Acid On A Budget with The Musicology Group's New Digital Filter for Propellerhead's Reason
"We’ve been having lots of fun with the new Digital Filter and we thought we would share some of our findings. For those who are still championing the sub-genre affectionately known as Acid House, we have some good news for you. With a few simple elements from Reason plus the Digital Filter, you can create your very own TB-303. Check out the full article for more detail, download the combinator, and visit our product page to get started."

"Product details
Continuously Variable Slope
All parameters of the Digital Filter are continuously variable including cutoff frequency, resonance, and slope. You can now morph between the subtle effects of a 1-pole filter to the extremity of a 12-pole filter all while maintaining a sense of musicality.
Envelope Generator
To help provide movement to your sound the Digital Filter comes with a built-in Envelope Generator that is always active, dial the amount to zero to disengage. The Envelope Generator has standard controls for Attack-Decay-Sustain-Release and also has a Timescale parameter that adjusts the maximum time for each state. The response can also be automatically looped for asynchronous rhythmic variation as well as triggered via an external Gate and/or the Envelope Follower.
Envelope Follower
The built-in Envelope Follower tracks the amplitude of the audio input signal or the sidechain audio input. This can be used to add a subtle shimmering quality to your sound or dialed up even higher for auto-wah effects. Both the Envelope Generator and Envelope Follower responses can be added together to create more complex modulation schemes.
Polyphonic Support
For extended support with polyphonic systems or configurations involving independent voices, this device includes CV input for both Note and Gate parameters as well as accepts note events from Combinators when assigned. When processing note information, setting the Cutoff Frequency has no effect, instead an Offset parameter is provided to scale the position of the cutoff frequency relative to the note being played.
Just the Beginning
This device has a lot of capability packed into a small but efficient package to help you create impactful music. Whether you are combining trigger sources to create interesting rhythmic variations, or toggling the LP/HP switch to drop the bass, there is a lot left to discover with the Digital Filter, we invite you to try it out."

"Built by True Color Of Venus Synthesizer manufacturer Matthew Regula in Brooklyn New York.
I’ve been in touch to let him know I’m selling this and he is available for support and to build more modules to complete the case.
Contains the following modules:
Dual Buchla 258 Clone VCO
Threeler VCF by Ian Fritz
Buchla 291 VCF Clone
3rd VCO
Mankato Filter
Dual ADSR
Noise Generator
Slope Detector
Serge SSG Clone
Serge VCS Clone
Dual CGS LFO
Dual Serge Style Wave Multiplier Clone
Quad VCA / Mixer
The modules are unlabelled but I have schematics for each module, which are attached (The last column of the last schematic ended up being a slope detector rather than a mixer).
It has space for 5 more panels each of which contains two modules with Matthew is happy to build to your spec.
It is Bananajack but comes with a purpose built Bananajack to Euro to ¼” six-fold adapter shown below.
Comes with separate PSU which can power 6 similar cases in case you want to expand -3 amps of +/-15v
It’s 110V so if using in UK/EU/etc you’ll need a transformer.
Dimensions Weight:
Modular - 67 x 39 x 13 cm. 7.2 kg

ROLAND ALPHA JUNO Analog Synthesizer 1985 | HD DEMO | PATCHES

You can buy these patches - read the description for further details (scroll down).
Synthesizer demo of the analog synthesizer Roland Alpha Juno(1) from 1985.
In this movie I play some of my own sounds - on some sounds I used a small amount of digital delay from a Korg SDD-3000 or reverb from a Lexicon MPX-500.
The Alpha Juno has a similar voice architecture to the earlier Junos - but on the Alpha some things were enhanced: variable chorus speed, a more complex envelope, the envelope can be routed to the pitch, additional waveforms, the PWM has its own dedicated LFO, key velocity and aftertouch (can be routed to filter or volume).

"This time 2 shapeshifters used. One for pad put through ADDAC 601 and heavily tweaked and second providing bass and glitches.
Heart is 4ms QCD that clocks xaoc Batumi, ssf URA & Delptronics triggerman. Batumi provides divided 4 synced and divided lfo's to shapeshifter one's shape, freq sweeping Intellijel uvcf with shapeshifter 2 feeding it. Timbre of braids and shapeshifter 2's shape. Phonogene provides industrial under sound and modulated by URA, Lead is Braids with bees in trees firmware stepping through presets with 70% plucked sound. Kick drum from peaks, hats by quantum rainbow, snare from quantum rainbow and slight delay with dub jr then through streams in vactrol mode. Extra percussion provided by feeding envelopes into ADDAC 601 bands.
Trigger sequencing by triggerman with 4 patterns arranged in a semi random order, hats triggered by QCD with ura providing random fills. Note sequencing by Modcan touch sequencer. Random stepping of shapeshifter and braids (divided) provided by Qu-bit nano rand clocked by QCD the providing 'musical' random triggers.
All Eurorack except for Soundcraft mixer and Eventide space, mixed on desk then fed into logic and PSP Vintage warmer strapped to mix bus to boost to normal levels ;)"

Mannequins Mangrove as chaotic LFO and sequencer
Published on May 13, 2015 wellurban
"Using the uTones mode and a negative CV offset, Mangrove can get down into LFO territory. This can produce interesting modulations in itself, as in the "Chaotic LFO" patch described in the manual, but running it through a quantiser also creates ever-changing chaotic sequences.
Since the frequency of the Formant output is always an integer division of the main frequency, and the Square output is unaffected by the uTone subdivision, the square output can be used to trigger the quantiser and/or an envelope in sync with the Formant's chaotic CV cycles."
Novation Officially Introduces the MoroderNova

"The Ultimate Collaboration

It's his fascination with electronic sounds that is at the heart of his collaboration with Novation. Giorgio Moroder is nothing less than a god in the synth world: he's been responsible for creating some of the most recognisable sounds across numerous genres. The collaboration with Novation came about after Giorgio fell in love with the Novation MiniNova, taking it on tour all over the world. With MoroderNova, Novation and Giorgio Moroder have made a piece of synth history. Not only is it Novation's first signature model, it's the first and only synth with Giorgio's name on it. What's more, there are only 500 of them, each numbered and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.

Instantly-rare, the MoroderNova is a signature digital synthesiser which pays homage to Giorgio Moroder.
Branded with Giorgio's 'moustache and shades' insignia, and with a distinctive silver/black colourway, the unit is a stand-out piece of synth heritage.
The signature sounds identify some of Giorgio's most seminal moments in music. From the timbres of his disco classics with bands such as Sparks and Donna Summer, to the incredible sounds of the Top Gun and Scarface soundtracks, and his recent work with Daft Punk, Novation's sound designers have matched each and every one to the original. With access to these you'll be able to draw inspiration from the works of one of the most influential producers alive today.
Limited edition, numbered one of 500 units with certificate of authenticity."
