"So here we have a very rare synthesizer, the Davoli Davolisint. From what I've read only 500 were ever made. I bought this from the original owner who had it since 1975. He said he kept it in the studio its entire life. It has some scrapes and scuffs but it does work all the keys work as they should and make sounds and the organ buttons work as well... I'm not sure if it's just too subtle to tell but the first vibrato might not be functioning. I'm hoping to find a good home for this with somebody that can take care of it. You won't see too many of these in the future. It has a rich fat analog sound and It sounds like something Jack white or flogging Molly might throw into one of their songs."

It is based around the Atmegatron audio engine but also has a lot of different features, which make it more suited to the modular environment. One of the key differences is the ability to capture wavetables via an audio input. There is also a “continuous capture” mode which produces vocoder-style effects. The resolution of the audio engine can be altered from the Atmegatron’s 32 sample wavetables, down to 16 and up to 128 samples, creating radically different timbres."

This video demos a Roland Jupiter-6 synthesizer clone filter VCF. This breadboard build took two days, and for me is the largest one I've built yet. Does this circuit sound as good as the original? You be the judge. Anyway, I really wanted to hear what it sounded like before deciding about building my own module.

I came across schematics for the Roland Jupiter-6 at amsynths.co.uk. They actually sell completed modules and PCBs, however they seem to be perpetually out of stock. This will be a nice companion multi-mode filter to go next to my SEM module. IMHO the SEM sounds buttery and creamy, and the Jupiter-6 is a complete savage with outrageous low end."
