If anyone knows more about this system feel free to comment. I did a quick search on Leo Küpper and found the following on a Wikipedia article for Miguel Bonachea:

"Bonachea is an enthusiast advocate of contemporary music and has devoted part of his professional career to its advancement. In the 1980s, he was a co-founder of the National Laboratory of Electro-acoustic Music in Havana, led by composer Juan Blanco, a pioneer of electro-acoustic music in Latin America. Bonachea has been invited as a guest performer in residence at the “Laboratory for Researches on Electro-acoustics of Brussels”, Belgium, to participate in the creation of a composition titled “Guitarra Cubana” by Belgian composer Leo Küpper.[5] Since the beginning of his career, Bonachea has included in his repertoire contemporary works from contemporary composers such as Leo Brouwer, Carlos Fariñas, Hector Angulo, Bernardo Cardona, Efraín Amador, Jose A. Pérez Puentes and Armando Rodriguez Ruidiaz, among others. "Includes very rare Synthi Matrix Interface by Digitana Electronics which connects to the Synthi via the Presto Patch connection.
Includes power cable, all patch pins plus a couple extra cables for modulation.

There were 3 mods done (one on each oscillator) which are factory mods and allow the user to modulate the "shape" of each oscillator. Apparently a tech who specializes in Synthis mentioned this Synthi is a "MKIII" with a reverb driver based on 741 + germanium transistors (great sounding), a 5-pole filter and a MC1496 ringmod.

The EMS Synthi A is one of the most classic legendary mono synths, and it really is worth every penny, it has such unique huge analog sound and can get a range of tones like no other synth. "This is the first song with the Yamaha VL7 Version 2. It's a monophonic synthesizer based on physical modelling algorithms.

I used only the internal effects for the recording except for the melody line that used the following FX chain:
VL7 - TC Electronic Mimiq - DigiTech Obscura- DigiTech Polara.

The signal goes via a small Behringer mixer straight into the pc.

To create the complete song I recorded consecutively several stereo tracks. The final song was then mastered with just a bit EQ and compression on some tracks and some limiting on the master track.

Well, I decided to go back to the basics, but at the same time make something useful for the synth community and do a kind of competition (I like competitions;-). What's my best synth for ambient music :-)"

* Hexinverter Mutant Bassdrum - A 808 kick with extended range and functionality
* Dijkstar RiDrum Tk-01 - an 808 and 909 highbred kick

!! Warning - This video contains flashing images !!

This is not a comparison or feature review but a fun jam. The Malekko VARIGATE 8+ is used to sequence the two kicks.
* The RiDrum Tk-01 is playing a traditional 1/16 steps (1 bar)
* The Mutant Bassdrum is playing 1/2 steps (8 bars) with random repeats on each step.
The Malekko VARIGATE 8+ is also used to control all the other drums + the 303 bass line and the FM sound.

"Jürgen Haible's WASP Filter is now available for eurorack in a dual version with some modifications and addons - including a MODE section that acts as a dynamic link between both filters. It allows to combine the filters in series or parallel or anything in between - even voltage controlled(!). Also, each side can blend from lowpass to highpass or bandpass (yes, the notch is in there, too!) creating infinite filterbank combinations. A Sync switch has been added to be able to control both side’s cutoff frequency with from the left side. The unique distortion can be configured to PRE or POST for each side. This is a (mostly) through-hole version containing very few optional SMT parts (not included).

2 Identical Haible WASP filters including distortion
Blend from Lowpass to Highpass or Bandpass
Distortion can be configured to be PRE or POST
MODE blends from serial to parallel setup - even CV controlled.

"I run the Roland SH-101 through the Ekdahl Moisturizer spring reverb. The SH-101 is a classic analog monophonic synth from the 80s made famous for its use in acid techno. The Moisturizer is a combo spring reverb and analog filter. What's unique about this reverb is that the springs are exposed at the top so you can tap them and play them with your hands. You can also replace the spring tank if you want. It also comes with a multi-mode filter which can be smoothly switched from low pass, bandpass and highpass. There's also an onboard LFO which you can modulate the filter with. Finally, it has various different CV jacks on the back for interfacing with external analog gear.

This video is part information part demo. I go over all the different knobs on the Moisturizer and experiment with different sounds along the way."

All granular synthesis options are in effect, and allow stuff like scratching, time stretch, comb filtering, harmonizing (using the play buttons and sliders).
