"The Oakley SRE330 is a multi mode stereo ensemble unit designed to mimic the behaviour of the multichannel chorus and ensemble units of late 1970s and early 1980s. The SRE330 uses up to four channels of bucket brigade delay (BBD) lines and up to four voltage controlled low frequency oscillators (LFO) to achieve a sound reminiscent of various types of string machines, guitar chorus pedals and studio rack effects of yesteryear.
Unlike the original devices the SRE330 allows greater control over the modulation depths, speeds and waveforms, as well as featuring a wet/dry control. Input and output level control pots are also provided to allow maximum flexibility in dealing with a variety of input signal levels. Both the stereo input and output connections are balanced but can be used with unbalanced connections if desired.
The unit features classic companding noise reduction circuitry which keeps unwanted noise levels to an acceptable level while also adding a 'vintage' sound of its own. A four LED level meter helps you keep signal levels at optimum ensuring a good noise to signal ratio without clipping."
"Short video playing around with the WMD Chimera I picked up at Knobcon this year.Been having a lot of fun with it so far. It's my 1st dedicated drum module. It fits right in with what I'm doing at the moment so I would say I'm very glad I got it.
PATCH NOTES:
Chimera is being triggered by one of the Sq-1s.
Peaks as well.
Two sequences from two different SQ-1s are both going to the Disting that is in Precision Adder mode. Both outputs from the Disting are routed to the 2Hp MIX then to the 2Hp TUNE. The output from the TUNE is being Mult'd to the 2Hp OSC and the int. OSC of the Mutable Instruments Warps.
The 2hp Osc is going through Ripples."
Some nice synth spotting in this one. Sequentix P3 sequencer appears to the brain.
"The Dutch house and techno explorer creates an intense track in 10 minutes.
Steffi keeps busy. Since moving to Berlin in 2007, the Dutch-born producer has – deep breath now – released three sublime solo albums on Ostgut Ton, founded not one but two successful labels, promoted hundreds of underground parties and kept the city's iconic Panorama Bar booming as one of its resident DJs.
With her most recent album World of the Waking State continuing to make waves a month after its release, we added another item to her already-frantic to-do list – our Against The Clock challenge. Crafting a beat in 10 minutes using a seriously enviable array of gear, the cult hero didn't disappoint. Watch above."
"Arc Light is the third musical experiment of many featuring a new configuration with monosynth and drum synth, swapping effects pedals using the Patchulator 8000 on a shared pedalboard."
"An original track played live on a Korg Volca Keys, Sample and FM. Patterns were recorded into the Keys and FM via MIDI from a MicroKORG S. No DAW, just hardware. Try my Volca Expert Guides for free and you can become a Volca Expert too! https://itunes.apple.com/gb/author/to..."
"SOS synth guru Gordon Reid casts his mind back to 1987 where he first saw the Roland D-50 — a now iconic digital synth that used Linear Arithmetic synthesis. We check out the Boutique recreation of that classic synth in the shape of the D-05."
"Received the ALM Busy Circuits Akemie’s Taiko yesterday. Connected it right away and this happened. Love it already.
SCHLEUßIG mutes the drums: Hexinverter Mutant Clap, TIptop HH909 and a Kick made with a PMF microVCO"
"Winter Modular Eloquencer is the main sequencer with all 8 tracks used for: bass from Verbos Harmonic Osc, 4 drums from 2 Erica Pico Drums.
The chords are formed by Intellijel Shapeshifter, Mutable Instruments Elements and Braids, through Makenoise Erbe-Verb and Erica Black Hole DSP.
The lead and blips are from Tiptop Z3000 and Malekko Anti-Oscillator, triggered by the Varigate 8+.
Other modules, vcas, mixers etc: MI Veils, Doepfer A-132-2, A-143-2, A-134-1, A-138b, A-138p/o, Waldorf KB37, Low-Gain Submix7, Makenoise Maths and Optomix."
"Textures with the KORG ARP Odyssey singing on top, Spectrasonics Keyscape Rhodes providing the shimmering harmonic grit, the Roland System-8 supplying a solid foundation, lashings of tape delay & Valhalla DSP Vintage Verb to taste..."
"All synth parts done with the Yamaha CS-5 only, plus one loop and one crash. As a 'novelty' item, I didn't use a sequencer for this, but played all parts in real time.
FX used:
Sonitus fx: Delay
Overloud Breverb2"
"The Q114 Mixer++ is a 4-channel mixer, a dual 2-channel mixer, and a signal distributor in a single-wide MU format module. The Q114 also provides many processing functions including signal inverting, amplifying and offsetting.
The unique design connects channels together until you insert a plug. This allows various combinations of mixing, distributing and processing simultaneously.
Each channel's knob attenuates its input from 0% to 100%, and the toggle switch sets an optional function. Use X1 for normal mixing.
Several Q114 Mixer++ modules can be daisy-chained together for 8, 12 or more channels.
The rules of operation are simple and powerful:
Input and output jacks are switching jacks. Inserting a plug breaks the connection to the next channel. This allows an amazing variety of mixing and processing possibilities in a small space.
INPUTS
Without a plug inserted into an input, that channel receives its signal from the input above it. When a plug is inserted into an input, that channel receives its signal from the plug. The first input is 5 volts without a plug inserted.
OUTPUTS
Without a plug inserted into an output, that output is mixed into the next channel below it. When a plug is inserted into an output, the processing of that channel is sent out, and the signal is not mixed into the next channel, the chain is broken.

"First track written since our baby was born (3 months ago). No time to write, no time to think or relax, creativity lacking - but maybe it's always been this way, I just have an excuse now.
"Roland JD-800 legend in exceptional condition. NO red glue issue on this one!
This unit is clean inside and out. All button contacts and sliders function responsively. The keys springs are reset and regreased. Auction includes these Genuine Roland spare parts and add-ons:
12-note Contact Strip (qty 4)
13-note Contact Strip (qty 1)
61 Key Springs
Drums & Percussion Standard waveform card
Drums & Percussion Standard data card
Only issue is the stiff aftertouch that all these JD-800 keyboards suffer from. This can be fixed with a change of resistor which I never undertook."
"Another awesome module. The E440 has a thick, dense character that I've not heard anywhere else. Hopefully these demos will give you some idea of how it sounds."
"I've just picked up a Soulsby Synthesizers ATMEGATRON (best name ever). An unashamedly 8-bit synth that does pretty, shiny, gritty, chip-tuney, bitcrushy sounds. It's ace. There'll be a full demo soon, but for now, here's a little exploration of just some of the sounds it has hidden away inside its colourful shell!"
"In this video we use three Intellijel Plonks to make a variety of percussion and melodic sounds.
Plonk from Intellijel is a modal synthesizer voice that uses physical modelling to create a wide variety of percussive and textural timbres. The module's modal synthesis engine, developed with the help of Applied Acoustic Systems, allows for realistic emulation of plates, membranes, strings and beams. The module also features a compact design that relies on an OLED screen that can be used to both configure parameters as well as view live modulation patterns of the waveforms being generated by the module. Fans of Mutable Instruments Rings will be right at home with this unique resonator unit.
"The Prophet 600 Panasonic keybeds often have problems with dead or intermittent key contacts. In this video I show you how to access the key contacts, and how to repair them for reliable long-term operation.
Parts for DIY repair and restoration of Sequential Circuits synthesizers are available at my website. I also repair and restore Prophets and other vintage synths for customers around the world."
"My new Korg Sigma. I wanted to try sequencing it, and as I don't have an appropriate Hz-to-Volt analog sequencer (mine are all Volt-per-Octave) I had to rig up a really cumbersome workaround. This involved using the Moog 960 sequencer to output V/Oct CV out to the Kenton CV-to-MIDI converter which output MIDI to the Future Retro Mobius sequencer MIDI input which converted to Hz/V to be sent to the CV input of the Sigma. PHEW! The drums were patched on the Moog Modular. See http://myblogitsfullofstars.blogspot.... for more"
"Beautiful and incredible sounding Yamaha CS-40M vintage analog synthesizer from 1978! This beast is much sought-after but rarely discovered in such a pristine condition!.. I just had it serviced (see pics) and it plays and sounds like a dream!"
"Vintage Yamaha CS01 Synth in good working condition. Cosmetically, some scratches, scuffs, etc. It comes with aftermarket AC adapter. These were designed and are best to be used with breath controllers. The same model used by Chick Corea"

"CRUEL+UNUSUAL INSTRUMENTS PRESENTS! C3P0 v4093!! A full analog 4 oscillator synth controlled by RAMP voltage controlled oscillators and/or ON\OFF keyed input! each oscillator can also be sent to the input of its neighboring oscillator creating a cascade effect to the input while the neighbor oscillator is outputting its signal to either the master channel or the next oscillator in the chain!
RAMPING! so each oscillator is controlled by either the pitch knob OR the ramp via the selecting switch for that channel. when ramp control is on the pitch will rise and quickly fall at the rate controlled by the large black knob for that channel! All these functions and controls are demonstrated in the demo video.
-9v portable power included
-1/4inch output
-volume knob (its very loud)
-led indicator.... power on / kill switch on"

"3 sine wave oscillators each with adjustable symmetry and low sine key adjust! Creating smooth to course, dirty to clean, synch chords at a push of its 12 keys! This little monster sounds great with added distortion and WOW with a Flanger. Completely portable with 9v power and 1/4 inch output!"
"For your maximum pleasure use good speakers or good headphones while watching/listening to this video.
I openly admit I am still very far from mastering Lyra-8 on at least intermediate level. At the moment, I don't think I am able to predict more than 60% of what's going to happen in the next moment, if I tweak this knob, switch or change this or that on the instrument. But still it produces so expressive and inspiring sounds no matter what, so you just want to play it. As most of the videos I saw before I decided to order Lyra-8 were Lyra-8 as solo instruments, I am also very happy and glad Lyra integrates so naturally and easily into the rest of my set up.
This video is an excerpt from about two hours long improvisation/dawless synth jam. In this segment I managed to turn Lyra-8 into what I would call expressive lead synth, but I have no problem, if you disagree with such label in the context of this video and how Lyra-8 sounds in it. Anyway the rest of the set up is SEM Pro by Tom Oberheim, Semblance by Analogue Solutions and Taurus III Bass Pedals - all sequenced by Cirklon hardware sequencer. Additionally there is also Elements Synthesizer by Ken Macbeth producing self-generated and beautifully organic sounds. Lyra-8, SEM Pro, Semblance and Taurus III are also processed through Strymon Big Sky for reverb and SEM Pro with Semblance also through the vintage tape Roland Space Echo for delay.

"A demo song created in the upcoming Rytmik Studio. Rytmik Studio is in development for quite long time. The new version of Rytmik is now at a point where we can accelerate development, and we need your support to achieve this. Support us at Indiegogo."
The are now running on Indigogo campaign for Rytmik Studio. The following are some details including the updates to previous incarnations you can expect.
"Third Generation (2017)
Rytmik Studio. That's what we are working on, and you can now support it. The jump between the second and the third generation is huge. For more specific information, please see the list of features and the description of the internal architecture of our sound engine. We are currently developing this version for PC and Mac. It will be available on Steam in Early Access later this year. The final version of Rytmik Studio will be available in 2018."
"What is Rytmik Studio?
Simply put, it's a music creation software based around a beautifully simple, yet wonderfully powerful concept. It’s flexible, instant and fun. Create a basic melody in a few steps, compose a great song in a few minutes, and show your musical flare with a whole range of instruments and effects. Rytmik Studio combines a step sequencer and a wavetable synthesizer. All this is supported by a built-in library with over 1200 samples, hundreds of instrument presets and dozens of sample songs. The results of your production can be instantly shared online, or exported to more traditional audio file formats. Rytmik Studio allows you to set different permissions and save songs to the Rytmik Cloud for users to enjoy, from simple playback and rating to remixing and collaborations. Take a song and watch how it evolves as it passes through the hands of more composers and their creative input.
Why IndieGoGo?
We have been developing games and applications for over 19 years. In 2010, we started developing the music application Rytmik for Nintendo DSi. Over time, we added new features and improved existing ones. As Rytmik grew, so did technology, and we took advantage of the more powerful hardware that became available. The latest version, Rytmik Ultimate, is available for Windows, MacOS, Nintendo 3DS, and iPad. We are now currently developing the third generation of Rytmik: Rytmik Studio.
The community behind Rytmik is growing, and we have two clear objectives. Firstly, we would like to complete Rytmik Studio sooner. Secondly, we want to involve the community in shaping the development itself. In today‘s digital age, a togetherness of development and community is essential for everybody. The new version of Rytmik Studio is now at a point where we can accelerate development, and we need your support to achieve this.
