CGS / Bridechamber Event Sequencer
via this auction
"Read more here:
http://www.bridechamber.com/bridechamber.com/C_Event_Seq.html
and here:
http://cgs.synth.net/modules/index.html#cgs28
The Event Sequencer will sequence audio or control voltages, and when clocked with a high frequency is an excellent 8 step wave shaper (kind of like a DoubleDeka).
The mix control allows an audio signal to be mixed with the outputs. I normalled ~8v to the switching lug of the mix in jack so the mix knob also acts as a transpose control when sequencing cv's.
This module includes the programmable gate bus. Normally the LED's would be where the switches are. The extra jack below the stage 1 pot is the gate bus out jack.
Module is MOTM / 5U high by 4U wide, requires standard +/- 15v MOTM power supply. Includes power cable and black mounting screws."

AS Oberkorn MK3 Tutorial #08 - Voltage Out to Clock CV Input
YouTube via rezfilter | September 26, 2010
Mixes up at 2:43. Machinedrum, TBX-303 and black faced Oberheim SEMs come in.
"HOW TO: Change clock time & create uniquely timed patterns using the potentiometers on the AS Oberkorn step sequencer [www.analoguesolutions.com].
By patching a VOLTAGE OUT to the clock CV INPUT, one is able to dial-in odd timings and patterns on one of the 3 CV strips of the sequencer. This can be useful in many applications.
One particular application of this technique would be in sound design, where the Oberkorn is controlling the filters, envelopes, LFOs etc. of a modular synthesizer. Sounds such as drones could feature rhythmically interesting timings based on your custom dialed-in settings.
Many possibilities - try it yourself!"

Cyndustries Milton Sequencer
via this auction
Also see the seller's other items for more.
"The Milton Sequencer is the coolest analog sequencer ever made! It's heart is 4 rows of 16 steps (cv values) that can be driven by a clock in the standard fashion, but one of the things that really makes this a standout sequencer is it's ability to be driven by any control voltage signal...plug an oscillator or envelope into the CV IN and watch the sequencer scan across the values! Drive it with audio rate signals and use it as a 64 stage tunable waveform generator!
It's got gate outputs at each step, and x/y trigger bus, remote enable mode (think arpeggiator), outputs for each row and more! After purchasing this new from Cyndustries, I sent it back to them to get the trigger bus upgrade so it now consistently outputs triggers.
Easily compatible with Modcan, Serge, Buchla, Bugbrand, etc."

Vintage Roland Rhythm 77 Rare Analog Drum Machine
Some of the description appears to be from the dubsounds.com sample pack page. "The Rhythm-77 (TR-77) was the product that launched the Roland Corp. in 1972 and was the flagship of the Rhythm trio, which included the R-33 and R-55. Its place in history is secured as the first Roland drum machine ever made. It was Ikutaro Kakehashi's baby which he used to introduce the world to ROLAND after he sold off Ace Tone and moved on to bigger things. The Rhythm-77 (TR-77) came in two versions, the more common organ style wooden case with built in music stand and a black tolex "roadie protected" (TR-77V). Incidentally, if you don't already know TR stood for Transistor Rhythm. It had separate faders for the Kick, Snare, Guiro and Hi-Hat/Cymbal/Maracas, making it a very flexible machine in the studio. As with many early drum machines you could get more out of them by selecting multiple rhythms and layering them over each other.
You can spot the TR-77 on quite a few tracks from the late '70s. It was quite popular for a few years until the CompuRhythm range took over. Gary Numan used it briefly on the "Replicas" album before moving on to the CR-78. Ultravox (with John Foxx) also used a 77 first before Foxx immortalized the CR-78 on his seminal "Metamatic" album. The 77 is also heard quite prominently in the intro to Squeeze's "Take Me I'm Yours" and "Girls On Film" by Duran Duran.
Latin: Rhumba, Beguine, Cha-Cha, Mambo, Samba 1&2, Bossa Nova, Baion, Bolero, Tango
Rock: Rock'n'Roll 1&2, Slow Rock, Ballad, Western, March, Jazz Waltz, Waltz, Cancel (quiet)

DIY hardware programmer for Kawai K3m Synthesizer and CR-78-clone
YouTube via stereoping | September 26, 2010
"This video features my 2 last diy-projects: a hardwareprogrammer for the Kawai K3m and an analogue drumsynthesizer. Sorry for the shaking, had to hold the cam the whole songrecording.
1. I made a hardware programmer for my beloved kawai k3m which is normally painful to edit. It's made out of an old keyfax phatboy which is quite useless normally because it only sends mostly useless fixed controllerdata. I spent it a new brain of an atmega8 and connected it to the multiplexers and switches. After some programming it now sends sysexdata suitable for the K3. Of course any incoming mididata is merged through. Notes have priority before sysex to prevent notelags. There are 3 color-modes which can be switched by a 3-way-switch in the upper right corner of the controller.
2. Second featured DIY-project in this video is my "Viscand 16" - a frankensteinproduct of a VISCount 160 and the rolAND cr78. It eats mididata and listenes on 16 notes to trigger the voices. Its hard to find coils today, the CR78 needs some for filtering (tambourine, metalbeat aso.) . I tried to overcome that by filtering the noise with a simple opamp-bandpass before it gets into the circuit. Another try was to use old relais-coils together with some capacitors, well it worked somehow. The sound is quite near by the cr78. Although i still got some problems with a clean accent-amp the video shows how it sounds.
Other synths used: v-synth (suqareblip), polysix-plugin, albino-plugin (Bass) and dynacord studioquad for reverbs."

Roland S-550 Digital Sampler
via this auction
"80's digital sampler. I bought the device and then hunted down a monochrome screen.. I download the original synth sounds off the internet, and ripped them to double density 3.5 floppy disks which aren't available anymore. You can find high density 3.5 disks and put a piece of tape over one of the holes which converts them to double density. After that I had to format the disk with windows 98 so I could set the size to 720kb. I was able to get the system disk and every sound that Roland made for the device. works great, if you don't mind waiting 60 seconds to load a sound bank of about 8 different samples. You can record samples and play them back in different keys. auction includes the Roland s-550 with monochrome screen user manual flopply disk drawer and over 60 disks."
