"That place is absolutely incredible. We don't have anything like it here in NYC. Probably the only place on earth that 6 909s have been lined up edge to edge since they were coming off the assembly line."
"Testing [Canon] Zi8 Audio via Mic input. Audio sounds like it needs a little more boost but I was afraid to introduce distortion." acidlab Bassline provides the TB-303 you hear, Elektron Machinedrum for beats.
Badly Detuned Odd-Time Sequence

"Just random sequences as I test Audio on Zi8... Last vid was low so I increased volume by two clicks. Machinedrum clock to Revo, sends Din to 606 and Bassline2 and cv/gate from revo/B2 to Modular"
"Very Rare Roland GR700 Edit map label. It is in practically new condition. I think this was to show the functions when using an external controller and the midi control numbers as well. Good luck finding another one."
"Excerpt from performance at Harvestworks' "New Instruments for Improvisation and Experimental Approaches" event June 2010 at Here Arts Center. Together with Dafna Naphtali, Laetitia Sonami and Matthew Ostrowski."
"The sound of a Max/MSP patch controls a modular analogue synthesiser via an Oakley Sound Envelope Follower (EFG)" The touch screen controller is a Jazz Mutant Lemur.
"Hello. So I decided to do this song because I always liked it. I hope some people can enjoy my take on it. I used a nintendo (controlled by midines) for the backing tracks, then played guitar and sang over it.
I will also my debut EP come out soon..... Cheers.

Miami Vice - The Great McCarthy - Party Scene

"For many the finest episode from MV. From Season One of Miami Vice first aired on 16 Nov 1984 on NBC. Featuring Don Johnson, Philip Michael Thomas, William Gray Espy as Louis McCarthy and Maria McDonald as Vanessa. Enjoy!"
"MFB Synth II. This is an all analog, knob-laden monster synth in a compact package. Three fully analog oscillators, a thick and self-resonating voltage controlled filter, two envelopes, two LFOs and a step sequencer! It's as if the MiniMoog met the Roland MC-202 and had a couple of pints.
Main Features * 3 analogue VCOs + Noise (sawtooth, square and triangle waveforms) * 2 envelope generators (ADSR) * Analogue 24dB lowpass filter with resonance (VCF) * 2 LFOs (sawtooth, square, triangle and random (S&H) waveforms) * External audio input * Integrated step sequencer * MIDI & CV/Gate control * 50 preset- and 49 user memories"
"My DIY MFOS modular - the Modulator - playing Isn't it funny how your body works by Nitzer Ebb. The 16-step sequencer's gate outputs trigs two ADSRs for bass drum. Clock out is sent to slave 10-step sequencer and to two ARs controlling filter cutoff and VCA. 16 step seq CV out gets patched to both VCOs. The stereo auto panner is used during the last few seconds."
"plus pads from cheetah ms 6 -thru- dod fx65 chours -thru- virtual smallstone in reaktor 5. also a little tribute to some of the people who influenced me in different ways. all goes on tascam 22-2. thx for watching"
The idea is to send a control voltage out from any row of the Q119 back into the Start Input of the Q119 sequencer. This will serve to reset the sequencer when one of the steps is turned up.
I also have the Q960 sequencer slaved to the gate output of the Q119 for this demo. The upper sound is controlled from the Q960 and the Bass sound is controlled by the Q119.
The second row of the Q119 is used for rest function of the bass notes.
The same for the third row of the Q960. It is used for the upper notes rest. The ratchet on the upper notes is done with a Q128 switch and the out from a Q963 trigger bus.
Bass is filtered through a Q150 transistor ladder filter at -24dB, and the upper notes are filtered through a Q107 in low pass mode. The CV's for the oscillators are run through a Q171 and Q172 quantizer."
"Hello ! My name is Frederic Gerchambeau. I have made this movie and this noisy dirty moogy drone. This drone has been made with a Moogerfooger MF-102, a Moogerfooger MF-107, a Doepfer Dark Energy, a Boss Bass Synthesizer SYB-5, a Boss Digital Delay DD-6 and a Boss Digital Delay DD-7. The all thing has been made in one take and has not been edited. Enjoy ! http://www.myspace.com/fredericgercha..."

YouTube via mysterycircuits | July 18, 2010 follow-up to this post. "Thanks for all the positive response for The Drumssette! I've had some requests to show more tape examples, other than just the 808 sounds I had before. Here you go! The first segment shows sounds I recorded with my Minimoog. The second shows CR78 sounds, the third are acoustic sounds. I'm hoping to get sounds of my drummer, Kuki, real soon."
"These are some of my new TipTop Eurorack synth modules. I wasn't planning on adding these to my fledgling CCCL modular system... just yet. My original plan was to use my current funds to buy a new MacPro (to replace our old & failing G5). However, Apple still haven't released their new MacPro models and I found the temptation to get these (some are from eBay) to strong to resist. Now I just need to start saving for that new MacPro again!
The next modules to be included in the system will be of the self-built DIY variety - and a couple more TipTop modules... coz they're fantastic!
"This is week 29 in my project to write one new song each week for the year 2010. This week I spent loads of time choosing, and making, and slicing different samples. But while I was making the samples they sounded as if I could make a song out of them when I loaded them into my tenori-On nothing was jelling. I was going for a more DnB sound, thought I never actually get the sound I'm going for :) But in the end I did manage to get some slices of DnB drum loops that sounded good with the Tenori-On's built in sounds. And the result is what you hear here. See you next week!"
"powertran Transcendent 2000 - Bass sound - Noise sounds - 2 x Synth sounds with some delay and reverb - Piano Not from this as thats from yamaha"
Note the above two vids were for an Ebay auction back in April. Here's a search on Powertran Synth. I'm not seeing anything listed at the time of this post, however they do come up pretty often.

"running through small section of sounds from classic diy synthesizer. Not good quality or playing recorded it on a whim. for all the obsessive's like me out there was the same synth joy division had. listen to 'insight' the 'bird noise' is from this. Don't know why it cut off at the end."
via Trunk Records (NSFW warning: at the top of the site is a rotating header with nudes now and then). There's not much on the synth front in the article other than the EMS Gear pron of course. Note the Synthi Sequencer 256. The following is the short intro: "As is usual with Trunk releases it’s best if I just tell it like it is and was. So, here’s the story of this remarkable thrity year old recording, followed by a biography of the great Edward Williams. And a full tracklist. All very exciting…"
