"Storm Summoner ( https://http://stormsummoner.com/ ) grants full access to effects pedals, enabling real-time control and tweaking with its multitude of sensors and inputs. Thanks to a huge database of pedals, setting it up is quick and easy. There's also an event handling system here that can be exploited musically in several ways.

Evolving Ambient Loops | Elektron Digitone + Analog Four + El Capistan

"An evolving ambient session created with the Elektron Digitone, Analog Four, and Strymon El Capistan.

I used the Analog Four for the bass and a simple rhythm, while layering the Digitone’s sounds on top. By setting different probability values for the notes, random phrases naturally intertwine and create a constantly evolving loop.

The subtle changes keep the music moving, while still maintaining a calm and spacious atmosphere.

A simple hardware setup, but endless possibilities. ✨

From my Forthcoming bank Elixir Vol.1 for the ‪@korgukofficial‬ Prologue. this patch is a split with dynamic synth strings on the left of the keybed and a beautifully dynamic brassy arp on the right of the bed.

I have been lost in this patch for hours, sometimes a patch I create will really grab me more than others, and this is definitely one of those patches.

I have some strymon verb on this demo, but rest assured, the official full demos will only be using the onboard factory effects.

"Fun jam starting out with a Pad from the Access Virus TI. The Roland Juno 60 was playing a nice backing lead melody through the Hologram Microcosm. The Korg Monopoly with a nice top lead through the GFI Specular Tempus analog delay. Bass was the Moog Mother 32 and the drums are the Dave Smith Tempest. Some additional reverb from the Strymon Bigsky MX.

GLX BALSAM #2 | Winterdagen

"Here's another on on the amazing GLX BALSAM! This dark and moody patch and the note glides somehow remind me of Mica Levi's score for Under the Skin which is a very very good thing :-)

I love that BALSAM has a dedicated bipolar slider to route the mod envelope to the LFO time. In this case it makes the LFO - which is modulating the filter - start very fast and slow down over time. I'm using the 2-pole lowpass filter here, I absolutely love its character. It leaves in a little more high frequencies than a 4-pole filter, making the patch sound nice and buzzy. I've quite heavily detuned the oscillators from each other and I'm again using BALSAM's special power viscosity to make each oscillator glide to the next note at its own rate when using the pitch sliders. This makes the sound feel so alive!

I did use some external fx in this piece, Strymon El Capistan and Nightsky. BALSAM sounds gorgeous completely dry as well, but I love a little space in a piece like this one.

"A minimal electronica piece where the sounds of the TENORI-ON and a simple MIDI electric piano blur and blend together.

On the TENORI-ON, a sequence is looped and sent into the TX-6 with a small amount of reverb. The signal is then processed through the ‪@HologramElectronics‬ MICROCOSM with additional reverb and layered micro loops. The PHRASE LOOPER is also used to repeat phrases, which are then played back in reverse.

TheYAMAHA MU15 provides a simple electric piano sound that is processed through the MOOD MKII to generate micro loops and add delay. The signal is then passed through the ‪@strymon‬ NIGHTSKY, where filtering and reverb transform it into a more abstract texture."

Turning an OB-6 Arpeggio Into an Ambient Soundscape | Strymon BigSky
