"Classic Oberheim OBX 8 voice polyphonic polysynth in good condition and fully working from 1979 that's extremely rare.

Used famously for its wide distinctive various sounds in the early 80s by Earth Wind and Fire, Queen flash and another one bites the dust sounds, Those big deep haunting dark sounds on The Police Ghost in the machine album from 1981, Roxy music to Killing Joke and Japan tin drum to lush sounds on later songs like on Nena 99 red balloons and KC and Sunshine band Give it up. I've used this a lot over the last 3 years and it has really stood out as something special.

I have had this fully overhauled a few years ago, it has a very fast tune up time and of course it sounds fantastic. I've programmed some great sounds worth keeping, it's very lush and big sounding and crazy sounding that can be very interesting and very out if you like those Sci fi sounds from that era. It has X mod on that's rare on synths from this time and when in unison mode thats like thunder and lighting crashing down. It has 2 VCOs, LFO with sine, square and S and H wave forms with a extra high and low pass filter."

The AWM-3 is an all analog, real-time, complex wave-shaping (triple wave-folder) 3-channel mixer module with added features of compression and multiple mix modes including matrix mixes. The combination of multiple access points (outputs of various mixes), wave-folding, and compression allow for an extremely wide array of signal processing, including complex chorus-like sounds.

All three channels are identical and can operate independently. They can also be cascaded (connected in series) to obtain double and triple wave-folding. "a live performance in one take. an ambient drone improvisation for modular synthesizer, monome grid, cassette tape, effects, and field recordings from a winter vacation in the southwest. sparrows and crows stirring, icicles shattering, snowclumps falling from bushes, the trickle of tiny drops. little worlds thawing.

a monophonic recording of a rhodes '73 improvisation, played from a musicthing radiomusic module, is run through mutable instruments clouds. that processed audio forms the pads throughout the piece. clouds parameters were modulated with envelopes and scratchy random motion from mannequins just friends and cold mac. melodic swells were played with a monome grid connected to earthsea, controlling a mannequins mangrove oscillator, sent through the three sisters filter in lowpass mode. that audio goes through the isms spring reverb tank, then into strymon tape delay and reverb pedals. the winter sounds, originally captured with a zoom h5, are played back from the tape deck.

"Happy New Year! Got my setup back together and I'm ready to get the new year started with more videos! This is a short little jam/demonstration of the Roland RE-301tape delay. I have a 16-step sequence running on the Octave Cat and start it off dry so you can hear what it sounds like on its own. Then the RE-301 just does its thing. It's like having another instrument almost. All effects are coming from the RE-301. No other processing other than some EQ and then compression on the Arturia Drumbrute. I tried to show the various delay lengths, a little bit of the spring reverb, the Chorus circuit, and what you can do with the Sound on Sound switch (which really makes things get crazy). This is an incredible sounding unit. If you can find one, I highly recommend picking one up. It is so choice"

"Hello. Here is another entry in my series of Yamaha CS-60 videos. Once again, no video of me playing. Instead, you get a mesmerizing cloudscape. This piece required a lot of multi-tracking and a lot of takes, so it didn't lend itself to a live performance video.

I called it 'Carry On.' Reminds me of British things, like the 'Keep Calm' slogan and the Carry On film series. But it's not deliberately referencing those things. I was thinking of how someone carries on despite setbacks and disasters, when it would be easier and less painful to quit.

The path ahead is dark and mysterious, portending doom, but you walk forward, unsteady and unsure, but you keep moving and hoping. Then another setback hits you, knocks you down, laughs at you as you tumble. You sit there a bit, gathering the nerve to continue, then you start again. But this time, you're more sure of yourself. The setback gave you strength. Finally, you are striding confidently into the future, though secretly there is still a little doubt. Listen to the piece with this description in mind and you will see how it matches step by step."

"This is an extremely rare and amazingly intuitive sequencer. It belongs with someone who will use it more than i do. It's one of the finest Cv/Gate sequencers ever made due to it's logical layout and improvisational capabilities. More on that later...

There were only around 500 made, and they were hand made by Dave Smith himself. He started his entire company Sequential Circuits based on this round of sequencer sales, which then provided his business foundation for developing the Prophet 5 and other major musical instrument milestones .

And what's more is that of the 500, only the first 50 or so had the capability of working with both V/Octave standard AND Hz/V standard. This is one of them. It is serial number 0041, and presumably this capability was more expensive due to the pricier D/A conversion necessary for the higher resolution.

AND, what's even more, is that this is one of a small handful that had a mod done to the unit (by Dave Smith) that allows for musical rests to be placed between notes. One can add as many single beat rests as any sequence can fit.

"This Vintage Moog Opus 3 Synthesizer is in mint condition. All sliders, knobs, oscillators and filters work perfectly. The face of the synth is beautiful. The side wood panels have hardly any scratches on them and look incredible, which is really rare for an old synth like this! Note this one is broken. Thought it was kind of interesting seeing it without the sliders and knobs, followed by the pic of the sliders and knobs.

-turns on but couple of lights flash in sync w/ lfo
-missing one fader cap, battery compartment cover
-wire to one of battery spings needs to be soldered
-tune knob, 2xLED(power,LFO) may be needed to be resoldered
-bender works but there is an internal crack to plastic on part
-old battery corrosion on inside of bottom plate"
