"An absolute monster of module that can be used as a filterbank, resonator or 4 voice synth (just add envelopes!) that sounds great no matter what you ask it to do.

'The big brother to the infamous Cwejman RES-4, the QMMF-4 boasts the following features:

Each filter has an individual audio input, two controls for coarse and fine adjustment of cutoff frequency, two cutoff CV inputs (CM1 adjustable, CM CAL with 1V/oct) as well as the voltage controllable Q-PEAR resonance circuit with three modes: OSC allows for self-oscillation, OSC SAT as well but with saturation (like the MMF-2), RES doesn't self oscillate but is perfect for filter ringing (like the RES-4). Switchable filter types are low pass, band pass and high pass; the notch is available separately The filter is followed by a VCA (output fader) with the according LEVEL CV input. The LP/BP/HP signal can be output both pre fader and post fader (pre or post VCA), the notch is not affected by this.

The master section affects and controls all four filters simultaneously, in addition to the individual CVs. The section has a master cutoff control with a Freq CV input, a master audio input sending it's signal to all four filters. The dry/wet control is voltage controllable, the wet signal's level can be set separately and is voltage controllable. The master notch output carries the mix of all notch filters, the MMF output the mix of all multimode filters.'"

"Rare vintage 1978 Oberheim Electronics Cassette Interface for OB-1/Four Voice/Eight Voice. Back in the day, this unit would be used to save a library of presets from your Oberheim synthesizer as audio on a cassette tape. Today it could more easily be used to save presets as audio files on your computer. This unit powers up and is in EXCELLENT cosmetic condition (you'd be hard-pressed to find a nicer one) but since I no longer have my OB-1 I have no way to test it and it is sold as is. It was working last time I used it however. Comes with the ORIGINAL manual."

"Here is a vintage USA made Moog (mini moog) Model D synthesizer that was made in August 21, 1972. All functions have been tested. All of the switches, knobs, wheels and inputs/outputs work. The pots are somewhat scratchy and could be cleaned and the power cord has a short in it and needs replaced. If the power cord is in a certain position it will power up the synth and stay on. All Oscillators, Noise (white and pink) generator, Envelope generator, Filter section, Pitch and mod wheels, Glide, Master volume and Controller section work. The key action is very good and no keys are misaligned. The serial number for this Moog is 1657. This Moog operates on 115 volts. If it is used overseas, a power converter will be needed."

All sources were mixed on an Ace Tone MP-40 with an extreme amount of it's internal spring reverb applied to the bass and melody. Final mix was sent to my Fireface 800 and recorded inside of Ableton."

"Up for auction is a ridiculously rare Hammond 102100 Analog Synthesizer. It is a product of the early 70's and certainly sounds like it, with a huge, thick and powerful sound that only 70's analog synthesizers possess. It is essentially a 1 VCO monosynth with a few presets and a manual (or panel, you could call it) mode where you can customize your patch. There are several footings for saw/square wave, several filter settings, LFO mod of the filter, vibrato, envelopes for both the VCF and VCA, etc. All of the buttons work, as do the keys. It stays in tune extremely well.

It is a bit dirty and is missing the wood side panels. The top of the unit comes off and the various boards can be calibrated/adjusted. It has a 1/4" output on the back of the unit."

"Hanami Sakura, ('Ceremony of Cherry trees blossom' in japanese) is a concert performance which was given Tuesday 17 May 2016, by the Philosophy and Electronic Music Workshop I created 5 years ago at Lycée Edouard Herriot of Lyon.

To celebrate this fifth birthday, the students and I invited an french artist, Claire Deville, to join us on stage to improvise a performance by drawing with sewing threads in one of my paintings devoted to the cherry trees blossom. An abstract film I created was shown during the performance.

Our concert was divided into 14th parts, each one corresponding to a poetic meditation upon the blossom. From time to time, a haïku was said by one of the performers.

Lauren Niculescu, Edouard Klein, Arnaud Marthinet, Léo Mouton and Benjamin Tobalem played the Virus TI, Edouard playing also a Djembe. Victor Hunkler played a rain stick, the Djembe and a Little Phatty. Arnaud sometimes played also the Little Phatty. I played a Minimoog Voyager, Electric Blue. All sounds on each synthesizer are our creation.

"This synth is like a suped-up Roland SH-2000 preset, mono synth.

It looks good, was recently serviced and works great. Some cosmetic issues:
- Two voice tabs are broken (Fuzz Guitar 2 and Harpsichord). Fuzz Guitar 2 tab was glued back together. Both switches work (you can swap the tabs with whichever ones you use the least)
- Missing one, black slider cap.

The Multivox MX-2000 has almost exactly the same features and voices as the Roland SH-2000:
- Touch Volume (Off/On)
- Touch Wow (Off/On)
- Touch Growl (Off/On)
- Touch Vibrato (Off/On)
- Touch Pitch Bend (Up/Off/Down)
- Repeat (Off/On)

But, additional the second ocillator is what makes this synth different. You choose any frequency within the range (3rd, 5th, 6th, octave or any frequency in between) or select Unison for a thick single notes.

Roland boutiqueのキーボードユニットK-25Mは昨年末に既に購入しております。

長らくiPad3で編集してきましたが、さすがに最近は動画編集処理が厳しくなりましたので、iPadmini4を使っての初投稿でもあります。

ヘッドホンで聴かれた方は分かると思いますが、ノイズが動画前後の無音部で乗っています。これはJU-06のchorusに依るものでこれが仕様になります。

The artists on show this time are Ian Boddy, Node, ARC, Dave Bessell (one of the members of Node) and collaborations between Parallel Worlds & Dave Bessell, Ian Boddy & Markus Reuter, Erik Wøllo & Bernhard Wöstheinrich and Parallel Worlds & Self Oscillate.

As with the previous four DiN samplers DiN label boss Ian Boddy has mixed and cross-faded the 18 tracks into a continuous ambient mix that not only showcases the albums featured on the release but presents an exciting and varied title in its own right. New Knobs For Sequential Circuits Prophet Line of Synths

"I bought a Prophet-5 where the black caps were painted black… it looked absolutely awful. Searching the web for replacement knobs (like I’m sure many of you Prophet owners have) only turned up extremely expensive old stuff, which usually was “out of stock” anyway. I did get hold of some original replacement knobs, but these were pretty scratchy and worn too.

I decided to fix this! I had a company re-manufacture the aluminum cap to the exact original dimensions. (I also looked into making the plastic knob part, but then I realized most people already have these and they usually look ok).

The old caps are easy to replace, they basically pop off with the help of a knife blade. There is a little dot of glue in there that doesn’t provide much resistance:)

Now, only the more high end SCI gear (Prophet-5, Prophet-10, T8 etc) had the fancy knobs with aluminum caps. The more low end stuff (Pro-One, Prophet-600 etc) only had the plastic part of the knob, with a simple painted white indicator line. The best part is that now you can pimp these models too! As far as I know, ALL vintage (80s) Sequential Circuits gear used the same plastic knobs, with this cap being the only difference."

"Bastl Instruments in cooperation with Mental Overdrive made a documentation of a unique piece of electronic music equipment from 1993 called Distortotron. They created a short film to trace the origins of the instrument and provided sound demos.

Distortotron is an effects processor: downsampler, bitreducer and clipping overdrive. It was made in 1993 in Norway by Svein Berge and Henrik Sundt a.k.a. PSYBE for a Tromsø based musician Per Martinsen a.k.a. Mental Overdrive. The concept for such instrument came from the need to bring back the aliasing and noise of early 80s samplers and it heavily formed the sound of Mental Overdrive’s debut album Plugged released in 1995 which became the landmark of the so called Tromsø sound. The album got re‐relased in 2016 on Prins Thomas’ label Rett I Fletta.

The Distortotron inspired Václav Peloušek of Bastl Instruments to design eurorack module called T romsø.

A bit of a geeky video wanted the TB303 to play 3 parts all at the same time: a sort of kick + 2 mono lines. all live and TB the only sound source. Ableton providing MIDI and effects.

So I got the Dreadbox erebus a while back.. ever since I saw nick do a demo on sonicstate i have wanted one. Now after getting the rest of the studio in place i managed to save up some cash and order it.

Its a lovely synth, just been fooling around with it since i got it... For this track I wanted to make something that stands out. By pushing and saturating the signal from both the erebus and the ms-20, with a little bit of resonance on the filters i managed to get an organ feel sound... now please watch the mids and level when listening, its a bit out there at times. I like this harsh sharp sound when opening up the filters.. but still you can mellow it down by pulling it back to a more subtle level.. just like when you play a guitar with light overdrive :)

Oh yeah.. and the erebus is being treated with a slight touch of its own internal delay + the Solid gold FX surf rider III reverb.
