"Tiptop Just updated their Z-DSP eurorack effects processor and released some new cards for it and we got to try them out and make this video with them. The Time Domain bundle includes three delay based cards, the Mod Delay with modulated delays, Hydra multi-tap delays and Spirals pitch shifting delays. The other card is the Mariana Trench which has feedback delay networks that can be used as reverbs and room simulations or for some types of physical modeling.

"Hi Guys.
I have a small movie in which I sequenced everything using Nerdseq from XOR Electronics, I used the VCO from Pico System 2 -Erica Synths and the second voice from Pico VOICE, the drums I used with Vermona-TwinCUSSION-drum module .
Nerdseq is great because it has up to 64 steps and each pattern can be of a different length - it is based on Tracker so the same principle of operation but with cv / trigger inputs and samples that read from the SD card.
it's a very powerful sequencer - it allows up to 176 patterns for 64 steps. while working with samples built-in several effects like distorion, bitcrusher, delay and others-this is really crazy thing."

"One of the rarest synth ever. As Internet says, only 300 was made. This one have a serial number 9000154C.

There is a full (all keys at same time) polyphony, two stage tone modificator, multilayered LFOs, 8-pattern rhythm generator, and programmable sequencer. Also, it have a stereo output, so it is possible to play with pan for some features.

Original user manual (Japanese) included.

Capacitors in power supply was replaced for prophylactic reasons, and output voltage precisely adjusted.

Pots and switches moves without any cracks or noises. The tune is fine.

Machine looks like a fully working, but I can not test all features of programmable sequencer (LEDs response correctly then I pressing buttons on it - thats all I'v figured out) because I can't read Japanese.

We've been building SSPs non stop since we shipped the first units and we're pleased to let you know we'll be shipping all other units in the next few days. We'll send everyone a tracking number as soon as we can.

Below are some cool photos from a custom unit for a backer as well as a photo from our building / testing / burn-in process.

Software

Because we're currently super focused on getting all the units out the door, we have little to no time to work on the software. Once everything is shipped we can focus on that once again and moving forward the updates will be mostly about the software.

Korg Kingkorg custom sounds

As is the case with all of my other sound bank demos the sounds were recorded dry into Ableton and no effects were added for mastering either. All sounds are produced in the synth. I'll be writing a review later today on my blog.
The presets take up spaces 201-275 in my soundbank, I've included the preset number in the video in the corner."

The new MotasEdit software plugin is running within Ableton and a repeated simple bar of notes is playing (Motas-6 is connected via USB MIDI).
Parameter changes on the Motas-6 hardware are sent to the plugin/DAW (and likewise changes in the DAW/plugin are sent to Motas-6).

I play with various Motas-6 parameters including the analogue phase modulation, analogue noise and internal feedback (which comes from the audio output before the final volume control) to the pre-filter mixer."

"For sale is extremely rare soviet vintage analog guitar synthesizer "LIDER-1". It is a original guitar effects processor produced in 1980`s by Katchkanar radio equipment factory "Formanta", famous for its well-known synthesizers Polivoks, Manual, Maestro etc. Was designed to be applied by musicians who use external effects in the live performance or studio work. Can be easely used not only with guitars but with synths, organs, bass e.t.c. It is a floor-mounted unit with four rubber footswitches; it also has sliders and knobs for changing the parameters of effects. LIDER-1 has 4 main serial sections: mixer, phaser, Polivoks-type resonance filter, modulator (VCA with ADR) - each with its own parameters and indicators. Commutation are standard 1\4TRS "Jacks" (installed): line input, output (line, phone, amplifier). On the outer surface of the bottom panel, an input sensitivity regulator is situated."
