.3.0: - Import / Export Banks with iTunes - SysEx supports (except DS MIDI Wifi Server) - Add Note No. in Pad Setting view - Add Label control - Add selected frame on Design view - Hard spot range to Knob and Slider
Update: It looks like only the Pad trigger control (colored squares in pic) supports sysex at this time. Sliders and X/Y Pad currently do not. When I first posted this I noted that I would finally crack my Yamaha FS1R. That will have to wait. CC support on it is limited and sysex is the only way to get to all of it's parameters aside from its keyhole editing interface. Currently no app for the iPad that I'm aware of supports sliders that can transmit SysEx. Update: Sysex support for sliders and knobs are in with V3.4.0.
YouTube via TheSynthFreq | December 29, 2010 "All sounds heard are from the Yamaha Motif-6" You might recognize some of the synth print art in the background from prior posts.
This is an earlier model 2601 and DOES have the "coveted" 4012 "Moog" style filter... This synth also has the upgraded 3620 keyboard which added some much needed features to the Arp. First, it added an "upper voice" feature, which gives this synth a duo-phonic capability, as you can hook this second voice up to one of the oscillators and play intervals. Second, it has a built-in LFO with delay capability. A limitation of the Arp was that you had to sacrifice one of your oscillators if you wanted to use a sin-wave modulation source. No more! I don't recall if the old keyboard had portamento, but the new one definitely does."

"The microZEUS is a 4HP power supply module for Eurorack format synthesizers. It is the smallest and most powerful power supply available for its size. There are two versions available:
1. uZEUS with flying bus boards: this version features two ribbon bus boards. All you have to do is plug in your modules and play.
2. uZEUS with quick fit terminals: this version features four standard spade terminals to connect to rigid bus boards like the ZEUS Passive Bus Board.
The uZEUS mixes linear and switching power technology to produce 1000mA at +12V, 500mA at -12V, and 170mA at +5V and uses a standard +15VDC non-regulated wall adapter for power."

"Roland Guitar Synth Challenge entry by Wayne Scott Joness featuring the Roland GI-20. The GI-20 is used with a Roland GK-3 divided pickup to play a variety of software synthesizers and sound modules, including the Roland XV-5080 fitted with the SRX-07 Ultimate Keys Expansion board. All MIDI performances are from the GI-20, with the exception of drum loop programming."
"while helping someone here i ended up quickly creating a miniapp based on the original _step app where the sequencer describes probability of beat-triggers for that particular voice on every step."
